Lucky me, these fit great! I do have relatively straight hips and do well in slim fit jeans. I normally wear an 8 pant and these fit true to size. Originally I bought two in size 10, which was okay with a belt but happily just got two more pair in size 8. Cool in the summer and this Fall when the temperature dropped I wear my size 10 with a light pair of leggings underneath. Quick drying fabric but with a nice body to it. Side pockets and rear pockets have snaps so no worry about my gear falling out. The fabric shows dust but it wipes off easily.

I absolutely love these pants. I read all the reviews and for me, the negatives were actually positives. I am tall (5'9"), slender, with a boyish figure. So, when I read that these were the cons that other ladies had, I was all over them. When I tried them on and was thrilled, as these were the first pants that I have had in a long time, that actually fit everywhere! For me, they are great! I then showed them off to my husband and he too thought they looked amazing! I will say, if you have some shape, they may not work for you. However, for those of us that were not blessed with a figure, thank you!

Love these pants. I have three pairs: for working in the garden, hiking and camping, and for casual use. I am 5'4 with narrow hips and a flat behind. Size 4 fits me like a glove. Had to take the hem up a half inch, which I always have to do anyway. The finished hem of these pants makes it a bit tricky, but well worth the effort. Extremely well made and comfortable.

I love these pants! We hike all over the north GA mountains and these are my go to pants for every trip. I used to be a North Face junkie but not anymore. I have four pair and ordering my next pair now!

Love these pants! Well worth the money. I wear them all the time. I like the rise on them too - not too high or too low. Wash well too. I ordered a size 6 and I am 5'4 and 135 lbs and they fit perfect!

Oh ho ho how I love these so! Just got back from 2 weeks hiking in Montana and these were by far my fave pants to wear. Order both green and gray in size 4 but the green seem to fit better. Fit true to size and so comfy and durable.

Love these pants! I would order a size from usual, and make sure you check inseam length. Extremely helpful customer service...Zappos is the only place I shop online!

These do run a bit small. I usually take a 2 or a 4. Size 2 was too small. I ordered two different colors in size 4 and one fit perfect while the other one was small. My suggestion would be to order the larger size if you tend to wear between 2 different sizes, and order a couple of pairs. These obviously vary in cut. Otherwise, these pants are great! VERY comfortable and perfect for warm weather instead of jeans.

I was very pleased with this purchase. The size two fit perfectly (I usually find that I need to buy size zero, but these pants seemed true to size). I wore them out the first day I received them, and was complimented on how nice they looked.

I am returning these because they were a bit too snug in the waist for what I needed--maximum comfort for long rainy days in a third world country. I ordered a sz 8 in the same order and they worked fine. I am 5'6" and usually wear a sz 6 in jeans but I don't like things to be tight on my waist at all - I'd rather my pants hang on my hips or wear a belt to hold them up. These do stretch a bit as the days goes by. Very sporty, comfy and lightweight. They dry very quickly.

Great pant! The pockets, zipper and material are very high quality. It's hard to find a good pant with extra pockets (that really close tight). I love the "Roll-Up" option, you just roll-up and snap, perfect for a hot day or a day at the beach! They look really cute on! A little gap in the back of the waist, not noticeable. Very comfy feel.

These are my go-to traveling pants. They are comfortable enough to wear for extended periods and presentable enough for most situations. I love the fit and don't find them to particularly small in the waist.

These are great pants! I was scared to buy due to some of the reviews, but I got them anyway. I have wide hips and small waist but these pants fit true to size and were just perfect! Curvy girls do not be afraid to try these and with Zappos' return policy you cannot go wrong.

Perfect Pocket Pants! Lots of room to store your stuff, sturdy snaps and zipper, lightweight material. Goes from a full pant to a roll up quickly. Very good quality, well worth the money spent!

This brand is my new favorite. I was looking for a casual pant for gardening and outdoor adventure and these fit the bill perfectly. These are very well made and very comfortable. They wash well. The fit was perfect for me--narrower hips and flat butt. At 5'4'', I had to take up the hem by 1.5, which was the exact length of the finished hem itself, so it worked out fine for me, but could be a bit of a job if the pants are less than 1.5 too long.

They fit! I always have a hard time finding pants that fit my hips. These have just the right amount of stretch to give me that little extra room but doesn't get baggy by the end of the day.

Love the pants. They did great on a 16 day hiking trip in Patagonia as my go-to hiking pants. Unfortunately, I took the other commentators advice and ordered a size up. That was a mistake. I usually wear a size 4 and the size 6 proved to be entirely too big. They did okay just after washing, but then I had to hike them up several times throughout the day. I suppose that just makes them SUPER comfortable... I'm 5'7", weigh 140lbs and I most certainly have hips and a tush.

These are great pants for hiking and traveling. I wear them whenever I fly. I can fit four passports and boarding passports (folded) in one side pocket and my camera in the other. On a recent ziplining trip, it was awesome to take some pictures, and then slip the camera right into my pocket before taking off. All four cargo pockets have snap closures, which is great to make sure that your items don't fall out. These run small. I usually wear a size 6, but have these in a 10. They are big in the waist, but two darts took care of it perfectly. These are great, functional pants for travel and hiking.

I have two daughters that are competitive swimmers and am always on deck timing during meets and getting splashed and soaked (not welcomed in the winter when you also have to go back outside to freezing temps). I was looking for pants that would be quick-drying to wear at the pool as well as be great for hiking in milder weather. I've never tried Kuhl before, but now I am hooked on the brand. These pants are flattering, designed well (the roll-up hems are perfect for my needs), and the material is comfortable and durable with some give. I have a 28" waist and 35 1/2" hips and the size 6 was a great fit for me: loose, but not sloppy -- perfect! My only glitch with this purchase was that one of the snaps on the roll-up button tabs in the first pair I ordered was sewed on backwards. It wasn't a big deal, I just ordered a new pair and sent the first one back (love Zappos' super easy returns!), but I would suggest checking the tabs when you receive them.

Got these pants for hiking, they are great quality, comfortable, and stylish. Like many others mentioned I needed to go a size up. I'm normally a size 6 or 8, but needed a 10 in these. I love that they can be rolled up and made into capris!

I really like these pants. I think they are true to size. I have large thighs and these pants still fit well. I've been wanting brown cargo with some stretch for quite awhile, and these are great. I've washed them several times and they come out perfect, although I bypass the dryer to preserve the length. That is my main complaint: longs, or at least a 33 inch inseam would be better. The quality is excellent.

These are now my favorite pants. They are comfortable but also cool and sporty. The side pockets are perfect for my iPhone and you can roll up the bottoms for a different look and warmer weather. These pants fit like a glove and are very flattering despite my large hips. I will be getting different colors of this! As always, Zappos sent it very fast; just in time for my trip!

I love these pants. I am 5'4", 105lb and normally wear size 0 or 00 and size 2 fit perfectly. The fabric is not too thin but not bulky either which is perfect for my trip to Africa during winter months. The snap buttons on pockets are nice too. The length is also perfect on me but the most of all, I love the way it makes my butt looks. If you are a small framed woman like me, ordering up a size should do the trick. I am ordering another one in different color.

I absolutely love these pants!! The fit and style are great but I did return these and other Kuhl items because of the nanotechnology used in the fabric. The FDA does not require the labeling of micro/nanotechnology in any product. It is used for SPF/UPF, waterproofing and durability and more. Nanotech is controversial and I don't want it in my clothes or food. Unfortunately this tech in almost everything. So disappointed!!!

I have owned three pairs of these trousers over the years in three sizes: 6, 8, and 10. Oddly, they all fit — albeit very differently. Ultimately, I like best the size 10 with a belt added to hold them up. They are very comfortable and cute rolled up. I had bought the size 10 by mistake but kept them and wore them nonstop for a week! I’m short waisted and have narrow hips but muscular thighs. The fit is awesome, but a belt is essential. I find the internal drawstring useless. The trousers have one major flaw. The fabric stains very easily and it is virtually impossible to get the stains out. A dog jumped on me when I was wearing my newest (and favorite) pair and I thought little of it when I saw the grubby paw prints above my knee. But those paw prints are with me now forever and I have tried every trick and product books and the internet suggests. I have had similar problems with this fabric in the shorts and it is extremely disappointing. And yet, I keep coming back to order more because the fit is so nice....
