I have purchased New Balance since they were recommended by my podiatrist years ago. No more heel spurs! Unfortunately this brand is hard to find at my local stores, so I rely on mail order direct from the company and have never had a problem with it.

This is the only shoe I have found that prevents my back problems.

Fits like a glove, comfortable, long lasting. Doesn't rub the back of the heels which is a must. Fits my high arch comfortably. Have been buying these shoes for years and will continue to do so!

I have 2 pair of the 577s in white tie shoes. I wear one in the house and keep one for outdoors. They are great for support and have relieved leg pains I was having. My physical therapist recommended them to me and I've use NB ever since. These shoes in wide give my feet enough room in the toe box so my toes aren't squished. I exchange the insoles for Protalus insoles for the extra support I need.

I love this walking shoe - they are always a perfect fit - so comfortable and durable! I have been wearing New Balance shoes for many years, and will continue to purchase these high quality shoes, and at such a reasonable price! I have happy feet!

Easy on and off with what my Mom calls 'idiot straps' Velcro closers. I love them. The shoes also come wide enough of my feet...just slide them on and start walking, not much 'break in time' I do put a better insole in them, one my foot Dr. recommended.

I wear these shoes everyday for comfort and walking

I am a birder and do a lot of walking/hiking, especially in the summer. I was born with club feet. I cannot compromise on footwear. These shoes have good support and good fit.

Previously I have been getting Brooks walkers I need a walking shoe NB was given to me as another type of shoe I could wear. I absolutely love them I would purchase these again.

I love this shoe. First the style in black leather will pass for casual office shoes with pants. Yes, as one other reviewer stated, they are a bit stiff, but they give plenty of support. The fit is perfect for my 10.5 AA foot. Toe box has plenty of room and shoe is snug enough that my foot doesn't slide down and bang my toes into the end of the shoe. Mine are the lace up version. I would probably like the Velcro version just as well once I get past the idea of wearing shoes with fasteners favored by the very young and the aging. Just my vanity talking, I guess.
