Customer Reviews New Balance WW577 Hook and Loop

I began wearing the Women's Walking shoes a number of years ago, for their stability and comfort. Due to some arch issues I had long before the New Balance shoes, I wear them with custom made orthotics at the direction of my podiatrist, and have had NO further foot problems. I bought the first hook and loop pair when I broke my arm 2 years ago, and since then have bought 4 more pairs.

I walk a lot with my dog, so that we get the exercise that we need. Very comfortable and stable shoe, the 577.

This shoe is easy to get on and fasten. They are very well cushioned and fits my hammertoe. The sole is a little squeaky at first but it wears in. They wash off dirt nicely after gardening. I like them!

Great shoes, very comfortable and love the easy on and off, no laces.

I am thrilled with my new 577 walking shoe with velcro straps! I have a polio crippled left leg and in my whole life (I am 81) I have never had a shoe that held my foot straight and gave me so much support and confidence in walking. It holds me tightly but comfortably and I walk so much better. The straps are so much better than laces. I thank your designers so much for their thoughtful designing! I have been wearing New Balance crossover, running and walking shoes for several years and this one is the best because of the Velcro closure. I have tried other brands and always end up with hip and knee pain until I go back to New Balance. I will be getting a black pair soon if they are still available.

My wife lost a big toe years ago. The only shoe she can wear for any time is New Balance. We searched every where for a pair with velcro. The only one we found was on your site. It was on sale. I purchased one just like it yesterday for myself, (male). It is one of the best walking shoes I've worn.

I purchased the Hook & Loop 577's and they are God-Like. These will be the only shoes I wear for the rest of my life, I have the White, Black, and Tan shoes. I rate them 11/10, they're so comfortable and fit great on my foot. Don't waste your time on the regular 577's, you need to get the Hook and Loop with it. It is so easy to get on and off. Your feet will be thanking you later, Trust me.

Have had several pairs of the 577 in the black and bone and have not found a shoe I liked better.

These shoes fit well and are very durable. I like the velcro for the convenience but need to find a way to manage the uncovered portion. I will purchase a third time if they are available.
