Love the style and cut -- and the vino color (darkish red) is fabulous. The fabric is a little heavier than I would like and probably I wouldn't wear them in hot weather but they'll be good for spring and fall. I read another review (maybe 2?) that mentioned they sort of give you a wedgie -- well, they do just a tiny bit on me but I think I can deal with it. But maybe people with more junk in their trunk will find that to be an issue. FWIW, I'm 5'6" and 120 lbs and got the size 4.

Great pants -fit very well. I ordered size 6 and they fit perfect! I am 128 lbs - 5'6". Pants are great to travel in - very comfortable and don't wrinkle easily. Totally would recommend!

I took a chance on these pants in hopes the side pockets would hold my iPhone 6 Plus. They do! They are really nice looking. I am 5'9" pear-shaped and 168 lbs. The size tens fit perfectly. The rear pockets are rounded so they don't get that annoying fold-over. These are my new everyday pants and I have since bought two more pairs. Love!

I love these pants. While I understand what folks are saying about the hips being for a slimmer figure, they work for me extremely well. I wear a two and it fits perfectly, quite cute. I love the roll up feature, the cotton in the pants and how they move with you, stretching just enough without too much. I wore them three days in a row hiking and it was a winner all around. The water repellant feature is perfect too. So....it depends on your figure as to which Kuhl pant to buy - they all are certainly well made. The Kendra pant was too loose for me so that would be a good one for those who need more allowance for hips.

Great pants! I love them. Use them for leisure or light hiking. Make my butt look great. ;) As usual speedy delivery from Zappos, and I love that just in case they didn't fit Zappos offers free shopping both ways.

I bought these for a trip to Iceland and they were perfect. They were comfortable and I loved the extra pockets and the quick-dry material. It rained frequently plus we were hiking through streams, and these pants would dry in the car. Very pleased with this purchase.

Basically, these pants look great and are comfortable and well made. I wear size 8, am 5'6" with a longer torso, so the inseam needs to be taken up. So, I guess my only complaint would be that the default length is too long, something like a 32.

These are my favorite pants - I wear them for work and for play. I ended up liking them so much that I ordered additional pairs in other colors. They fit great and are very flattering, and the cargo pockets on the side come in handy. I absolutely love them!

I love these pants and am planning to order more at some point. I am a bit tall with a leggy build and not very curvy in the hip or butt. The more fit I get the more streamlined my silhouette gets so it's hard to shop for pants. These pants accentuate what I have and compliment my build instead of pooching out at the hips or swimming around the rear. When I tried them on the first time I thought, "Wow! These actually look good on my butt." I've not had the occasion to say that many times in my life. They look good and I've been able to wear them to work and still look good. These pants are also super comfortable, feel cool and wick moisture nicely and with the cotton content they don't feel synthetic. The rise and waistband is also perfect for me (I'm short waisted) so the waistband feels better when I'm sitting and doesn't bunch up. Again, I love these pants and look forward to getting at least a couple more pairs.

I just bought a pair of these pants, and I wish I could live in them. I LOVE the styling and all the pockets. They fit me very well, maybe a bit roomy around the waist, but that's better than too snug. I DO have an issue with the sizing, but not at all the problem some women seem to have. I have no real problem with the hips or waist, and believe me, I am neither slim nor narrow-hipped. I took a 10, which is my usual size. I tried the 8, and it was too small across the hips, but then I don't usually take an 8. So why did I even try the 8? The pants are TOO LONG, or more specifically, they are not offered in different lengths. The inseam is at least 32"; I need a 30. The length of the 8 was more appropriate, so maybe I am "meant" to take the 8 and then complain about the narrow hips. Meanwhile, I just roll up the excess fabric. Give these comfortable functional pants a try.

I just ordered my fifth pair of these pants, so I will have them in all five colors. I have a 'curvy' figure, with a much smaller waist than hips, and muscular thighs from all the hiking. These pants are perfect for a curvy figure, even if they aren't labeled as 'curvy.' A previous reviewer referred to the way the waist band gaps at the back, this is just a weird quirk of these pants when they are brand new. Once they are worn for a couple of hours and the fabric settles onto a person (rather than just being folded up), that so-called gap disappears and the pants conform against the back. For those of us with curvier derrieres, that covers any gap and keeps you from flashing anyone when you sit down. It's a design feature of the KuhlKurve fit pants. The fabric is perfect for outdoor activities, washes easily, and dries quickly (a big plus when wading through streams.)

Very comfortable and versatile. Holds up well in the wash. I got a size 12, but normally wear a size 10, they fit nicely. Higher waisted than most of my other pants. They are long which works well for me (I have a 33 inch inseam). I bought 3 colors which are all nicer in person than in the photos.

These pants are great. I get compliments all the time. Light, easy to wash and pack and wear! Check the inseam, 32." I'm 5'4 and find this long. Many of Kuhl's other styles come with a 30" inseam.

I was looking for a full length hiking pant that would roll-up (not convertible), packed easy, washed/dried easy, and looked cute on. I tried the Kuhl Splash Roll-Up, Kuhl Kontra, and Prana Halle and ultimately kept the Prana Halle. The Prana Halle was a bit heavier than either Kuhl and had the best fit for my body. The Kuhl Splash Roll-Up Pant also fit very nicely, but the cargo pockets on the side made it too casual (I'm hoping to wear the pant while working in Africa, too). The Kuhl Kontra sat a little lower than the other two and the contrast stitching made it look very youthful and cheap (in a bad way). In terms of sizing, I normally wear a 2 and am 5'4". The Kuhl's ran true to size and the 2 fit great. I was in between inseams -- 30 was too short, 32 was too long. For the Halle, I went to a size 0 (although there was very little different between at 2 and 0) and the 30 inseam fit perfect.

I love these pants. Great sturdy material, and good fit. I love the roll up feature. It makes for a casual look that is longer than a capri and cooler and shorter than a regular long pant. I have three pairs! I also love the Kuhl Splash 11" shorts.

I love these pants! I am 5'8", 160 lbs, size 14. I have a small waist and big hips. They are so comfortable. Because of the gusset, you can really move unrestricted. Low-ish waist, nice thin but tough fabric. The only thing I would say, is that they are a teensy bit too long.

Bought in both the khaki and the charcoal. The khaki size 4 fit great. But the charcoal size 4 fit more like a size 2, so that one had to go back. Love the fit and comfort of these. I bought them for casual hiking in cooler temps and they're also comfy for airline travel.

Love these pants. Received a pair as a gift and then bought 2 more pair. They run small so size up one size.

I bought these and a black pair and hiked all over the South Island of New Zealand. The pants were great. Leg pocket perfect for cell phone/camera and they are quick dry, too. I am 5'4" and did have to hem them even though they were a small. If they came in different lengths they would be perfect but I am still giving them a five.

Lucky me, these fit great! I do have relatively straight hips and do well in slim fit jeans. I normally wear an 8 pant and these fit true to size. Originally I bought two in size 10, which was okay with a belt but happily just got two more pair in size 8. Cool in the summer and this Fall when the temperature dropped I wear my size 10 with a light pair of leggings underneath. Quick drying fabric but with a nice body to it. Side pockets and rear pockets have snaps so no worry about my gear falling out. The fabric shows dust but it wipes off easily.

I absolutely love these pants. I read all the reviews and for me, the negatives were actually positives. I am tall (5'9"), slender, with a boyish figure. So, when I read that these were the cons that other ladies had, I was all over them. When I tried them on and was thrilled, as these were the first pants that I have had in a long time, that actually fit everywhere! For me, they are great! I then showed them off to my husband and he too thought they looked amazing! I will say, if you have some shape, they may not work for you. However, for those of us that were not blessed with a figure, thank you!

Love these pants. I have three pairs: for working in the garden, hiking and camping, and for casual use. I am 5'4 with narrow hips and a flat behind. Size 4 fits me like a glove. Had to take the hem up a half inch, which I always have to do anyway. The finished hem of these pants makes it a bit tricky, but well worth the effort. Extremely well made and comfortable.

I love these pants! We hike all over the north GA mountains and these are my go to pants for every trip. I used to be a North Face junkie but not anymore. I have four pair and ordering my next pair now!

Love these pants! Well worth the money. I wear them all the time. I like the rise on them too - not too high or too low. Wash well too. I ordered a size 6 and I am 5'4 and 135 lbs and they fit perfect!
