Very nice pack for the price. I'm 5'10" and reasonably slender, and it conforms to my back well without rubbing, pulling or pinching. The straps allow a lot of leeway in adjusting it, and the color is attractive, a bit softer than it looks in the photo. My only complaint is that the material isn't completely sturdy. I've had several threads pull loose, especially around the zipper, after only a couple of light uses. This may not be an ongoing problem. I'll have to use it longer to tell for sure. Otherwise, a great little pack and exactly what I wanted.

Backpack is quite a bit smaller than it looks in the picture. The blue is a darker shade of blue than picture suggests. The tags say "Men's"... I'm not sure if it's designed for men, but the Zappos product description did not indicate this. May not be an issue, but women's backpacks have a slightly different design. Overall, it's a smaller backpack than expected, but may just end up being the perfect size for my hiking endeavors! Thanks Zappos!

I have had this pack for about 5 years now and I absolutely love it. Works great for everything from short day hikes, to traveling, exploring various sites and musuems. Allows me to carry some snacks, binoculars, clothes, various gear for camping and hiking, whatever I may need for whatever adventure I go out that day for. I have also used it for cycling to carry a change of clothes, extra water, food, misc. gear. This is the perfect goto bag for doing whatever. not bulky, not heavy, super durable and incredibly comfortable even when completely stuffed with gear. easy to adjust so if your in a t shirt or a bulky jacket in seconds its fitting securely and comfortably. The side pockets for water bottles work great , have used bottles as simple as store bought plastic water bottles( Poland spring , etc. ) to 20oz insulated kleen canteen bottles with no worries.

First I will start the review by telling people to ignore a lot of the bad reviews on here. All those people complaining about water bottles falling out the side pockets bought the wrong bag. They are not water bottle pockets. This is a hydration day pack designed to attach to your main pack. If you are not going to use a hydration bladder then buy a bag with side pockets designed for water bottles. Bought an osprey 2.5 LT bladder and it fits perfectly in my main pack and this. My only minor complaint is the hip belt could be a bit bigger but if you use it how it is intended then it is fine. If you want a nice lightweight bag that can attach to you main pack and intend to use a bladder then buy this pack. If you want something with more features then buy a talon or tempest.

This is my second daylite, they have improved the design - the bottle pockets are taller so bottles don't fall out now, and the tubing inside (that commonly broke out of its casing) has been replaced by a different design. Better

Very useful and light Daylitr bag for daily use.

Excellent service. Thank you so much. Your people are such a joy to work with. However the product zipper has a latent defect that has not been corrected. The zipper doesn't hold up. Only lasts about a year then the cloth part of zipper goes bad. I've returned daylite many times. While I appreciate the all might guarantee, it's still a hassle to continue this process. But, I'm with Osprey. Just letting you know because you asked. All the best. J heal.

I use my backpack for work and I work in center city Philadelphia. It's perfect for work! It helps me not carry too much and it's comfortable on my back and fits my Hydroflask water bottle. Highly recommend!

Daylite backpack is perfect size , weight and comfort for carrying supplies for a day of hiking, walking or tourism. Osprey customer service and their All Mighty Guarantee is fabulous.

My wife got me this backpack for Father's Day last year, and it's been my main pack for carrying my essentials for work, day hikes, and I have even done some trail runs with it. I absolutely love it; it is the perfect versatile bag for almost any use.

Really love this little Osprey Daylite. It has 2 handy elasticated drinks bottle pockets, a front zippered pouch for wallet, phone, small snacks and a decent size main sack to stuff in a warm layer or waterproof. I use it for carrying my drone and other cameras. Love it.

Love it. Compact and spacious at the same time. Exactly right for everyday and daytime walks.

Love it!!! I have used it every weekend. It had enough room for the essentials, light weight look at these features it has. My husband has Parkinson, it gives me the freedom to help him and have everything we need because of the front clasp. It isn't easy to find a day pack that gives an caregiver security that you have what you need and the freedom to take care of your loved one. It would be fantastic for moms also, great baby shower gift. I did..

This is one pack I keep grabbing when on day trips. I like the size because it's easy to handle inside crowded trains in Japan. It also look pretty cool. It also can fit surprising amoun't of stuff. Really happy customer, Thank you

My daughter has the daylight Jr and I got stuck caring it for the last bit of a hike so decided to get my own! It's such good quality and I love how durable it is. Also the color choices are amazing! All 3 of us have osprey back packs for hiking
