I have a small, narrow foot, and it's really difficult to find a fit in sneakers. These work! I especially like the full toe box, which I feel is better for my feet--no rubbing. This sneaker is stiff at first and a bit hard to break in. I had to order 1/2 size larger.

I'm not sure what the specific difference is but I have another pair of WW577's only with Velcro and they fit like a dream. These with laces fit okay, just not quite like a dream. I can wear these for 2 or 3 hours before my diabetic neuropathy starts to kick in and I have to get out of these shoes and off my feet immediately. My Velcro pair I can wear for 5 or 6 hours and almost live a semi-normal life (for a retired senior). I think the difference might be that the heel is ever so slightly wider in these lace up NB's so my heels don't get quite as much support...we're talking millimeters and fractions of millimeters of difference here, not miles...and the width difference is only in the heels. If I hadn't found the WD's with Velcro I would most likely be gushing with praise for these lace up WD577's. They are that good.

I have high arches. Sizing for my orthotics, 1/2 size larger than my regular size, was fine. Large toe box good. Good cushioning. Return because soles too stiff for my feet.

These shoes are great for being on your feet all day. They have lasted through several 12 hour shifts and at least one 16 hour shift. Great for nurses!

I like this shoe, but it should come with a better footbed, I had to buy a pair of inserts for better cushioning & support. This is a good walking shoe, & I like that it comes in a wide width.

My previous work shoes were getting worn down on the soles, which made them uncomfortable to walk in, so I asked one of my friends what type of work shoes he thought would be good for me. He suggested getting some New Balances, so I decided to try these out. They're kind of bulky-looking, but they keep my feet comfy during long shifts when I don't get to sit down.

Run small. Ordered my usual size, 8M, and had to return it. Nice looking shoe. Will order an 8.5!

I really wanted to love these shoes, they are made in the US and I love the pure white color. However they rub my feet a bit, I have a bunion, because I had read other reviews of other people with bunions and they said these shoes accomodated their bunion. Probably just my weird feet and they may get more comfortable as I wear them in.

The leather like tongue is very awkward and uncomfortable.

Heel sliding, still tight even though I ordered wide width!

The WW577, through no fault of its own, simply did not fit my feet. My feet are very wide and in poor shape and this particular shoe hurt. I think it would be a nice shoe for others who don't have so many foot problems.

My last pair of shoes were a 6.5B. My feet have been swelling so I ordered a 7D. I can't get my feet into the shoes.

These shies were stiff and somewhat uncomfortable. I may have tried breaking them in since they are waterproof which is what I am looking for but the left shoe squeaked when I walked.

I order New Balance because I need Narrow width. Unfortunately even with my added orthotic arch support the heel still slipped. These had to be returned. Thanks for your great return policy!

Arch support was not where I needed it. I have very wide feet. The shoes were “heavy” on my feet.

I have a pair of these in black that are the wide width and they fit perfectly. However the new white ones seem way too big for my feet. I put them on from time to time in the house to be sure I can't wear them. Unfortunately, I just can't. I must return them.

I had to return these. They generally fit ok, but when laced all the way up there was not enough give where the shoe met the front of my ankle. I would have had to not lace the last eyelets and that would have caused the shoe to slip.

The fit and size were good. However, I found the shoe to be orthopedic looking and not at all attractive. I would never wear them, so I'm returning them.

feel too tight

The shoes size fits me well. However, the shoes are too hard materials. I don't feel comfortable wearing it.

Toe box was great, shoes were too big for my narrow heels, had to return.

I used to wear for 20 years their 8 N but it is now to small in the toe region . The 8.5 N does not fit . When you go up a size a 2AA in an 8 becomes like an A in an 8 and this is two wide even with my spencos . So a 8.5 is two wide but just right in the toe box . This is a problem for shoes are not available in a slim. Even with the narrow lady tieing technique the shoes are not fitting well. So will have to go looking for hiking sox . My high arch spencos help but my shoe is two wide even and will add another cheap shoe inserts with the spencos.
