i selected this jacket because i go to school in a very rainy climate and needed a light jacket for those rainy fall and spring days. i love it so much! its the perfect weight, adjustable at the bottom and keeps me dry. so happy i chose this jacket and would recommend it to anyone! plus it comes in so many great colors!

I love this jacket. It's lined yet not too heavy. I ordered a medium (usually wear a small) because I wanted a little extra room. This jacket might run a little small but I think the medium fits perfect.

Jacket has no lining, so more of a wind breaker. It fit my mom perfect, she is 5'2" and weighs about 120. I got her a medium. Shipping was fast!

I received the North Face the exact day. I absolutely love it...it was worth the money and I plan on buying another jacket or two from Zappos.

My 14 yr old daughter wanted this coat for her birthday. I got the small even though according to the size chart she should have taken an extra-small. I'm glad I got the small. She's 5'1", 92 lbs and it fits perfect. The coat is not very long. As you can see on the model, it does not even cover the hips. So if you're looking for a longer rain jacket, don't buy this one. The hand pockets are just made of a mesh material and don't seem very durable. Also, there are no interior pockets which would have been nice for cell phone placement. I normally would not have paid this much for a basic rain jacket, but my daughter asked for this coat by name for a gift. I definitely would not have bought this for myself because of the points made above.

This is really great to have! Water resistant! I would buy one size up if you plan to have on a little bit of clothes underneath.

I bought this for a cruise to Alaska's inside passage in August, which is an area known for rain. This worked great because it was comfortable worn over a t-shirt or over my northface thermoball jacket when it was colder. I did not get wet at all, even when it was pouring outside.

This jacket is awesome. It looks so great on, it's lightweight, packs wonderfully and the quality is top notch. It is well worth the money.

I bought this jacket for a backpacking trip through Europe in late winter/early spring. It kept me dry every day and, as it fits a bit roomy, is surprisingly warm with a fleece or second jacket underneath. Very flattering cut! Thanks North Face and Zappos.

Great jacket! I'm 5'10", 130 lbs, and I bought a small. The length and fit are perfect, and the sleeves are long enough! The color is nice and bright, too. Very happy with this purchase.

Very good all weather jacket. It's kind of dressy, so you can wear it with about everything. The material is high quality. I would say is warmer than breathable, but that's perfect for me. I'm 5'7' 120 pounds and a size S fits perfectly.

I am 5'8", 130 lbs, with fairly long arms, and a small fit great. I was pleased that the arms were long enough, as that's usually my concern. I wouldn't be able to layer heavily enough for winter underneath, but I wasn't looking for that, and I can fit a sweatshirt or similar. I tried on the medium, and that would have worked if I had wanted to be able to layer more, but it looked too big on me without layers underneath.

I am returning it because the right pocket has two fabric defects with small holes. Did they send me a used jacket!? Otherwise it is a fine jacket!

I love this raincoat! It keeps me dry, the color is vibrant, and it is so comfortable. The only downside is that the hood is quite large, and covers my face.

Runs small! If you want to wear anything under besides a t-shirt, go one size up.
