I bought this sandal as I thought it had good arch support and a good heel cup based on some of the reviews. There was not enough of either for my sad feet. However, I wore these sandals everyday on an 8-day family trip and found them very comfortable. My knees and feet could have used more support but I am still wearing them; and still looking for more support in perhaps another style. I have worn Teva's for years.

I wore these on the very first day to a music festival. The rubber gets a bit hot in the blazing sun, but overall, this is a very comfortable shoe!

I recently decided to upgrade to these sandals due to the quick release buckles, arch support, heal padding, and water drain feature. I haven't had them long enough to form an opinion on durability and longevity but so far so good. The sandals are extremely comfortable, provide excellent cushioning while also providing great arch support. The water drain features is about as good as advertised. There's a little noise for a few minutes until the sole and your foot dries. There is no squishing from water being trapped in the sole of the sandal - ever! Biggest room for improvement is in the buckles. That feature is part of the reason I purchased this model and I spend a good amount of time on a Michigan beach in the summer. Unfortunately the fine sand gets into the buckles and stops them from releasing - or locking after you do get them out. Great sandal, buckles are probably fine if around more coarse sand like the Pacific coast, high desert, etc. I won't return these because of the buckles but certainly wish they didn't get stuck after a day at the beach.

Had the original Toachi for 3 years until my dog chewed the strap clip. Was the best pair of sandels I ever owned. This new version is well designed and very comfortable. Although, I prefer the sole of the original as it molded to my feet excellent. The new sole feels rather stiff and the straps have less cushion. Overall, still a very durable shoe and Teva's customer service is top notch. Delivery was quicker than promised. Pricey, but if they last several years, its worth it in my opinion. I like to wear my sandels in the water at the beach and they hold up very well to the salt water.

Would be a 5 if they still had the toe. I have no idea why Teva got rid of the toe on this shoe. I have backpacked miles and miles in them. Kick a rick no big deal and it helped keep the little pebbles out. Plus at a river crossing you just charge on.

bought these sandals for my partner,. he loves them! uses them in the boat, at the beach, & just general casual everyday use.

Perfect sandal for use on the boat. Lightweight with excellent support, fit and traction.

This was just the thing for our Galapagos trip, where we have "wet landings" and have to get those sandals right off and get the hiking boots on. On a beach without rocks or an ordinary hiking trail, they could stay on. Didn't collect sand, either.

Buckles make these sandals so easy to put on and take off, and I wish more Tevas had them. Then there is no velcro over the arch that will become fuzzy and worn. I walk fast almost daily on concrete sidewalks, and these Toachi 2s cushion my feet well. I do wish they came in more colors. I have also always found that Tevas run very large, and I wonder why so many people say they run true to size. I usually wear a size 10 shoe, but I wear a 8.5 in Tevas. I have one pair in size 9, and the toes are constantly catching on the pavement and fraying. The velcro in the heels rubs on the hems of my long pants and causes them to fray. If it weren't for this abrading, running large, and only two color choices, I would give them 5 stars.

First of all, TEVA sandals are the ONLY footwear I can wear, because of my various and uncomfortable foot and ankle problems: without TEVA, I honestly doubt I'd be walking much. Having said that, I wore my brand new TOACHI2'S to a trade show today: all day on the cement floor. Now, I did have to sit down now and then, and I'm not dancing tonight, but they enabled me to enjoy an activity that I otherwise couldn't have done. Great cushioning, great support, great stability -- I love TEVA!

The buckle clicking constantly drives me crazy, but that being said I LOVE this shoe - I wear it all spring, summer and fall long. My last pair completely fell apart and the soles were worn out because I wore them so much. The most comfortable shoe ever- I have tried Keens, Nike, etc. but TEVA is by far my favorite!!

I should have ordered a half-size larger (that was my fault)

I can even walk 10 miles a day, comfortably in them.

I've been wearing Tevas for about 25 years. It used to be that I would wear them out. Lately it seems that they come unglued long before they should (less than a year). You have been good about replacements but this should not happen this often

I really liked everything about the older version of these sandals better...the color (last pair was coral which I loved but isn't being made anymore), the shape (these are pointier and less squared off at the toe than the last pair--I liked the squared off look and felt more natural to my feet),the neoprene underlayer on the last pair (these have a different material, which I don't like as much). I wish I could buy the older version again!

I have problem feet (hammer toes and high arches) and your product is perfect for giving my toes freedom but supporting elsewhere. For me it has meant the difference between being able to walk happily and not going on holiday!

I use these sandals everywhere. They almost never leave my foot, which is probably why I've gone through 3 of them. I would like them to be more durable though. The front strap on the sandal isn't one piece and immediatly caused a blister on my foot from the chafing. The older model had one complete strap which I thought was better for this reason.

I love them. I wear these sandals everyday. They are superlightweight and durable. I wear them to the river, which entails some steep climbing and these sandals stay safely attached to my feet while providing a sole that grips any surface. Adjustable enough to allow socks on cold mornings. I have been stopped by strangers so they can find out what kind of sandals I am wearing. The only thing slightly negative is that I like the arch structure on the old open toachi 2 better. The newest arch is a bit too flexible which makes the sandal a tad limp. This manifests in the toe of the sandal catching obstacles. The old sandals didn't do that.

I love these sandals aside from my bunion being sensitive when I first wear them. The first generation of Toachi did not bother the bunion at all. I think the little plastic piece might be in a different location of the Toachi 2. Still love these sandals and wear them all the time.

The one problem I had with these is that the straps across the toes were different lengths, so on one sandal I had to loosen it more than on the other sandal, which bugged me because it was obvious to me (maybe other people wouldn't be looking that closely) that I had to wear the straps at different lengths.

I took them on vacation to Hawaii and walked everywhere in them. They were so comfortable even after walking after 8 to 9 hours. I love the way they fit and look on my feet. I would definitely buy another pair. I look forward to seeing more bright colors and patterns.
