Hat material dissolves immediately if it gets wet. Lasted less than a month. This is a sun hat that was built to live indoors. An average paper towel is more robust. Shameful.

Great fit and look for hot summer days

So hard to find a good hat that is light and holds it shape. What does everyone do for washing it tho? Just cold water. Or soap too???

Stylish, light and very comfy

nowhere in the pictures or description was this hat's colour accurately described. It fits, it's light, and it does the trick out in the garden, but would I wear it out in public...only with my friend curious George by my side...

This is much better quality than the genuine Panama hat I bought in Panama for 150$, it fits extremely well and protects me from the sun.

Great quality and good value. Always glad to own and OR products. The colour is more yellow than I was hoping for but that's a minor detail that I gladly accept as it is a great fit and practical sun hat.

Friendly customer service, comfortable, like the price, but found the shipping and the return to be very slow. Not outside of the shipping agreement, right down to the last second.

Ordered this in a large, as usually I wear a 59cm hat. Found that it fit too loose and would easily blow off on a light wind. So if you are on the margins sizewise, would recommend trying first, especially with no free returns.

I bought this hat to replace my previous one that wore out, and decided to buy two (one in each of the two available colours). It is a great stylish hat. Its only downside is that it is made of papyrus and becomes weak when wet, so if the hat becomes wet, be careful not to subject the sides to two much mechanical stress.

I really like the look and feel of this thing. Very light, comfortable on the hottest of days. One drawback, which I suppose it shares with all hats of this type, is that it is not crushable/packable, and I don't expect it to last as long/be as durable as heavier cotton or nylon canvas models. Still - worth it for the comfort on a sunny day.

I am required to wear a hat for medical reasons. I have many hats. This is a great hat which provides shade for my face. The hat is also good looking and I enjoy wearing it. It is a dressy hat or a hiking hat. I purchased the light color. The one issue I am finding on my many of my hat purchases is that the company's name is in large print on the band. I could not pull off the band on this hat so I put a large turtle pin and a native american round pin on the band to cover the name. Other hat companies use a small metal tack embossed with the company name which I prefer (it is classier). I don't like people peering at my hat to find out the name of the company. It would be much more social and pleasant if a person had to ask. I have owned an OR black rain hat for about 20 years. It is a classy hat and the OR, stitched on the hat, is small and not intrusive.

Perfect hat for gardening or any activity outside. It's very light and it looks fabulous. Glad I bought it !

Very yellow compared to photos online. The shape/style was nice with chin strap. Seems like it will be very comfortable and not hot with the ventilation of the top part.

I mostly use it for gardening around the house. Not quite stylish enough for me to want to wear around town.

The hat is fine. But two recent orders were cancelled by a terse email. Monies were refunded with little explanation. I can't think of any other company that does that. How can you project reliability if you can't deliver on your core service - selling merchandise?

Runs a little small

Hat has plenty of ventilation to prevent getting too hot in the sun. The brim is lined with what I presume to be the SPF barrier but it doesn't add much bulk or make the brim sag. Fit is fairly true to sizing in other fitted hats I own. The chin strap is removable if you don't think you'll be in the wind too often. All in all, I'd buy it again.

I use this hat to go out on our boat. It has a great brim and the hat holds its shape when wet. The size guide was useful when ordering and my hat fits perfectly. The only reason I did give a five is because I want to see how it holds up over time since it is much lighter weight then my previous brimmed hats.

I wish the crown didn't have the foam pad and fabric cover. Together they really cut down on venting. Although they do help the hat to keep it's shape nicely. Been wearing it golfing and hiking in 90 degree heat with little cloud cover and it's overall a nice hat.

My husband loves this hat and uses it all the time. My only critique is that it is more yellow than it appears in the pictures. I wanted to return it because I really do not like how yellow it is, but my husband doesn't care.

Great Hat! This is my second one. Brim may be a little big for some men but is considered unisex. I use it for yard work, hiking and the beach. Is fancy enough for more dressy occasions. It looks delicate; but is surprisingly durable. Color is not accurate (light straw not brown).

Colour was much lighter than expected for 'khaki'. Otherwise great hat.

Haven't really used hat yet. Kind of snug for my fat head. Good looking hat. For the rest of the season I went with a ball cap and bandanna.
