I've been using mine daily since June 2010. The heater/burner stopped working in December 2011. It had a 3 year warranty on it so I called Cuisinart. What outstanding people! They made me do a cleaning procedure (which I knew wouldn't change anything as it was the heater that quit) but that was fine. For a $10 charge they sent me a new unit withing a week and I just had to pack my dead one in that box and UPS it back. This pot makes excellent coffee and doesn't take as much grounds as other brands (Bunn, Braun) to do it. I'd recommend this unit highly!

Purchased for X-mas gift for me and love this coffee pot. Looks snazzy on the counter top, perfect size, hot coffee and many choices for your particular wants, although not so high tech you can't figure it out. Good value for the price... quick ship from Zappos. Love Zappos!

This stops working after a few months to a year. Even after conscientious vinegar rinsing. This is rather expensive and I have already have two stop working on me!

Awesome coffee maker. Can't say enough good things about it. It's programmable so it's ready when you are in the morning and you always have a fresh tasting cup of coffee. Excellent machine, best by far.

The best coffee maker at this price! It brews in fast time, the controls are easy to use, and the components are very easy to clean. This coffee maker is actually the second one we have purchased in the last 4 months. We bought this one for our vacation home and have another in our primary home. Highly recommend!

I had never dealt with Zappos before ordering my Cuisinar 12 coffee maker. This may be my first dealing and purchase from them but it certainly will not be my last. I called the number listed because I had a few questions. The woman assisting me could not have been more pleasant. She answered all of my questions and was able to place the order for exactly what I was looking for. Again, thank you Zappos and I will certainly be ordering from you again, whenever the occasion arises.

This is the best coffeemaker I've ever used. It is definitely worth the price. I bought this product based on user reviews as well as professional reviews, and I'm glad I did. I just hope Cuisinart continues to make these, because in the unlikely event that the current one dies, I'll buy another. Although stainless steel looks nice, I went with the black and it is very sharp looking. The finish on the front is textured and is metal, not plastic. The brew strength and temperature is always very consistent, and the unit is very quiet. The alarm that signals the end of brewing is handy. The automatic brew timer is also very handy. This thing has it all. There are many features, which are all useful, but in the end, it brews a perfect pot of coffee, and that is what matters.

Great little coffee maker with a nice variable control warmer plate. These things last about three years or so before they go bust or just wear out like any small terminal appliance. This is our third one in about 10 years. We use it every day.

My brother, a self-admitted coffee snob recommended this machine. Just got it after mine quit after 10 years. I couldn't be happier with this as a replacement. I too appreciate a fine cup of coffee and with the right beans, this coffee maker delivers. Not too many confusing features and has just enough helpful ones! My last machine (a Krupps) had a groovy looking round pot that spilled water everywhere. This one is so much better. Solidly made, usable, good!

The coffee pot works fine. I do not like that the lid to the carafe does not flip up, you have to remove it completely to fill with water. Other than that it is fine. Also I did not find how to get the rebate.

I absolutely loved this coffeemaker...until after 4 years it "over heats" and totally turns off. Not nice coming downstairs in the morning to lukewarm coffee and you cannot turn it back on until it cools down.

This is a classy coffeemaker. However, it worked 2 times, the clean out after buying and 1 pot of coffee. That tasted great. Did not work after that. Would not buy again.

I'm not impressed, less than 2 years old and it died already.

Stopped brewing after 14 months. Pretty pricey for 1 year, don't you think Cuisinart.

Great pot for 1-2 years but... About 16 months after purchasing, it started to leak water onto the counter (unrelated to pot placement onto the plate). Then every few days the fuse would blow in the kitchen. I didn't link the coffee pot to the mysterious electrical problem initially. Finally, the clean light was blinking despite at least 20 runs with vinegar water through its Clean function. After the 5th blown fuse I did some reading and realized it was the pot having 'internal leaks' that caused the fuse to blow for safety. The company says to figure out how it is leaking and fix it. I say bye bye pot. Electrical issues are no joke.

I bought this machine as a gift for my parents. They love it! It brews great coffee and also keeps it nice and hot. Well worth the money!

Good and easy to clean coffee maker. The one thing I could not understand for days was why the coffee tasted like water. I was baffled! I stopped using the 1-4 cup setting and all has been fine since.

This is a great all-around coffee maker, the second one we've purchased. Our first, the same beautiful black/chrome finish, lasted 6 years of everyday use. We love everything about it, and especially the sleek look, which is not a "dull stainless" finish, but a sharp-looking chrome that blends with stainless but is much less obtrusive on the counter, yet elegant. Our first one (same finish) lasted 6 years. We're hoping for the same good luck with this one. We never got a light telling us to clean the coffee maker, so we never did -- might have lasted even longer, had we taken that precaution.

We bought one for the office on 2009 and it is still going strong since then. We make coffee 2-3 times a day, 5 days a week for more than 3 years. Zero issues and always delicious coffee. We like the fact that it is the same coffee maker from the two and a half men series, nice!

Great purchase. Great deal on this item too and it was shipped very quickly. It was a Christmas present for my girlfriend, but she seems to be very happy with it.

Purchased this coffeemaker back in 2002 and has been working fine until recently, taking into consideration it lasted 10 years. It started leaking and finally smelled electrical burning so time go get a new one and will get the same brand and type. Very satisfied!

Bought a refurbished unit from another online retailer and it served me well for 7 years till today. Never missed a beat or cup of coffee...lightning seems to have zapped it. Now, to buy another!

This product has mixed reviews so I debated long and hard before purchasing. My friends have had one and it is easy to use. Just bought it and so far so good. The measure for water is inside and difficult to see...I use the gold filter. Coffee is nice and hot.
