Wow - the cutest boots and with an actual low heel! I like to wear my boots while doing a lot of walking and 3" heels don't work for me. Plus - these have a generous toe box and don't rub against the top of your ankle. I just wish I could justify getting all of the colors!

I bought the greyish color last winter. I don't think I have ever loved a pair of shoes or boots so much. I am contemplating ordering the rose taupe pair as well. These boots are like wearing slippers, and looking stunning at the same time. Love!

These boots are very cute and comfortable. Very true to size, yet pliable.

Love these boots...just the right amount of height. The tassel is very fun on the side. Third pair of Sam Edelman boots...all extremely comfortable.

I just got these shoes in the Tan Suede color a few days ago and they are exactly what I was looking for. The color is lighter in person and very flattering. These look great on and feel good, too. These will definitely be a staple this year for me. I ordered my usual size (8 1/2) and they fit perfectly.

I absolutely love these boots. They are perfect style whether you choose to go casual or dressy. They look great with leggings, hose, jeans a complete must for your wardrobe. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

This is a great boot! I wore them all day (10 hours) and not even a pinch and my feet are very sensitive. Great color. Way to go Sam!

Obsessed with these booties. I've worn them every day since they arrived one wk ago with dresses, skinny jeans and a tunic, etc., and walked over 2 miles each day in them. Choosing a color was tough, but I am so pleased w/ the light taupe. It's totally versatile and I can't express how much I love them. I was waiting to spend the money and kept reading the reviews- everyone is right about these! I couldn't be happier with this purchase and Zappos' delivery (as usual!). I usually buy shoes in size 7.5 or 8 (but recently measured on the larger side of 8), and I bought these in 7.5. They fit perfectly with a thin sock, so I'd suggest sizing down if you're in between half sizes and have a narrow foot. They have the signature padded faux-Croc sole (like S.E. sandals) that lend to the comfort. These are the PERFECT booties for transitioning into fall. I just hope the heel doesn't wear out too quickly! Definitely thinking I'll buy another pair ASAP in one of S.E.'s other colors.

Just as previous reviews have stated, these shoes fit true to size. Wonderfully comfortable as soon as I put them on. I like how they don't gape at the ankle, as I believe it's more flattering to the overall appearance to have a tighter fitting bootie. (but, they aren't tight at all) Really just love this most recent purchase, and now that they've been marked down again, I think I'll order them in another color! Thanks Zappos for your wonderful customer service.

This is an amazing boot. Like other customers have noted, it is really more of a grey suede color. I was comfortbale wearing this boot from day one. So stylish and easy to wear. I would highly recommend buying if you are looking for a more unique ankle boot.

These boots are great. They look good with skinny jeans, shorts and dresses/skirts. I was torn between these and similarly styled Steve Madden boots. Very glad I got these. They are extremely comfortable and I was able to wear them out of the box without blisters. I run between an 8 and an 8.5; in better made shoes I am usually an 8 and that was the perfect size in these boots. They are worth the money as they are very well made and look and feel wonderful.

Love them! Ordering in another color I like them so much. First real outing was a long day of travel with many airport walking miles. They felt great. I am an 8.5 or 9 depending and so I got the 9 and wear with a sock so they are perfect. I also have a narrow foot so the sock helped the normal slipping that a narrow foot usually has in any boot.

These booties are gorgeous but they are narrow and small in length. I purchased the Sam Edelman Petty in the same size (6.5) in the same order, and I ended up keeping the Petty and returning the Louie. The difference in sizing was ridiculous. I held them next to one another and it's unbelievable they're both size 6.5. I'd recommend going up AT LEAST half a size if not more. Unfortunately the green color was no longer available on Zappos by the time I made the return, so I ended up purchasing them elsewhere a half size up--hoping I don't need to go a full size up. Don't go by your standard sizing in Sam Edelmans. These are smaller than usual!!

I'd been eyeing these boots for a while. I absolutely love the color, love the texture, love the look. They are true to size and fit right out of the box. My only complaint would be that it's a little wide by the heel so I feel my heel wiggle and lift up a bit with each step. Could be my feet! Overall, I couldn't be more pleased.

I love the taupe suede Louie Sam Edelman boots. Zappos was one of the few sites that still offered them in my size. However most other retailers were already offering them at a substantial discount, including the Sam Edelman site. So time to get in line with most retailers, Zappos. After Christmas, spring shoes are being shown. Winter boots should be on sale at substantial savings.

Love the shape and color. A little narrow but will break in. I like that they don't gap at leg. Nice heel height. Fun bootie!

These are so cute, the heel height is perfect, but I tried on both my normal 8 and sized down to a 7.5, and my heel slips in both! I just can't deal with that inconvenience.

If you have a slightly wide foot, order two sizes. I ordered a half size up, but had to go a full size up. They are still tight across the ball of the foot, but hopefully the suede will stretch. They are so dang cute, I'm going to make them fit!

I love the style of this boot. The fringe isn't too excessive and gives it just the right amount flair. The only reason why I am giving this boot 4 stars is that the opening is too wide for my ankles. Although this may not be a problem for most people, I have small calves and ankles so finding boots or booties is troublesome. Overall the boot is beautifully detailed and extremely comfortable.

Super cute but they run a half size too big (at least). They are loose around the heel too, so they slip when walking. So definitely order a half size smaller than you normally would. I find it odd that they are size large since I have another pair of shoes in this brand which are sized perfectly (style Morillo by Sam Edelman).

This is a very, very nice boot. I was concerned about the fit as I have bunions, and I've found most stylish boots to run extremely narrow, but bought my usual 9.5-M and they were fine. The leather is soft so they have a little give. I have fat legs (17" calves) and I thought they looked cute without the cuff. The fringe does give them just enough pop without being over the top. I plan on wearing them with everyting! I have the dark brown leather and the color was true to the picture. Only downside, the heel is hard and slippery so I'll be replacing that with rubber. Thanks again Zappos!
