Everyone who sees these boots loves the look. They are great for protection from rain, mud and dust, but there are some important downsides. These boots are not lined so the inside is rubber just like the outside, meaning the boots suction to the legs, and sweat builds up very easily. Also, the boots can leave marks on the legs from clothing. If worn without anything underneath, the top of the boots will burn the skin. Always cover legs completely before wearing these boots.

Beautiful colors! Comfortable boots that really keep those feet dry. I wore them in the snow with a fleece sock liner. Calf is snug.

Love, love, love these boots. I was looking for great looking boots and did not want the Hunter Boots because I had already bought them and planned to return them! They were too clunky looking! My new Ralph Lauren boots are classic looking and sophisticated. They are so versatile from wearing them with trendy jeans to work attire. Hope this helps!

These are very durable and comfortable to walk in. The calves fit very snug so you don't need thick knee high socks. They keep you dry. The rubber sole is very strong. I've worn them a few times in heavy rain and they still look brand new!

I love these boots and they are very comfortable. I have received a lot of compliments on them. I feel they are worth the money.

Purchased these beauties for my teen daughters. They love these elegant rain boots. Zappos free shipping and fast shipping as well. We will be using Zappos much more often.

Bought these in the color I wanted, but they didn't fit. (They run small.) Zappos didn't have that color one size up. I ordered them in a different color one size larger than my normal shoe size. That pair fit, but they smelled -- as another reviewer says, they stink. Also, in the blue plaid, they just looked silly, like clown pants. I am hoping Zappos will get the color back in that I wanted in the first place, but given that it is rainboot-buying season, it seems unlikely. Disappointing, because the shape of the boot is nice.

Received these today and they're going back tomorrow. Adorable boot, love them, but way too tight in the calf, I mean really tight!

They are fun with jeans for a little splash of personality, but they would also work with slightly dressier attire if you are a walk-to-work gal. They keep out wetness, but are not super warm if you are dealing with snow.

Great boots! Comfortable and true to size. The only thing to note is they do run tighter than normal in the calf. Which also means they look better, than cheaper, wide, bulky rainboots.

I absolutely love these rain boots, I wore them with a white oxford styled shirt, and some skinny jeans.

Just got these boots and love them. Great style and the blue is not as bright as the photo shows (a good thing, I think). They're very comfortable and I have not noticed any unpleasant odor. My only dislike is the shaft is a little narrow. I'm of normal size and when I tried these on with skinny jeans they would not pull up all the way.

I love these boots! The only issue is the tabs holding the strap up on the back of both boots has fallen off. Otherwise fantastic!

These boots are amazing! I love to color/pattern, it goes with almost everything. The only problem I have is that they are a little snug and they are not good shoes for doing a lot of walking.

I bought these as a gift for my college freshman. She loved the style but the fit is odd. They are tight in the leg of the boot, while the ankle area is very full. Disappointed with the fit, but they are cute so she reluctantly sacrificed style over fit!

I am disappointed because I absolutely love these boots, I love the fit, but they really smell! I have had them for months and the smell has not gone away. It gives me a headache if I am wearing them for too long. The smell has always gone away from all the other rain boots that I have had. These were the most expensive! Come on, Ralph Lauren! Your name means quality so own up to it!

Okay, so they are so pretty! But they gap in the back, I usually wear an 11 but I think I will try the 10. They smell like cheap plastic, and I expect more from Ralph Lauren!

The calves of these boots are so big that they look funny when I step. Also, they bend at the back of my ankle, so it's a bit awkward when I walk. I would love them if they fit a bit better.

I purchased these boots and wore them for the first time yesterday. I had no issue with a smell or how they fit; however, they soaked my feet in the rain? Go figure, needless to say I am returning them today.

This is a weird fitting boot. The top was so tight that it would be impossible to wear without skinny jeans; regular jeans don't fit. The ankle area was so loose that I almost could have fit a tennis ball in it. I am about 125 lbs, and I do not have large calves. I saw other reviews that they were tight on the calf, but figured it would be fine for me because I'm smaller, but it was really tight. If you will only be wearing them with skinny jeans or tights it would be fine (if you're okay with the loose ankley area), but I needed something a bit more versatile. Another note: don't buy them if you're looking for a warm boot. I love them, they look just like in the picture, but I have to return them.

I'm returning this ASAP. It's the biggest size 10 I've ever come across. Also, the ankle is huge and floppy, yet the calf is a bit tight at the top. They are a mess! It's a shame, because they look adorable in the box.
