This is amazing. I currently have these shoes on. Recently I had an injury in my left leg which requires me to do physical therapy. I was looking for a perfect fit of shoes to stand in. These are not expensive. You should catch them when you can. They are always out of stock.

I love these shoes! I had another pair of New Balance shoes that have velcro on them and they're so comfortable so I ordered this pair to wear for work. They fit perfectly and were so comfortable to wear from the moment I put them on. I would highly recommend these shoes and Zappos. I will keep buying my shoes from Zappos.

The speed in which you receive your package is truly unbelievable. I absolutely do not want to pay for shipping in the first place and then with Zappos, I get my package in 1 day. No extra charge. This was my second choice of walking shoe that worked. With my flat feet widening, plantar fasciitis from not wearing my foot orthotic inserts, I had to purchase these shoes, not for amazing style but for pain free comfort. I went from my usual 9½ to 10 to allow the orthotic insert comfortably, and chose double EE wide. The Toe box is adequate and for me, it is not a heavy shoe like Brooks but not really a light shoe like Abeo. I believe it is important to switch off and on with other shoes for walking, a light or heavier shoe depending on the walk. It does not need breaking in but I do recommend a lighter sock. As always kudos to Zappos for immediate one day delivery and efficient exchange via phone.

These are great shoes! I have plantar fasciitis and bone spurs in my heels. I wear these shoes and diabetic shoe liners, and have had no pain for years.

I walked two miles on a track the first morning I put these on and had no problems at all. I have bunions so get the wide size and am always happy with New Balance. I walk three miles every day so wear them out in a about a year. When the heels begin to wear down I replace them with the same brand. This is probably my eighth year wearing New Balance walking shoes.

I've been wearing this style for a number of years. This is my first in black for a PT job I am taking. Comfortable, roomy toe, durable.

These are not pretty shoes. My son asked if I was wearing dad's shoes. I do not care, because my feet hurt. These shoes are comfortable, very, but go with the half size larger. The 9M was perfect on my normally 8½M. They have a nice wide toe box. The shoe strings are way too long if, like most, you are only using the first five (of seven) eyelets. I bought a pack of 48" strings that are the right length for five eyelets. The shoes do squeak. Yep, leather tongue rubbing on leather upper. That could be annoying in a quiet museum, as one lady noted. My feet hurt. If I feel so inclined, I can fix the squeak. Maybe a thin strip of self-sticking moleskin on the outer edges of the tongue. I need a shoe to walk in that does not rub, or cramp my toes. I want to enjoy the walk.

The shoes were great, just a little too large for me. I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 and tried the 8 1/2 first. Will exchange for size 8 W.

They're not beautiful but they look fine with a pair of jeans. They are very comfortable even when standing on concrete for 8 hours.

These are great dependable shoes. I have worn them for years. They are very supportive and comfortable. They are also durable. My physical therapist looked at them and said they were great shoes. I need a more generous toe box than most women's shoes offer; these are perfect.

These shoes are very comfortable. I have severe osteoarthritis and need a shoe that is 'un-fleaxible" and solid. this shoe fits that

My feet have changed, and I was desperate for a new pair of walking shoes. I tried on numerous pairs from everywhere conceivable, and these were the only ones that really hit the mark. I wear orthotics over the inner soles and they work well. I'm so relieved to have finally found a pair of walking shoes! Service from Zappos was fantastic, as always!

I have a AA width foot and finding sneakers to fit is difficult. New Balance is the only one I found to make a leather walking shoe in my width. Over all this brand runs shorter so I buy a 1/2 size larger but since this is a consistent factor, it is not an issue. My only complaint is the blandness of the shoe. It is all white and clinical looking. I wish New Balance and other brands made more choices for those of us with narrow feet. I love shoes but my purchasing is limited by width and often price. This shoe is a good value and I would buy more if it had more colorful styling.
