My son was so eager for me to get this backpack. I thought it was fine but didn't appreciate how great it was until I used it on a trip. Everything is just where I needed it. It is comfortable to wear, good-looking and super useful. I love it

I love the backpack. It is light and efficient, but it never came with the wallet that I paid for so for that I'm disappoint.

Love this bag. Just the right size for a small number of items for day hikes, and I can fit even a 32 oz bottle in the side pocket. The bag is solid and feels well made. My only complaint would be that the adjustable clasp on the strap rubs on the underside of my arm as I walk. I'm going to have to wrap it with something.

Love this day pack! It has been on many hikes from Mountsins of North Carolina to trails in Alaska. It is lightweight and comfortable. It can carry two water bottles and I even attach my trekking pole to it. I would surely purchase it again!

I love this pack for day hiking & biking! It worked great in Acadia National Park when I hiked mountains that required food, map, medication/first aid, pullover, and two 24 ml water bottles. I also carried drawing & weaving stuff that I used along the shores of Acadia and appreciated the waterproof construction. I like having water bottles in outside bottom pockets but know that you can't reach them with the pack on due to it being a smaller pack. The material of construction is all high quality and seems to be the same quality as larger packs. The number of compartments (2 large compartments w/multiple pockets) worked well in organizing my stuff. I look for the straps to hold up well over time. The zippers are of high quality as well. There are a few extra pockets & straps with hooks. Like all Osprey packs, it is built with good ergonomic structure to keep the weight from pulling downward. I had wished that the belt was padded a bit like the shoulder straps but that didn't end up making a difference in comfort. The waste strap was fine. I liked the additional chest strap. I struggle with low back pain and had no issues caused by the pack. It was fully comfortable & functioned well. For those of you who like prints & unique colors, I purchased the Magnolia Print in Jubilee Blue. The blue is kind of a slate muted blue. It's pretty & fun! They had other colors & prints I considered too. If you backpack alone, this pack is not large enough for overnight trips. I also think it's not quite large enough for today's high school/college students who carry at least 3 books, notebooks, computer, & backpack. It may be fine for elementary students if their 3-ring binder fits.

Great product, comfortable on the back, great price for value, lots of places to attach things like carabiners, helmets, water bottles, sturdy. Keep it close, my family has had to buy 4 since we all kept stealing the only one!

It's a gift for my wife. The Daylite looks great, is lightweight, has good space for ocassional hiking and perfect to be a secondary backpack for camping for us (small stuff).
Pretty good constructed. That's what we need in our location.

I purchased this bag earlier this week after being on the lookout for one for awhile. I found it small at the start but there is lots of room for a jacket, drinks, and lots more.

Osprey nails all the details in this simple daypack. I've used one of these for the past decade or so - hiking, biking, trail work days, outdoor concerts, travel, and days at the park with kids. Love the simple, functional design - very comfortable carry, great zippered pockets, good weight and capacity for day use, and pretty durable. I also like the fact the hydration reservior is not in the main compartment with my gear - protects against leaks and leeaves more room for gear in the main compartment. Highly recommended!

The backpack is great for my use--short walk to work. I do have to say that I ordered the Stone Grey, but to me it looks more like a shade of green. The color is hard to distinguish online, so I'm not sure if they sent me the wrong color. Does anyone else think the Stone Grey looks like a shade of green?

Really wonderful smaller size backpack, but it's not white, it's light grey - which is very nice.

This bag is great for what it was designed for! I dont understand the negative reviews. This is an add-on bag that attaches to a main backpack. It carries a hydration bladder perfectly. Those are not water bottle holders on the outside - they are meant to stash small items you need access throughout the day - like snacks or a bandana. It's lightweight and rugged. I've used mine a lot for over 2 years and it still looks like new. I wear it daily during summer as a daypack (I'm a summer camp director) and 2-3 weekends a month it goes camping with me (Boy Scout and Girl Scout camping trips - about half of those it's used as the added on bag it was made to be).
I love the small pocket on front because small stuff like knife, lighter, and headlamp don't get lost amid other things and can be retrieved quickly.

This is a nice fit for petite people. The bag is huge in functional size. Can get a ton in it. chest and hip strap keep it on you while hiking or just chasing kids. My only complaint is the slash side mesh pocket, iPhone will stay in, but some drinks won't. A kids sippy cup falls right out when leaning over. contigo stainless steel slender falls out. but I think the wide ones stay in because the stretchy part hugs the containers.

Terrific day pack. I utilized the pack for a trip where I would be doing a mix of urban and rural trekking. I needed a pack to hold camera bits and bobs and a jacket/sweater. This pack fit the bill and I especially like the light color which won't absorb heat as much as the darker colors offered by Osprey. I plan on getting the hydration insert for future use in travel and skiing. I was originally concerned that the side pockets would not be conducive to holding a water bottle, but I had no issues.

Love this pack. It's the perfect size for a day hike. I love the padded back panel; it keeps the pack from resting on my back...the added 'air space' keeps me from getting to sweaty and hot. Love that it has space for a water bladder and still could get jackets, snacks in the big pocket and phone, ID and smaller items in front pocket. Perfect pack for me. Highly recommend.

I am a guide and have used this pack every day for 2 years. It's fantastic! It holds all the essentials I need for a day at work and fits comfortably on my back and shoulders. I can easily fit a .75L or a 1L CamelBak bottle in the side pockets easily without them sliding out. My biggest disappointment about my pack is that after 2 years of constant use it has faded slightly...but I guess that's understandable with the hours it's spent in the sun.
