Wear to the beach and in the water walking over oyster shells. Light weight in water and easy to walk with. Dry easily.

These sandals are really comfortable and are great to wear for casual wear or for the beach. You can wear them just about anywhere and they will be fine. They are fun and very comfortable.

I am still breaking in the straps - they are very stiff to start with.

Sadly I can't wear my new Teva's, they are hard on my arthritic knees. Do you have anything that has a softer footbed?

I love Hurricanes. I own about 10 pairs in various colors. I have several observations to make: 1. My original Hurricanes purchased in 2002 have more arch support than those purchased more recently. (More arch support is better.) 2. I fit in both kid's size 6 and women's 8. The main difference is that the webbing across the toes on the kid's 6 goes all the way across to the other side whereas the women's 8 falls about 1 inch short. This makes the women's 8 not look as nice as they could (I can only get all black in women's 8.) I wish the women's 8 toe webbing was about 1 inch longer.

Fits great. Webbing looks a little frayed.

Top strap on left foot hurts the top of my foot. Kind of digs in somewhat, but probably is my foot's fault. Right foot is ok. Even so, I really like the looks of these. Comfortable otherwise.

Love sandal. Small problem where strap meets ankle. I have narrow foot...yet these fit great overall.

I finally got a new pair of Teva sandals after 6 years! I still wear the old ones when doing chores on the farm, they are so comfortable. I just had to get a new "nice looking" pair though for going out. I am very happy that Teva didn't change a great product over the years.

Other than mild chafing at the straps, the Hurricane XLT works great for me.

Where the buckle meets the strap should have a built in pad on it. I do get a sore spot. I have other TEVA sandels (not Hurricane XLT) that have pads. I wear them more then any other.

just got these for my daughter to wear to summer camp - great fit and straps are easy to adjust, very comfortable, nice style and a good price. only thing i don't like is that the front part of the sandal is very wide - makes her feet look big. but she loves them so all is good and since we are the same shoe size i can wear them too!!!

Used the shoes while on a week-long boating trip. They worked out wonderfully and I can't wait to try them out at the beach later this summer

Only issue I am finding is I have to adjust strap over foot to get really comfortable fit. Usually having to readjust few times after putting on.

I've been wearing Hurricanes for about 10 years now. I love them because they are SO comfortable. I either wear a 6 kids or an 8 women's. The only difference between these sizes that I can tell is that the strap across the toes on the kid's 6 is longer than on the women's 8. That makes the kid's six look nicer because less velcro shows and more of the web design is visible. I wish the women's 8 would make the web design about an inch longer across the toes.

I love this shoe -- have had it before. This year I am having problems with the Rt. toe strap & considering sending it back but still trying to break it in. I have had the old original for years & it is still a favorite.

I find the toe part of the shoe uncomfortable. I have tightened the strap but my foot still slides forward.

If you have a wide foot, they are great. Footbed is much wider than my other Teva's. Sorry they didn't work because I love the colors, especially Fig.

The straps are much shorter than the last pair I had. Worse, the straps have given me blisters the two times I've worn them walking for 45 minutes. My last pair did not do this. Have you changed the strap design? I am a devotee of the Teva footbed, so am wearing these for very short periods, trying to "break them in." I hope it works, but I have some doubts as the straps are so sturdy, it's hard to imagine them softening.

I'm kind of disappointed, because my last pair of these sandals had some sort of fabric under the straps, which gave a little protection over my toes (like a liner underneath the Velcro and ribbon) This pair has just the ribbon going over my toes, and so far they're not very comfortable. I hope I didn't just blow sixty bucks on some painful, useless shoes.
