These boots are stunning and so comfortable. I have them in two colors - cognac and dark brown. I love them both! Frye is one of the last standing true craftsmen based company.

I love the boots the fit feels great a little stiff but Im stretching them be more comfortable. My only complaint is the packaging was not presented with care. For a shoes to cost 400 I was expecting to open it with a really nice packaging but no! Im glad that the shoes it self was great craftsman and the leather smell so good Im definitely keeping it.

These boots are so cool! They were comfortable on the first wear, but they do need socks with a little cushion on the bottom! Love the rugged look with the higher heel so they can be dressed up or down. Would definitely recommend.

ordered the wood oiled suede, very cute, loved heel height. Shoe was slightly narrow in my little toe area, may need to size up which I have to do a lot of times in boots. Normally wear 7-7.5 but may need an 8 in this boot. I have two other Frye boots and love them.

I ordered these in the black cherry size 8.5, my normal size. The fit is good. Color is nice. The construction is superb. However, they have a decidedly wide and clunky look on the foot and I don't care for the masculine looking tie grommets. If I planned to wear these only with jeans I would have kept them, but at this price a shoe needs to be more than something to wear with pants, and so I returned. I ordered the Savannah Combat as a replacement, hoping it will be a bit sleeker through the ankle.

I ordered these boots in my usual size. I had no trouble getting them on, but I knew with socks they would be too small. My feet felt so good up against the leather. They smell good and the boot is beautiful. The heel height is just right for me as I have a fused ankle and have to wear heels at all times. It's just that these are comfortable heels. I had to send them back and then there were none in a half size larger. In fact, there were none to be had except in size 5.5 and size 11. Then, a miracle! I found them in a half size larger than I usually wear. I hope they will live up to the claims I've read that they need little to no breaking in and that they can be worn for 10 hours and still stay comfortable. A good boot is hard to find.

Great boot! Very good looking. I love the Charcoal color. Goes great with pants or a dress/skirt and tights. Runs a bit narrow and tight in the arch so I ended up ordering a 1/2 size up which was much more comfortable. Not THE most comfortable boot but good enough and great heel height for wearing/walking for longer periods.

my first pair of Frye and I love them. Got the grey and have gotten so many compliments on the color. Like a lot of other reviewers I found them very narrow across the top of the foot right where the laces start. It took ordering 3 different pair to fine one that was not as tight and they have loosened up just a bit with wear so now they are perfectly comfortable. totally worth the break in period!

In general, I think Frye boots are overpriced. but I bought these at a good sale price and am going to keep them. I like the Vibram sole for winter wear.
