I bought this backpack as my son's school bag. It is very well made, is sturdy and roomy. Lots of backpacks these days do not allow enough room to pack anything but a binder. Just what I was looking for and my son loves it, too! Would definitely recommend it and would purchase another again!

I went with the Dakine line for my kids back packs for 1 main reason. Son used a Dakine Duffle bag for his portable school locker for 2 years. ALL of his high school books, boy things, gym clothes, and lunch went into this bag for 2 years. It held up BEAUTIFULLY. He could still use it but wanted to go to a back pack this year. It is the best money I have spent. If you hold the bag with all the books in it, it is very heavy BUT if you put it on your back, for what ever reason it seems lighter. My daughter also has a Dakine back pack and is equally as wonderful. They love all of the compartments. They also love the fact that they can take their lunch in it and don't have to use a lunch bag. The cooler part works great. Would definitely recommend this back and brand to everyone.

Love it. I use it as a college student. Has plenty of room, for at least 2 college text books, my 17 inch laptop (which fits in the laptop sleeve) has an insulated front pocket, fits all my pens (I have a lot). It's comfortable and everyone loves the design on it.

Love this bag. Glad I scoured the reviews first. I needed a backpack big enough for traveling on long weekend trips that would fit clothes and items without having to take a clunky carry-on. It's perfect and the gray color scheme is pretty chic.

This is a very nice backpack for the price. It's plenty big enough for your average student. For example, I don't even use my locker I just use this bag instead since it's easier and reduces my linger time in between classes. It fits like a backpack should and it's moderately comfortable, however I have had significantly more comfortable packs in the past. Overall this pack serves it's purpose perfectly and it appears and feels to be made durably, not to mention it looks good as well. At this price it's a very good backpack for your common student looking for something to tote your books and what nots around in. I recommend it!

I cannot say enough good things about this pack. It is very well thought out in its design. I've used it for everything from a day bag, to fishing/hiking excursions, to even a more "manly" diaper bag. Nicely done Dakine!

This is a solid backpack with a lot of room and a bunch of pockets for organizational purposes. the large pocket easily fits three folders, a laptop, and a sweater without being bulky. The small pockets are staggered to reduce on the bulky factor even more and this is comfortable to wear.

I bought this for my 11 year old son and the fabric is great quality with a dry hand that looks cool and resists staining. VERY roomy, holds everything he needs. Comfy shoulder straps and sternum strap to help it be more stabilized.

Great backpack. Carries all my books for school and looks and feels great. So far, I haven't seen any issues with it.

I recently purchased this backpack for my boyfriend who is entering grad school. This is by far one of the sturdiest and durable backpacks, the material will endure considerable wear and tear. There are many compartments great for organizing, including an insulated pocket for cold items like drinks, a fleece lined pocket for glasses or your technology. There is also a padded lap top sleeve for laptops up to 15". The company is willing to provide a limited lifetime warranty as well, so they stand behind their product.

Bought this for my hubby who likes it. Unfortunately, one of the main features that I was looking for was a backpack with a cooler compartment that would eliminate him needing to take along a bulky cooler to work in addition to his backpack. This one is very small and doesn't hold much at all. It does look good and it hold his laptop and a lot of other "gear" pretty easily.

I ordered the Nebula color & I've got to say it looks even better in person! I love how many pockets there are compared to the bag I had before and it doesn't hurt my shoulders when full of various things. I can't wait to get on campus and trek around with this bag.

This backpack is incredible. I needed a new one and decided to go with this one. It does not disappoint. It has a great size and a bunch of cool organizer pockets. The straps are really comfortable and easily adjustable. The cooler pocket is really neat as well. If you need a backpack that can do anything, this is the one for you.

Being a UPS driver, I needed a great backpack to keep my maps, supplies drinks/snacks, etc. What a great backpack! Tons of room, pockets, zippers and best of all, a built in cooler pocket that keeps my drinks cold. Top quality and rugged. You need to own this!

Had a previous Dakine backpack for 7 or 8 years and was very satisfied so wanted to stick with the brand. Just got this model, but so far very satisfied with the quality and style of the bag. I ride my bike to work every day and often work from home and can easily fit my laptop and all things necessary for work in this bag. The cooler section is a very nice addition.

I wanted a simple bag for college and this fits the bill. Its perfect, nothing too fancy, very spacious and comfortable.

The bag is constructed very well with heavy duty materials. The size is adequate. There is a right amount of organized compartments but not too many that you can't remember which compartment to look in. A good buy for a student or everyday bag.

Bought this for my 13 year old. I picked it out on here and I am grateful I did! It's a very attractive backpack and my son loved it also. The contrast in colors are vivid. The handle on the top makes it more convenient, not to mention its sturdiness. And the cartoon art on it is awesome as well. Great buy for any person who wants to stand out.

This backpack is really roomy. I purchased this backpack for my second year in college and in all honesty I can't complain. It is a really comfortable bag with the padding on the shoulders. I was hesitant at buying it online but I'm glad I did.

I got the "Stump-Town" version of this backpack, and it looks fantastic! The teal on the zippers and in the lining has intense pop without being neon. The colors of the collage scene look a bit more subtle in person, which is a plus to me. Stylistically this thing is a 10. I can't speak to the durability, but it looks well made, has great features too. As comfy as any other strap-pack, in my opinion.

Great backpack. I am a college student and this pack has the perfect amount of room. The straps are kind of wide and stiff, and seem to want to fall off my shoulders, but the chest strap buckle fixes that problem. The fabric is a little thinner than I hoped for, but I hope this pack lasts, because it's the perfect size.

Let me say that this bag is pure awesome! I use this as my back-pack for college and it goes above and beyond expectations! It can easily fit a 3" zip-up binder, 2 medium size textbooks, and you can squeeze a 17" laptop in there. It has a pocket for headphones/sunglasses, a pouch for supplies, an insulated front snack pocket, and some deep bottle nets on the side. This was easily the best money I spent on something other than clothes. My friend has the same model different style and he loves it just as much as I do. However, it does bunch up at the bottom, but this isn't a big issue.

This is a pretty good backpack with lots of space to carry all of my books and things for school. The bag is comfortable.

This is a large backpack at 33L. But since we have other backpacks within this range, I thought it would suffice for my son who is in elementary school. But it is huge. The width dimension is very large and thus made it very awkward. Looked like the quality was great but I would only recommend this pack for larger bodies who are going to carry a bunch of books and such.
