I have a arthritis in my foot so, per the podiatrist, I need to wear sturdy shoes. These shoes are sturdy but quite good enough in looks to wear for a little more upbeat activities/events. I had another pair just like these and they were really comfortable and last a really long time.

Mom loves them and keeps her 97 year old feet movin.

I can leave on till bedtime. Wish they had better colors for this paticular shoe.

I use them for my daily walk, they seem to be well made, waiting to see if they last.

I'm retired from a hospital profession. I'd worked there 15 years and always wore the New Balance 576 walking shoes. They were great work shoes! Now I'm retired and needed to replace my last pair, but I could not find the 576 anywhere on the website. After a visual search of the site, I came to the conclusion that they'd been replaced by these 577v1 walking shoes - same style, same tread - BINGO!!! It was like putting on my old 576 friends!!! I couldn't be happier!

I am a courier and need good walking shoes. NB walking shoes fill the bill.

I have bought these shoes for years and they never fail me. I have sensitive feet and also broke my knee and had two surgeries and these shoes always conformed. I do wish they had pretty colors, only black, biege and white.

Walking, working out. Very comfortable. However, my foot measures 61/2-7 W, I had to buy 71/2 EE to get the proper fit.

This shoe is just not made as well as the 990v5. The tongue was too short to adequately use the laces on the top holes of the shoes.

I bought this shoe because i could not find the style i had bought before. And i love it! i have very wide feet, and the xwide fit me perfectly! This is my 3rd purchase from New Balance and I am absolutely happy with the products I have purchased!

These are my favorite shoes, Comfortable from day1. I'm a senior and these new balance are great for walking. I feel steady & balanced wearing them. I'm saving up for another pair. Only thing I don't like is the shoelaces are way to long,54inches,had to buy 37 inches .

I love these shoes and have purchased these for many years now. Without them, I could not walk at all. I recommend these to anyone who wants to walk and has difficulty doing so. Good shoes make a big difference.

I have been wearing New Balance since I broke my ankle in 1996. They are the only shoe that I feel secure and comfortable in. They were very helpful during therapy also.. I gave up my other shoes and donated them after attempting to feel secure when walking. I'm on fixed income and find the current pricing a bit high. Disappointing is the fact that sale coupons at Major stores for card holders are not honored with New Balance purchases. Ordering by mail is not the best way to purchase shoes but it had to be done this time.

Super comfortable. I have narrow feet and so glad I found New Balance in narrow. The wide roe box keeps my toes from being cramped. These are my favorite tennis shoes. I wish they came in pastel colors.
