North Face makes great, functional rain gear. The North Face Resolve Jacket is very flattering... combine this with great and functional and you have a winning jacket. I bought this in white because I walk a lot at sunset and it helps to keep me visible. This keeps the wind out, the rain out, and it comes up nicely around my neck to keep me warm. I hope they keep on making this as I would like to get this in other colors.

I love that TNF truly has a feminine fit. I ordered this jacket in Seafoam Green mainly because it was the only color available in my size (medium) for the sale price. The green is much prettier in person, it's bright but not too bright. And the purple accents well. I'm now wanting to order this jacket in a different color so that I have 2! I can definitely see this jacket becoming my new best friend. The Northface has never disappointed me! For reference I am 5' 7" and 140. I normally wear a medium and I ordered in a medium as well. Fits true to size with just enough room for a light fleece underneath.

I love this jacket. I got it to go with my green Hunter rain boots and it looks awesome. Perfect fit and very lightweight so I will be able to wear it in the rainy summer, too.

Good jacket, bought for our daughter who is 6ft, runs a little small, might want to order size larger. Over all... Good jacket! Daughter is happy, and is warm.

This is a solid rain jacket. It is lightweight and thin. I would size up if you plan to layer up underneath. It is tough to find this style - you usually either get a jacket that fits like a trash bag or a jacket that is too short and rides up - the fit on this jacket is great!

The last one of these jackets I purchased last me 10 years. I wore it constantly. It battles wind, rain and cold when layered over a sweatshirt. It can be squished to the size of a softball so it travels wonderfully. I truly love this jacket and I'm excited for the next 10 years of adventures it will bring.

This is a gift for my 40 year old daughter. She loves the style but has not had a chance to wear it in the rain yet.

This is the perfect lightweight, windbreaker/wet weather jacket. Ordered it for my granddaughter and she loves it. Just note, it is fitted and if you want to be able to wear a sweater underneath, order one size up.

Looks great! Slimming silhouette and very flattering. Light enough for summer, and will layer well in fall. As always, Zappos makes it extremely easy to order more than one size and style to try on at home to make the decision.

Reviews with sizes helps me so here goes. I am 5'1", 130 pounds, a DD chest and purchased a small. The jacket is lightweight, gives a feminine shape and allows layering. The quality and fit are exactly what I was looking for.

This is really cute and practical. I measure 36 inches across the chest and hips, and decided to order the medium. My daughters ordered the small last year, so I tried it on and realized that it would be a bit snug with a sweater or fleece. The medium still looked reasonably fitted. I liked the shorter length of this resolve jacked over other North Face items because I usually wear a petite. With a medium, the bottom hem fell a bit below the model in the picture, but I still did not feel that it was way too long. Looks sharp over NF rain pants.

This is a nice light weight raincoat that is stylish and attractive. I bought it for my daughter, and she has yet to try it in the rain but it looks like it will be perfect for rainy days. The coat seems to run true to size.

Love this coat! Flattering fit though the sleeves could be an inch shorter but maybe I have shorter arms than most? I still love it though. I have not worn this in the rain yet but I'm sure it'll be great.

I love this jacket. I got it in the magenta color and it is so pretty. I needed a large. I'm 5'10.5 in and weigh 170 lbs.

So I've always found that the North Face brand runs small and this followed that general rule. I typically wear a medium and the large fits pretty close to perfectly. It's not a fitted jacket by any means, but it's a good layering piece and it breathes well. I potentially could have fit the medium in the shoulders, but the hips would have made it a no go. I wear an 8 on bottom and a 6 on top for reference. It hasn't rained since I bought this, but I can't wait to take it out for a spin!

I was looking for something I could wear in cool and rainy weather, which could go with anything from jeans to dress pants. The grey color is really very nice and goes well with many colors. My husband had actually said to me that he thought it was the best looking women's jacket he has ever seen. That said a lot! It feels and looks great on.

I absolutely love this rain jacket. I wanted something very light for summer that doubled as a windbreaker and didn't seem like something I would feel silly wearing when it wasn't raining. It is going to function well for each of those uses. The fit is excellent and doesn't constrict me anywhere, but the Allabout which I also purchased for comparison was uncomfortably tight across the back and not as flattering. I got the black and hot pink which is SO cute and feminine. I especially like the Velcro strip closures over the zipper and the hood design. This is probably the first TNF hood that fits completely over my head and when zipped up holds it in place and looks exactly as it's depicted in the images - your entire head is fully protected and your face peeks out. And I don't look like a dork for once when I wear it that way! It is also extremely easy to slip the hood in the collar and get it evenly placed so that the collar stands up on its own and looks very nice, not bumpy, and a hidden Velcro closure holds the hood inside. Finally the arms are a great length and it has a drop hem in the back to offer a little more coverage. I didn't wear it own in the rain yet however I am sure it will fare lots better than my fleece Denali!

The jacket is not a fitted jacket. I ordered medium and am 5 feet tall and weigh 124 lbs. I definitely can wear a big sweater underneath and it still not tight. I could have used a small but will keep it as I can wear it later during the year. I like fabric and it is well made all all North Face items.

I bought this jacket to wear as a casual rain coat for weekends and every day wear, and could not be happier with my purchase! The color is exactly how it looks in the picture, bright green, perfect for spring/cool summer nights. The shape is very flattering, very feminine and not too boxy. I also had a chance to wear it when it was downpouring rain outside and it did keep me dry and warm. It is very light weight, so I would only recommend wearing this jacket in 50s and 60s, although I was able to keep warm when I layered it with a fleece jacket underneath in 40 degree weather. This is such a great jacket, I get so many compliments on it! They also sell this jacket at Nordstrom online for roughly the same price, but I went with Zappos because the shipping was faster and free!

I bought this jacket hoping that it would allow me to keep my hair from getting messed up on a rainy day and it is awesome! It keeps every bit of me dry from waist up! I get so many compliments on this jacket too! It fits well and is very comfortable too! I love this jacket! I think it is the perfect rain jacket! So happy!

Awesome rain coat as most have reported. It is softer than the typical crinkly rain coat and when it is zipped all the way to the top, the area around chin and neck is soft and doesn't scratch. That is important to me. The velcro swatches by zipper allow for you to close up jacket a bit if your hands are full and you can't zip it up in the moment. The draw string is nice and pulls the coat in tight when it's windy out or just cold. I do wish there was a zip up breast pocket on the inside like a lot of men's coats have. I got the light gray and orange. It is beautiful. Highly recommend.

Really great jacket! Fits me perfectly. I am 5'2 113lbs and I am still able to layer it with a jacket.
