I have had several pairs of these shoes. They are my "go everywhere" shoe. They're not "stylish," but I care more about comfortable and durable. These are both. I am overweight and have feet that swell over the course of the day -- I wear a 9W b/c of the swelling, and these shoes stay comfortable all day. Totally recommended.

I have a narrow foot with a high arch and have just bought a home with tile floors. I needed support and cushioning. And a shoe that would take my orthotic. I ordered the narrow size and it was perfect without giving up stability. The heel fits nicely especially due to extra shoe lace holes near the ankle. Arch support is normal in this shoe in my opinion, so my orthotic was still needed. Either an orthotic from my podiatrist or one from Good Feet work well. The cushioning around the heel and on the tongue is fabulous. The toe box is not too high and round. What relief for my outer toes! No rubbing anywhere. Since they are Medicare approved I was worried they would look like grandma shoes. But I'm very happy with them and I have big feet. On sizing: in Brooks I would have to order a size ten to make room for my outer toes, so it was otherwise too long. In this shoe I ordered a size 9.5 narrow because the toe box was more round instead of tapered to the big toe from the side. Walking in them is a joy from day one. I walk about a mile a day. Also this shoe was quite a bit less than other shoes I was considering. Good value.

I absolutely love New Balance! New Balance rules! I have been wearing this brand since 1975 as they were the only ones to offer AA or Narrow widths, at that time anyway. I have continued loving them all, including this model, the WW577 in black. They are super comfortable, plain yet attractive, and my orthotics just slid right in! I feel like I am walking on air or not walking at all! You cannot go wrong to buy a sturdy pair of walking or workout shoes, like this pair. I wear them walking and to Zumba classes. I wear them all the time!

I have problems with my feet swelling and I am able to get away with wearing sneakers to work by wearing an all white shoe. I love the way they fit. My feet love the way they feel. I am able to keep them bright white by only wering them to work and avoiding wearing them in the rain. They last a long time. Good shoe for a fair price.

This pair of walking shoes are true to size. They are so comfortable yet very supportive. Just love them. Did a lot of research before I ordered.

This shoe was an excellent choice for me. It has the right structure and support for my high arch and plantar fasciitis. I don't have to wear my orthotics insert with this shoe. I bought it in white and black. This is the first black sneaker I've worn, and I like it.

The shoes are wonderful, but I have a lot of foot problems and I just couldn't get these to work. I have bunions, hammertoes and I need very cushy shoe bottoms, which these didn't have, and the toe box isn't large enough for my problems. I haven't found any shoes that work yet.

This is a great all around shoe. It didn't require any breaking in. It's light weight and very comfortable for walking long distances. Best of all, it comes in narrow sizes!

I have trouble with my feet and since I am going to Italy I needed a comfortable shoe to wear for sightseeing. I purchase these sneakers and they did the trick. I was very comfortable. I would recommend them.

I have another pair that are wearing out so decided to purchase another pair. I have been very satisfied with Zappos New Balance shoes. I have a narrow foot (2aa) so was hesitant to purchase shoes online without trying them on. Your shoes are true to size and half the price I was paying at the local New Balance store.

I buy a new pair every year for the generous toe box and great heel support. I take out the insole and use my own for arch support. I had reconstructive ankle surgery nearly 10 years ago and shoes start to hurt when the heel breaks down. NB shoes actually last about 1 year, for me, in that regard. Far longer than all the rest.

Great fit. I have numerous foot problems and these really are wide widths. Very comfy and room for orthotics. Zappos free shipping both ways is excellent way to get right fit!

Warm and comfortable for my high arch, wide (wedge-shaped) toes with high big toe. The LS2 last is perfect for me.

I am totally enjoying this shoe.I needed a pair of good shoes for a retreat where I would be standing for hours at a time. This shoe was the perfect choice. I was able to do all I needed to for 3 days in comfort. They clean up easily. I have a wide foot and this style didn't made it look like "Big Foot" was coming through.

I have bought three pairs of these shoes over the years. I have a high arch, narrow heel, and somewhat wide foot. The fit is great. I walk 25 miles a week and find these shoes to be very comfortable and supportive.

These sneaker were for my 78 year old grandmother, she is very picky about sneakers and needs a wide shoe. She absolutely loved these and said the were very comfortable.

This is my second pair of this particular shoe. It gives good support, and fits well. I like that it's all black; even though it is a bit 'clunky', I can wear it to work and not scream that I'm wearing an athletic shoe.

I have worn these shoes for the past few years, mostly worn for my daily walks of 2.5-3.5 miles. They wear well, and feel comfortable and supportive to my feet. I do wear my own orthotic inside. Have had bunion and hammertoe surgeries in the past, the wider toe box works very well for me!

Love them. Feel great. Sturdy. Supportive. I went with my practice of getting Merrell's a half size larger. I wear a 61/2 and got a 7.

Very comfortable shoes. I ordered a half size bigger just to try it out and they fit perfectly. I work on my feet 8 hours a day in a retail position and i only wear new balance. And i only buy shoes from Zappos because of their return policy.

This is my first Zappos purchase and my first pair of New Balance sneakers. I LOVE these shoes. This is the first time I've ever gotten a new pair of footwear that fit perfectly and are 100% comfortable right out of the box! I usually need a "break in" period to reach my comfort level. These are great! The only (miniscule) downside is that the REAL leather squeaks like real shoes. None of that cheap, plastic-like, man made material. I can live with that. A little leather conditioning cream should fix that. I'm 100% happy with my purchase and look forward to shopping Zappos again.
