Very uncomfortable to wear. The insole is not sufficient to cover the defects of an uneven (not flat) sole.

Received wrong size. Ordered "7". received "8". Shoebox was marked "7D' but shoes inside were "8D". very disappointed with this

When the shoes arrived one of the eyelets was loose on the shoe string and the hole was torn. Something was stuck to the sole, paper was missing from inside of toes. The box was torn and not packed like Zappos shipments usually are. Very disappointed!

I don’t like that the squeak they make

The narrow (B) width of the Dunham Midland Oxford Waterproof is not narrow. It is as wide as the regular-width versions of other casual shoes. My feet swim around in this shoe, whereas they are snug in B-width dress shoes. The shoe looks broad, boxy, and clunky. The openings around the ankles seem unusually high: the edges of the openings cut into both ankles with every step.

These shoes squeak horribly. Doesn’t matter what surface I’m walking on, carpet, tile, wood, asphalt concrete, wet, dry, doesn’t matter. They squeak on everything. Actualy, just the left shoe squeaks, the right shoe is fine. Can’t tell a difference between the soles, so haven’t been able to stop the squeak. Also, they are advertised as waterproof, but when I wear them in the rain, the toes of my socks get wet. On the positive side, they are comfortable and true to size. I’d never buy another pair.

Nice shoes, TERRIBLE laces, TERRIBLE customer service. The laces are round, slick, and will NOT stay tied even if double knotted. So I emailed Rockport/Dunham to seek resolution: no response. So I called them and was told "nothing we can do" Thay gave me shoe laces retailer website that I could BUY decent laces to go on my $140 shoes. This is not my first pair of Rockports - I think they are good shoes - but it will be my last.

Very small and narrow.

I really wanted these to work, but unfortunately this was not the case. They are a very heavy shoe, and not wide enough. There also wasn't enough arch support given.

I loved these shoes when I first got them. Great fit and very comfortable. I liked them so much I bought a second pair in black. Now, a little over 3 months later, the material on the inside of the heel has disintegrated. I work at a desk job, so there are very few miles on these shoes. The uppers and soles look almost new, but the inside of the heel has a gaping hole, making them unwearable. I have always been impressed with the quality of Dunham shoes, so this is a disappointment. So is tossing away this much money on shoes that last 3 months!

These are the worst shoes I've had. First, I got half size bigger and medium width but I exchanged it 2E which is not my normal width. These shoes hurt my feet. Even though they are slightly bigger, my heel has blisters. Additionally, they are very stiff and the front top surface of my feet is sore. Even though they are 2E, they still feel narrow, but I cannot have have shoes any bigger because they would like like orthopedic shoes. I typically have no problems with quality brands like Ecco. I would return then in no time but this behavior came out when I walked more outside. Really, horrible shoes.

I have gone through 10 pairs of Dunham Windsors over the years. I am pretty happy with how sturdy they are. Then Zappos dropped the Windsor for a long time so I tried these, the Dunham Midland Oxfords. They did not last anywhere near as long or well as the Windsors. The Midland Oxfords got soft and loose after 30 days. At that point they already started to look flat, loose, and shabby. More importantly, the sidewalls of the shoes have zero support. It is literally like strapping soft leather bags to your feet, (with a rubber sole, of course). They look like they are way too broken down way too soon. I am hugely disappointed with the quality of these. I will never buy them again.
