Customer Reviews New Balance WW577 Hook and Loop

I have really strange feet due to arthritis and bunions. I got an extra wide shoe which should have allowed room for my toes. The shoe wouldn't even go over my foot.

This is my third pair of new balance sneakeralways same fit ,same good sale price and no surprises in the wear and tear construction of the shoe..

The shoe didign Great. The leather Great. Style Great. But unfortunately one foot really not always comfy stiff. The size is good. Overlaps maybe should be shoestring. Not the shoe. My foot am sure.

Walking constantly on my feet

I have a arthritis in my foot so, per the podiatrist, I need to wear sturdy shoes. These shoes are sturdy but quite good enough in looks to wear for a little more upbeat activities/events. I had another pair just like these and they were really comfortable and last a really long time.

Not the quality of previous identical pair. Velcro straps 1/2 the length of the first pair; made for bad fit! Shame on manufacurer for cutting corners! Never bought another brand, but considering it.

Mom loves them and keeps her 97 year old feet movin.

I can leave on till bedtime. Wish they had better colors for this paticular shoe.

I use them for my daily walk, they seem to be well made, waiting to see if they last.

I normally love NB sneakers and I got these because they're solid black and I can wear them into the office. However, I'm really disappointed with these. They are very stiff and the tongue is huge and gets in the way. The laces are also extraordinarily long. I also take a narrow width and these do not feel like the usual NB narrow, especially in the heel. The heel also feels lower than the rest of the shoe, almost like my heel is sitting in a hole. They also seem a bit short. Unfortunately, I've worn them so I can't return them. I selected Runs Large because they are too wide, but they are also a bit short.

I have always bought this brand and model of shoe for my job. I am on my feet 9 hours a day. They are wonderful. The only negative thing I have to say about this pair is that they squeak. I have been wearing them for almost 2 weeks now, but they are still noisy. My co-workers hear me coming 20 feet away.

Very comfortable and durable. The 577 is my only choice for a walking shoe. I have worn them for years

I had high hopes for these walking shoes, but they turned out to be stiff and wide in the heel so I was walking out of them.

I'm retired from a hospital profession. I'd worked there 15 years and always wore the New Balance 576 walking shoes. They were great work shoes! Now I'm retired and needed to replace my last pair, but I could not find the 576 anywhere on the website. After a visual search of the site, I came to the conclusion that they'd been replaced by these 577v1 walking shoes - same style, same tread - BINGO!!! It was like putting on my old 576 friends!!! I couldn't be happier!

Left fit great but right was too tight. Tongue had not been completely stitched - I could easily stick my finger between top of shoe and tongue (so finger came out under laces). Had to return these, but looking forward to reordering as soon as my credit comes though. I've been wearing this shoe for many years and it's the best. Great support for active feet.

The shoes are great and feel good on my feet.

I've been ordering WW577 for years. This version takes too narrow. I've tried two pair. If I size up my heel will slip out.

I'm on my feet practically all day so a comfortable shoe is a must. I've been wearing New Balance for many many years but this is my first pair of 577v1. They seem a little short for the size, and I would have liked the Velcro strap a little wider. Otherwise, the usual great New Balance shoe!

the shoes are comfortable and the fit is perfect. I love my New Balance!!!

Very happy with the appearance of the shoe. The laces are way too long though. The width is comfortable but my toes push up against the front of the shoe. When I ordered them the description said they were 70% made in the USA which qualified as American made but when I received them they were made in Vietnam. I always supported New Balance because they were American made and I still do because I know some of the products are still made here but if the description says they're made in the USA the product should say the same.
