These shoes are okay, but not as comfortable as I hoped. I ordered them for walking and they are fine for that and very cool in the hot weather. The straps are pretty stiff and that is what makes these shoes not as comfortable as I would have liked. Also, I think they run a little large and probably should have ordered a half size smaller.

I like these shoes. They are comfortable and really cute. I usually wear a size 7 and purchased a size 7. My heel goes right to the end of the shoe, which seems to be how the shoe is supposed to fit since the heel strap is not adjustable. My left foot is more of a 6 1/2 and if I had gotten anything larger than a 7 the foot strap would have been too long.

These are great summer shoes - I've worn them for walking around in the city as well as for light hikes at local trails. The strap configuration is a bit strange at first and my only complaint is that they can be tough to just slip on. But they're relatively stylish for a sneaker/sandal hybrid, and they're very cool and comfortable. They run big - I wear an 8.5 and I am usually a 9.

Nice looking and light weight water sandals. The color straps are long but still able to keep sandals secure. The back of my heel where the strap hits got a bit sore after walking in them all day (strap isn't stretchy).

I love the way this shoe looks, and I have gotten lots of compliments on it when I wear it. It is very versatile, and I loved it for the first few hours. But unfortunately not as comfortable as I had hoped for long periods. As with other reviewers, I found it rubbed on the outer edges of the front of my foot and the back strap digs in to my heel a little - especially if I try to put my feet up. Keeping them, though, and hoping they will "break in" over time.

It took me a good month to break these in. I followed the general advice to order 1/2 size up originally, but I had to go with my normal size since my small toes were popping out of the small toe enclosures on the bigger size. I also found the straps to be way too long. I solved this by tying knots in the straps - easy enough since they are thin and I don't mind the knots, but some might prefer if they were shortened professionally. All in all a great looking shoe but it took a long time before I developed the calluses to wear them comfortably.

While these water shoes are cute, function should have overruled my lack of sensibility! I primarily purchased these for beaching: clamming, paddleboarding and surf conditions. They are a bit cumbersome to put on due to the skinny straps which did I mention, are cute! As well, my pinky toe is always popping out of the mesh top which therefore, compromises stability. Fine for paddleboarding, but when I fell off, the shoe slid off the top of my toes. Fine for clamming and cute 'round-towning, but wished I had gotten my second choice for function, especially since the price for these was steep.

This shoe is very comfortable and stylish. However, it's not very practical and didn't really deliver on performance for me. It's fine if you are walking on paved surfaces, even ones that are wet, because the shoes dry very quickly. However, like other reviewers, my left pinkie toe slipped out of the covered front, which was annoying and made for a less than perfect fit. I didn't discover this until I had worn them a bit, and I don't think sizing down would help the issue. Also, although these shoes are supposed to be for the water, they are not great at the beach as they collect sand easily in the front, which does not come out unless you remove the shoes. The shoe practically came off my foot when I was wading into the surf getting into a boat so they're not super practical when put to the test. They are great and very comfortable for roaming around paved streets but that's about it.

These were not my first choice of Jambu sandals, but since they were vegan and the others (Ocean) were leather, I bought these. The problem with them was that the straps, when tightened enough to secure the shoe to my foot, hung off the shoe by at least an inch. I read reviews after I purchased them indicating the same problem, so I decided it wasn't a problem with my one pair and I had a shoe repair place shorten the straps and add velcro for $15. It is unfortunate that they are not adjustable for normal size feet. My feet are not especially narrow. Now they fit great, but paying the extra for the repair was unfortunate.

I have long, narrow feet (11N). I was pleased with the style, the comfort and thought these would work in this size, 11M, until I pulled on the laces and the Velcro strap was too short, and went right past it's adjoining match on both sides. Sadly, I have to return them and try another style.

Great-looking backpack and crazy fast delivery, but it's an awkward size and it feels too wide on my back (I am 5' 6"). The shoulder straps are itchy, as well. It's going back. Too bad.

I was really excited about these shoes. I was worried that they might not fit because I have feet that border on the wide side. I was pleased to see that the straps were highly adjustable and I had no issues adjusting them to sit my feet. Unfortunately the metal hooks that the straps run through dug into the sides of my feet a little. Additionally, there was no arch support. If you are someone with flat feet, these shoes will work fine. The bottoms are soft and comfortable but if you need any arch support these shoes do not provide any.

I really wanted to like these. They are great looking shoes, but the fit is consistent with one other pair of Jambu shoes that I've owned. For both pairs, my heel sits way on the outside edge of the footbed, causing the shoe to wear heavily on that side and my foot to slide outward.

I was looking for a sandal with some toe protection, but found my bare foot and toe shield were uncomfortable. The thin straps twisted easily and I found it annoying to have to fix them. I was looking for a comfort sandal, and these did not fit the bill. But Zappos is great, as always.

Nice shoe, less bulky option to some of the Keen models, but I ended up wearing a Keen shoe more on an outdoor trip (lots of walking over rocks, in wet areas).

I wore this shoe for a full year and also noted the straps are too long. I wear a size 6 and to tighten them it left the straps hanging way past the back of the shoe. Even still I enjoyed the shoes until the Velcro completely stopped working on one of the shoes. The strap not only popped off every few minutes but the Velcro kept snagging my long dress and ultimately shredded the hem of the dress ruining it completely.

Overall this is a very funky outdoor sandal. I bought the magenta color (Vegan) and it looks very nice. One of the nicest looking all terrain sandals. They seem to run very wide, it could be because I have flat feet, but the straps were very loose on my feet. I had to pull them all the way, which look very silly with about 2 inches of strap on each side of the foot hanging at the back. In order to make the shoe fit I had to tighten the straps and this creates and uncomfortable sport where two straps cross at the arch of the foot. This digs into the skin make it uncomfortable for someone with flat feet.

Cute shoe and would have kept it but the toe box was too short or otherwise uncomfortable.

With all the positive reviews I thought I would love these as regular sandals. However, I was disappointed when I tried them on. The middles strap is held by a metal loop and that hurt when it pressed against my foot so I didn't find them comfortable to walk in. Also the toe area is wide. Therefore, I will return these. I think if I had been looking for a water shoe I might have kept them, but since I don't need that I will return these. I don't like the way the toe curls up--looks kind of clunky.

These were exactly what I was looking for in terms of a closed-toe casual sandal that I could wear to work but I had to return them because of the fit. As with another pair of Jambu sandals, the velcro straps are way too long - when I tighten the straps to keep the shoe snuggly on my foot, the ends of the straps stick out about 2 inches so it looks silly and there's not much velcro holding them on at that point. Jambu should make the staps a little shorter, and add more velcro down the length of hte strap so that, even if the ends of the strap do stick out, at least there's plenty of velcro to hold the shoe on.

I had foot surgery and these work all right. However, gravel/sand does still get in.

These are not good water shoes. The tiny strips of Velcro are too small, and too long, and any little bit of mud sucks them right off. They are cute but not meant for an active lifestyle.

I really really like these shoes but after wearing them 1 week they broke! Hoping they will replace them. The straps seem to long for my foot not sure what to do to make them shorter.

I really wanted to love these shoes. And I did, for awhile. I bought them two days before a week at Disney World. As for comfort, they held up well. For as much walking as we did, my feet did not hurt at the end of the day. However, after a couple days, the mesh started to rub near my toes, particularly my pinky toes. The straps were a little funny and strange to work with. They were either too long or too short. On day three or four, the material near the Velcro on the strap started to fray. Though I was able to wear them throughout my trip, I returned them (I did not purchase them through Zappos). I really liked these shoes. The memory foam foot bed was a dream - but the construction and materials of the upper left something to be desired. For as much as these cost, they should have lasted longer than a week.

I really loved these shoes and the color was better in person than on the website. The only problem is that the heel strap is horrible. They put a little cushion on it but it still was super painful! I had to send them back.
