Leather uppers, rounded toes, and narrow width. They fit perfectly- no slipping at the heel, no rubbing on my ankle bone. Extremely comfortable! I buy 2 pairs at a time. Available in White and black.

This shoe looks nice and the velcro tabs to open are convenient. I usually get a 7ww or a 7 1/2ww. This was a 7 1/2 ww and I could not get my foot into it, so it was returned.

I always buy shoes from New Balance, but this is the first pair that I love so much, the great comfort on my feet it's just like walking on clouds ,it's so awesome that I am recommending them to my peers. These shoes so comfortable.. I just wish they had slip resistant in this style

Nice shoe but New Balance has skimped on the velcro closure which is too short if you need a wide shoe.
The NB 813, while costing $20 more with the velcro closure, fits significantly better.

I ordered a pair of New Balance #577 which has Velcro Straps instead of laces due to my wife's Arthritic hands. The first pair came and when she put them on the straps did not make contact to secure the hook & loops they were short by 2+ inches. So we returned them and ordered another pair. When the 2nd pair arrived the same problem with the straps being to short. So we returned them also and gave up, will look at local stores for a substitute shoes.

Oh, I wanted these shoes to fit SO badly, but the tongue is over 1/4 inch thick and no allowance was made to shoe where it was attached. That resulted in the area where tongue was attached in being terribly tight and shoes are impossible to wear.

I purchased these shoes and I am very disappointed with the tongue. I think the tongue is too long or too padded and hurt my feet at the bend (around the top of the foot). Very painful.

The strap is way too short and the uncovered velcro frays my pants and gets stuck on furniture covers. It also looks ugly not stretching far enough to cover the fastener as shown in the illustration
