velcro straps needed to be longer

Appreciate the removable insole as I wear orthotics. Also being able to get my size in the WW. Have bought this shoe for years partly because of the Velcro closer. Am disappointed that the most recent model has shortened the Velcro. It looks adequate in the photo but when you actually put it on the Velcro doesn't cover across leaving an area that catches on my pants and eventually causes fraying of the fabric. Since I primarily wear pants, this is an issue. Otherwise the shoe is comfortable.

Does not say it has a roll bar but claims it does.

Use for working out.

I am using this to tell you that I have sent my order back because I ordered the wrong width. The 2E is too narrow. If you could, could you please check incoming freight for my return and resend the size I made reference to the size I reordered. Thank you in advance for your help on this matter.

The shoes I ordered, and the ones delivered, were size 11.5. They are smaller than the same shoe that I have been wearing for years. Why! And now what do I do with the supposedly 11.5 size shoes, that don't fit me?

One of the worst if not the worst shoe I ever put on. I wear custom orthotics and they fit perfectly, it all falls apart once you stand up. The sole of shoe has no support, the inside of the shoe has no support. The shoe was collapsing around me. Luckily I didn't injure myself . I will be more careful of New Balance for now on. No longer the brand for orthotic wearers.

It is the first time i accepted mail ordered shoes. I have had them assorted catalogs and they were un comfortable . I ordered black from the store and white from the Internet store and not any cheap place. Both pairs are equally comfortable. Stay with the best!

Shoes did not fit...sent them back

Very comfortable and true to size

I already had an ecru pair of this style. It was my constant shoe of choice because it gave me the support AND the comfort I needed. When there finally was a pair in black, I jumped on it so I had a "winter" shoe that could go anywhere and give me the comfort, plus support. The fit is excellent and they can pass as a dress shoe as they are solid black except for small silver embellishment on the heel.

I usually have good luck with New Balance. They are not the best looking shoes. This time I am feeling so sorry for buying this shoe. It is very difficult to buy shoes online.

Don't buy these shoes. I had to get a half size larger. I think that all New Balance shoes should have a roll bar in them. The shoes are so full of stuffing they don't leave room for a foot. They are very hard shoes. Don't like your big N on my shoes.

I was told by another company that the 577 was no longer available so I purchased the 813. Had to wait due to material availability. Was I disappointed. Then waiting on a replacement and credit to my CC. Calling and calling for months did no good. No one returned my calls and I had been using that company for years...but I will never go back. I called New Balance directly and explained what happened and they were very nice. I received the white pair, with a discount for my troubles. So grateful as I am back to my 577. YEAH!
