I got these boots because of the unique design and they look really classy and great! I have really small calves so these fit better than most of the rain boots out there which are huge and make my legs look like they are swimming in them. I wore them on a trip and they are perfect for walking around in as well.

These boots are great. They look classy and are still adequate for rainy days. I wear them to work with a skirt and their great. They are a little narrow in the toes and the calf is pretty small. I have triuble wearing them with skinny jeans. I am a size 6 so my calves are normal. Good looking boit, though!

I tried many pairs of rain boots during the past 2 months and ended up buying and keeping these. They are slim and pretty. (I have skinny calves and feet.) The material is soft so they feel light and comfortable. The price is not overly expensive. Some consumers don't like the plastic-y smell; It's not that bad to me. Now I just need to try them in the rain!

Was so sad...I loved these rain boots but when I got them home and on my feet I couldn't walk in them. They don't bend and I felt like I was trying to walk in ski boots. Boo hoo!

I got the cheetah boots and I love the style. They look exactly like the picture. The only thing I don't like is that the calves on the boots are pretty small, they are too fitting.

Adorable and exactly what expected. One thing though and the top part is very narrow. I am a reasonably fit girl, and this boot is a tight squeeze on the calves when I try to wear it over pants/jeans!

I am 5ft tall, 125lbs and I ordered this boot after returning a Michael Kors one. I am a 6 size but ordered one size down. I received the boot & wore it 2 timees in our house. I love the tall, sleek, chic, modern, comfort look this boot style offers. However, I do agree with the strong, cheap plastic smell. Though the fit is perfect for my feet & calf size, I cannot get the boot off my feet! I definitely need another pair of hands pulling it off! Then, because the plastic is so new & not worn in, my feet have a tendency to walk inward as if there is a magnetic strip pulling my ankles together. So I haven't decided if I'm going to return/exchange it.

Like some other reviewers, I found the ankle areas of the boots to be too wide, that makes the look less stylish and walking in them not too comfortable. You definitely cannot run for a bus or taxi in them. The pair I got also stinks quite badly. I've got them for a month now. They still stink and stink up my closet. If the smell doesn't go away for another month, I'll return it.

As other reviewers stated, the calves are very tight. I don't think I have overly athletic or big calves, but they were still too tight. Even after I took them off, I felt like I was still wearing them (because they were so tight). I only had them on for a few moments to try them out. Also, the heel was too big and it was hard to walk. I really wanted to love these and I'm disappointed that I have to return them.

I loved the design of these boots, very stylish and loved the pattern. When I received my boots I was disappointed to find they were very tight at the calves area. My calves are not that big, but these boots made it difficult to wear even with skinny jeans. Also, the boots are very floppy in the ankles area, and they have no lining inside if you plan to use them for the snow, your feet will be very cold. I expected more from Ralph Lauren, these boots were poorly designed.

Works only if you commit to wearing with skinnies. B/W Houndstooth is super cute, BUT as others said incredibly narrow calf and I don't have "athletic" calves.

Really cute, but is too tight at the top of the boot. Creates a sitter of suction, it's difficult to get the boot on and off. Wish it was a bit wider at the top. Other than that, cute.

So sad I'm going to have to return these. They cut off circulation in my big ballet dancer calves. There is no way I could have gotten leggings underneath, let alone any kind of pant. Also they were huge in the ankle area which made me look like I had cankles, or just made my legs look really funny shaped. They do run small, so if you order, I would recommend going up a size, especially since the calves are so snug.

Absolutely love the style of these boots and got them in the black & cream houndstooth… however, the ankles are very large and gap wide when I bend my ankle. Also the top of the calf is very narrow compared to the oversized ankle area (my calves are athletic and not that large). Unfortunately I have to return them due to how they're proportioned.

These boots are an amazing rain boot find if you can fit into them! I do not agree with the other reviewers who say the calves are big, maybe if you are a person with very skinny calves (which many women have). I have medium-sized calves - about 15" circumference and not too muscular but also not what I would call slender. I loved these boots to the extent that I could comfortably get them on, which was impossible. But the look of them is very classy, a great blend of functionality and style. If your calves are less than a 14 1/2 circumference, these are probably for you!

These boots are beautiful but there are some problems with the construction of them. I agree with everyone else that said that the calf area is narrow. I had jeans on when I tried them on and they did go over the jeans. My calf is about average size not big or small. The ankle area is wide and sort of folds in when you walk. Walking in the boots are kind of awkward with the overall fit of them. I have to say that I love the style of the boots. The width of the toes are perfect, not too narrow or wide. I got them at a great price and because I love the style of them I'm going to make the sacrifice in the awkwardness of the fit and keep them!

It is stylish but too fitting that I can not take them off. My neighbor has to help me take it off.

Very cute boot! However, if you know you have big calves, save yourself the trouble and don't order. Very tight around the calf portion.

These boots looked fantastic online, and I've been looking for new ones ever since my other ones split down the back! I ordered them and they arrived in no time. I tried them on and they were very fitted to my foot but not uncomfortably so. I am tall and thin and the calves felt fine not too tight but not too loose. I was going to keep them until I took them off and they were sitting in the box and they smelled horrible! I tired to let them air out for almost 3 days but they still smelled. Just warning you before you get these, they don't smell as much when they are on but they smell terrible when they are off. They even smelled up the whole room they were sitting in. They are very cute but not worth the smell.

These Ralph Lauren rain boots look great, but the tops are so tight, I won't be able to tuck skinny jeans or leggings into them. I'm afraid I have to return them.

Boots are cute...like other rain boots, though, they do have a strong plastic smell. And also, very narrow across the vamp. Had to return them.

The boot is beautiful, and it fits fine except the top. It's tight. Its so tight I can only wear them with a dress or boot cut pants. Because of the tightness around the top of the calf, its sometimes difficult to take off. Forget wearing this with a bear leg. It sticks to the skin. I kept the boots since the rest fits fine. Please don't buy if your calf isn't extremely thin.

Bought these for my wife a month ago but there was a defect in the heel and we returned them. Because she liked them so much I re-bought for Valentine's day. This pair has bubbles in the vinyl. Very disappointed with the quality of a boot like this from Lauren.
