Customer Reviews New Balance WW577 Hook and Loop

These are very comfortable shoes for walking. My only problem with them is that the tongue is a little uncomfortable on the top of my foot, so I slide it off-center a bit. Maybe that's just an individual thing.

I have used the Womens 577 tie up in white for years and years. This shoe is the most supportive shoe I can find for my right drop foot wrapped in Ace tape AND THE MOST STABLE. Sadly the past two or three years the 577 IS NOT MADE as stable as to the sole of the shoe. I'm not sure what has been changed. I've been a loyal customer for years and I'm sure you can check this concern and see what has changed. My last order as four pairs in the past two months in larger sizes in case my right foot swells. Before that quite a while, I order nearly a thousand dollars worth of 577 womens white tie up shoes in case New Balance quits making them or a negative uncomfortable change is made. A reply as to what was changed to make the sole less stable would be greatly appreciated. August 19th, 2020 5:10 PM California

I love New Balance shoes, but this particular pair bothers me where the tongue comes up on my front ankle joint. I wish the tongue were carved out a little more or didn't come up quite some high.

The shoes were great looking and well constructed, but did not have enough room for my toes, because they hurt when I tried to walk with them on carpets. So I had to return them.

Really like the shoe and I'm keeping it, but hope the straps stretch a little. I have really high arches and the straps are a little tight

I have only worn this sneaker four times so far, but they are comfortable. The only issue I have is that I purchased an 8 wide, and I think I should have gone with an 8 regular, but that's on me! I chose not to exchange them in case the 8 regular wouldn't have been wide enough! I power walk about one hour each day, and the only thing I find is that sometimes when I walk, the road/sidewalk scrapes the top of the sneaker. Not sure if this is because of the sneaker being a bit too wide and my foot not filled out completely, and/or the way I am walking in them! It is a solid sneaker which is what I was looking for, although it is not very fashionable! However, for me comfort is priority. I would recommend for comfort vs. looks!

I have drop foot and have an insert and wear a dorsi-strap. The shoe accommodates both exceptionally well and gives me the support I need.

I'm over 70 and like the young children need velcro. Walk daily and the shoes have plenty of room and support. Would love for them to come in other colors like black.

These walking tennis shoes look good. I originally purchased this shoe in my regular shoe size based on reviews but it was short and narrow so I returned them and brought a larger size. I've NEVER had to buy a wide width before. The new size fits well and has a nice arch. They are attractive and seem to be of good quality.

I'M VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE 'NB' BRAND. THE VELCRO FASTENER IS ABOUT 2 INCHES TO SHORT.

Strap across the top is to short, you can just about strap. House shoes only, good.

I like the shoes, but they are to white. Using for walking they get to dirty. Should have bought something with a little color.

It's hard to find sturdy walking shoes into which my Aetrex orthotic inserts fit comfortably, but these work almost perfectly. I got these in size 10 2E, but think the next width, if there is one, would have made these a perfect 5-star fit for me.

Most brand new shoe have to be "broken in." This pair felt comfortable right away.

Disappointed that the 2 Velcro straps is shorter Than on my older pairs.

I use this product daily (and I mean everyday of the year ) on a 2 to3 mile walk. They have held up very well. I really like the Velcro feature which is much faster than a tie sneaker. My other wish is that the heel had a little more support. I am inclined to heel spurs and a cushion under the heel is important. I have bought a heel support that is rather comfortable but not perfect for the job.

I walk a lot and these shoes are comfortable but the back is a little high and until they get warn in it rubs. But otherwise the shoes are great.

These shoes were a birthday gift for my mother. She loves the shoes and doesn't have to mess with tying her older new balance shoes. the shoes 9.5 and wide were a perfect fit.

The shoes fit well but I wish they had not designed the tongue to come so far up. I can't wear low cut socks with them.
