I developed a foot condition several months ago called Morton's Neuroma. It is usually caused by shoes that are too narrow in the forefoot/ toebox, causing the toes to get squeezed together. Since developing this condition, I have been seeking out shoes with a wide toebox. I tried these shoes based on the pictures which made it appear that the toebox was fairly wide. The forefoot of the shoe does indeed have more room than the average shoe and my feet don't feel too squeezed while wearing them. My orthopedist also recommended that I use a custom orthotic, and this shoe is the only one of my shoes that easily accommodates the orthotic, which is quite a bit thicker than the average insert. Incidentally, the inserts that come with the PTC oxfords is quite thick and comfortable. Overall I'd say these are really comfortable and supportive shoes, and if you need a shoe for custom orthotics, this is a good bet.

I got these for my boyfriend to use for work. He works in the back room/unloading trucks at a big box retail store, so he's on his feet all day at work, in addition to walking a lot to/from work and school. After his first day wearing them, he said "these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn!" There was no break in period. They seem to be holding up well in the Pacific Northwest winter rainstorms and keeping his feet dry. In addition, they don't look too frumpy or like "work shoes." He can wear them to metal concerts and not feel dorky. Definitely a great purchase!

This shoe was comfortable from the moment I put it on. I ordered it at 5:30 pm and it was on my porch the following day by 1 pm, so I wore it to work immediately. There was no "break in" period and they are very easy to clean. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who works in restaurants. Thanks Zappos!

This is my second pair of Keen Utility shoes. I used to have foot pain (from cheap shoes). I also have wider than normal feet. After research, I decided on these. I am an instructor, and am on my feet all day moving through my training facility. There is zero break in time. I also own a pair of Keen sandals that I love. I highly recommend these shoes.

These are very comfortable, nice looking, no complaints. Keens rule!

Squeaky is unfortunately the first word that comes to mind. The leather itself squeaks when it flexes (even on carpet) and it draws unwanted attention in the office. I should have gone to Keenfootwear.com and read the other recent reviews which also noted their shoes as squeaky. I guess I'll return these & try Timberland next.

I'm on my third pair of these Keen shoes. I'm a veterinary surgeon and spend most of the day standing. They are the most comfortable work shoes I've ever worn. My feet feel great at the end of the day. I highly recommend them.

This is my third pair of Keen Utility Oxfords. They are comfortable, sturdy and last a long time. I wear them everyday and the older pair for work which really take a beating being in construction. They aren't the best looking but I will take the comfort above all. Thank you Zappos for making it easy to find a style that fits me well!

I work in a hospital about 60 hours a week KEEN shoes are the best shoes for the job comfortable they don't break down I get about 8 months of work outta these Keens and Zappos is great quick delivery great price in 8 months I will be back to order another pair! Thanks Zappos!

These are work shoes so I wasn't looking so much for style. I was looking for a comfortable, supportive and non-slip shoe, which is what I found in the Keen Utility PTC Oxford. I am on my feet 6 to 14 hours per day, working on mostly hard uneven surfaces, and these shoes have made a positive difference in the way my feet and ankles feel at the end of the work day.

The shoes are great, very, very comfortable. They are constructed like lightweight low-cut hiking boots but for me, as a teacher, nice enough to wear everyday to work. I hate to take them off.

I work two jobs full time so I am on my feet for 14 hours daily on the average. This is my third pair of Keen Shoes in the last two years and they are super comfortable and last close to a year. I am very pleased and they help keep a great posture as well. Thanks very much!

I sell Subaru's and spend about 60% of my day on my feet. I have had many injuries to the bones,ligaments and tendons in both of my feet. I also have flat feet like a duck. This is the first shoe I have owned that I don't want to take off when I get home after a 10 or 12 hour day. They're soft,they bend, you can walk or run and they feel the same, great! Buy these shoes and you will want to spend your whole day walking not sitting.

Very comfortable. I like the snug fit and durable toe. These shoes are truly non-slip. Do yourself a favor and pay for quality, your feet will thank you.

I bought these about a month ago, I work in a restaurant where the floors are always wet and slippery. I had purchased in the past the cheap shoes for crews they work however they are not comfortable for more than 3 weeks then they just start to fall apart at the stiching, the toe tends to get blowouts and the bottoms wear out very quick. But with these keens they are very comfy and are built very strong and the best kitchen shoe I have had. They do run a bit small so order a size bigger.

If you're on your feet all day long on hard surfaces these shoes are great. They support your feet well, fit a wide foot well and do not slip on wet floors. Plus, they do have a very clean, almost dress look to them and will pass with work styled clothing. And there's Zappos: they are the best every time, right on time with their service!

I work at a restaurant about 55 hours a week and got these shoes about a month ago and I have to say that these are the best shoes that I have ever bought! Very comfortable and non slip - a great shoe. Would recommend highly.

I myself have owned a number of Keen shoes over the years and I possess a woman's version of this shoe and love it. Thus, I purchased this shoe for my husband prior to leaving on a trip to San Francisco. We took it out of the box and he wore them for 6 days straight walking and biking about 10+ miles a day. Not many shoes can do that without breaking them in! Don't wait, buy them now!

The shoe was vey comfortable especially when I have a pair of wide footing. I stand on my feet all day and the shoe help eliminated some of the stress on my foot. I would highly recommend this shoe for all those individuals who are on thier feet for a long period of time.

I figured I would give these shoes a chance for work after purchasing a pair of Keen sneakers that I fell in love with. I'm a food server and have had a hard time finding a shoe to hold up. I'm 6', 180lbs. While these shoes offer the same wide toe box as the sneakers, I feel there is too much cushion added to the sole in these. I feel that the sneakers (Coronados) offer better stability. However, my feet still feel good at the end of my shifts. I found that one just needs to re-tie these often. The non-slip is also beneficial.
