This shoe is quite comfortable but looks "bulky" wish the top and sides were thinner to cut down on the bulky look. I've worn it working around our church and it felt great all day.

Length was OK. Width felt narrow for a wide width. Very sturdy sneaker. Ultra fast delivery.

This shoe needs longer hook and loop closures or an elasticized "eye" like the 813 has. I ordered a wide size and it feels a bit tight now, but, from past experience, it should stretch out a bit. For the price, it is a good shoe (as long as it doesn't begin to smell like cat pee somewhere down the road).

The velcro straps were not sewn on accurately (at an angle) but were still functional. Shoe is very comfortable for walking. Easy on and off, a plus.

The fit is fine. I also have them in white and beige so am accustomed to how they feel. Have only worn them once so will need to break them in. They do look like "old lady shoes" especially in the black but I can walk twice as far in these shoes as I can in other shoes so it is worth it. I have had two foot surgeries so I need comfortable walking shoes. Very good service from Zappos.

The shoe was just what I ordered. True to size and arch support, and thanks to the Velcro, they were wide enough, although if it weren't for the Velcro, I would have had to return them.

For a clunky sneaker, this would've been fine, except the tongue of the sneaker was too stiff and butted up against the front of my ankle. It was too painful and I had to send them back. Also, they did have a bit of an "old lady" style about them, which is fine if you're an old lady, but I'm not there quite yet. I was willing to put up with that if it wasn't for the stiffness of the sneak. I'm actually ordering the Vionic Dash now, as it looks like a much more flexible and softer sneaker.

The shoe is comfortable for walking and has a springy feel to the sole. The construction is a bit sloppy. The tabs for closure are stitched at an angle that looks peculiar.

Width on back of shoe is too wide. My foot slips up when walking. The tongue of shoe is too stiff and leaves marks on my ankles. I am returning these shoes.

I ordered an 8 and an 8 1/2. The 8 was the best fit but am returning both because the tongue rubbed the top of my foot. It is a well-padded shoe and the fit and comfort were good. I have thin feet so if you have a full foot order the W. Very good arch. Nice color. Would not handle much of an orthotic. This is my first shoe of this type and I hoped it would work. Although this shoe is cushy, stabilizing, and easy to get on, it didn't work for me because the tongue pressed into the front of my ankle. If not for the latter, I would have kept them despite their clunky look, so I reluctantly returned them.

This shoe is well-made, slips on easily, and flexes fine when I walk. The problem is the tongue stuck out too far! Pressed into my leg. Since that wasn't comfortable, I had to send these back.

Nice shoe but New Balance has skimped on the velcro closure which is too short if you need a wide shoe. The NB 813, while costing $20 more with the velcro closure, fits significantly better.
