My third pair of Teva sandals. I bought my first pair in 1990 and wore them almost every day in the summer for nearly 10 years. My second pair didn't see as much use, and I only retired them because they were really one size too large. These sandals are perfect for boating for going to the beach, or just for wearing around town in the summer. They stay on, which is nice when walking any distance and the straps make them very easy to adjust and keep comfortable.

I received these today after having to sadly say goodbye to my last pair of similar Teva's after 13 years of heavy use; they had traveled the world multiple times and the tread finally wore off. I was reluctant after reading a number of other posts that mentioned concerns but here's the bottom line: They feel great! They are light, offer a nice arch support, and a I note major improvement in flexibility and comfort. Now I can only hope these last as long. Of course if there are any issues with I promise I will be back to revise this review.

I've had Tevas before, but these are better than any of my previous sandals. The footbed is just right - soft and comfortable (but not too soft like some flip flops). I also really like that the heel strap is adjustable on this model. It is a great improvement, making it very easy to get a customized fit. Finally, I like the simple style of these, including the classic triangle strap connectors. I normally wear an 11.5, but the 11 is a perfect fit on this sandal.

i have been a long term wearer of Teva Hurricane men's sandals. This pair, with improved tread is the best yet.

I just returned from a three week trip across Europe, where I wore my Hurricane XLTs all day, every day. I did a LOT of walking on concrete and cobbles and also a lot of standing around in lines and in museums, etc. I also went to the beach and wore them swimming as the shore was rocky. The weather was extremely hot the whole time. The Hurricane XLTs were great. No chafe, no blisters, no smell. Very comfortable and plenty of cushion. My legs got tired, but my feet were happy the whole time.

I'm on my second pair of the 3 triangle design Teva sandals in 13 years. The first pair, bought on sale for [$], lasted through constant use over 11 summers. Finally had to put them away and get new ones because the velcro just wouldnt hold anymore while hiking through fast running streams. Waited 2 years to write the review on the new ones, they're holding up great and are only now beginning to show any wear on the pads where the balls of my feet strike. Get these sandals, you won't be disappointed!

I've been beating on these sandals for two years now and they haven't let me down. They've been hiking coast to coast, through every condition thinkable. Deep snow is a bad idea, and trying to wade upstream in strong current is as well. I would highly recommend these sandals for anyone who loves to feel barefooted without mauling the bottoms of your feet. Thanks Teva for some great shoes!!

My son loves them. He doesnt want to take them off to go to bed. They fit well but I think they are a little big. I dont mind because it gives him room to grow. I wasnt very excited about the looks from the pics online but they are cute on. I have also gotten many compliments on them. Everyone seems to recognize the classic teva look.

Best sandals I have ever owned, hands down.

I have worn Teva sandals many years. Some have been ill-designed with a non-adjustable web, for some reason, under the straps. The plastic hardware was positioned to irritate my feet. I had to get rid of them. The Hurricane XLT has none of these flaws. I expect to purchase a couple more pairs, because when I like a product, it seems to put the Kiss of Death on it as far as the company continuing to make it.

beginning when the weather is warm enough, I wear my sandals whenever I can. Working in the yard, canoeing, day at the beach, hanging out, etc. I love the fact that they can get wet and dirty and just need to be hosed off to be as good as new. this is the 4th Hurricane I have owned, the first three lasted over 25 years combined. A tremendous product well worth the price.

Bought these for my husband since he'd about worn out his old pair after several years. He loves them and won't consider wearing any other sandal.

The best improvement w/ the new Hurricane Teva is the traction! Prev.Hurricane's i've owned were good, but since i use these for backcountry treks, the new sole makes this Teva more stable and less likely to slip in gravel, rock, or loose soil.
