These are my go-to kitchen shoes. I used to buy the women's version, but when those were discontinued I switched to the men's (the only real difference is that the women's were taller, and having a lower heel is actually a bonus here, since I'm already tall enough to have to hunch a bit at most prep tables). This is my second pair of the men's version, probably my 5-6th overall. I have fairly mixed feelings about these shoes--they're the most comfortable ones I've tried--but considering how expensive these are, their lifespan is pathetic. The footbeds usually have to be replaced in 4-6 months, and the whole shoe every year. My previous pair also had the side start to blow out around the year mark.
That being said, they're comfortable enough that my feet/legs/back still function at the end of the day, they fit all the safety requirements at my job, and are only standard-issue ugly. I know I'll be grumbling about having to buy a new pair in a year, but I'll still do it.

These shoe were a good fit in a brand that almost always fits me. I only wish this exact shoe was also available in brown.

These are really nice quality shoes with excellent support! Sadly I had to return them as they only come in M width and I need EE. Good shoe.

These are quite a bit smaller than my other Keens and I had to order a size larger, but they do seem to be the same width. The top is a bit tight, but more comfortable than my Dansko clogs. They are also much lighter than the Dansko clogs and less clunky.

Everything was great about the shoe. Fit is wide which I have wide feet so that was perfect. The non slip is a little slippery then other shoes I have had. I have super flat feet and need cushion and arch support. These have some but not enough and I had to put inserts. I have tried lots of shoes and so far these have been pretty good. I work at a restaurant for around 10 hours on my feet carrying heavy plates.

Very comfortable shoes for my wide feet. I’ve worn them for about three months in a busy restaurant kitchen and they provide great support for my feet. The only problem I have is that they are not as non-slip or grease-proof as I would have wanted. Other shoes might provide better non-slip soles.

I've had a pair of keen's before and they were great and sturdy. They lasted a good hard year. This particular style I bought for kitchen work and like the the style I had previously they seem sturdy and comfortable. I've only had them for two weeks so far and the only complaint is the insoles are peeling back from the shoe. Not a good sign but I'll beat the crap out of them anyway.

This shoe is a solid 4 stars. I really like the shoes, I am on my feet all day long for work and I appreciate the comfort, and the frequency splashes of water on my shoes never make my feet wet. They are significantly more stable and comfortable than Danskos or the rubber/plastic Birkenstocks. I am hard on my shoes and they last me about 1 year, perhaps slightly longer. Another plus is I received an email coupon from Zappos to make it a better deal. The reason these shoes are not a 5 star is because the inner footbed wears out way too quickly. The shoe itself is very sturdy, and the shoe and tread could probably last me another year before needing a replacement, but the footbed wears out so quickly that once the foam layer is worn through the shoe is no longer comfortable. Of course, I could try a new insole but I've never tried that before and I don't figure to try now. I've worn these shoes for a week and the sole is already peeling up. It's just a matter of time that the underlying foam wears out and in a year or so, they'll be unwearable. These are my 3rd pair of these in a row, I've been wearing the same shoes for a while now, and again, while I can't give them 5 stars, unless something new comes out, I'm sure I'll get these again in a year or so from now.

The only thing I didn't like is after wearing them only one time the insole started peeling in one of the shoes...other than that super awesome shoe and Zappos sent me replacement shoes with no problem.

I've been wearing Danskos for years at work. I do own several Keens also though. Gave these a shot for work in a restaurant. The look good, they are comfortable for about 8hrs. The last 2-4 hrs of a shift can be difficult. They provide reasonable slip protection on most surfaces.

This is my second pair. I'm a chef and spend long hours on my feet. I've worn Birkenstocks, Crocs, Blundstones and Danskos in the past, but these are far more comfortable and the non skid soles are excellent. My only gripe is the insoles are shoddily made and need replacing after only a couple of weeks. I would expect better from shoes at this price point. The insoles are the only reason I rate these as four and not five stars.

The non-slip sole isn't quite non-slip but after 7 months of 50+ hour work weeks the comfort level remains an A+ and the shoes have yet to show any wear.

Once broken in these are fantastic shoes. I spend 10 hours a day on my feet in them. The actual fitment is spot on; however, they are snug fit even for a slip on. Plan on them being a bit tight and wearing a thinner sock. Overall I like them, non slip, good cushion, holding up well in an automotive shop.

These are my pottery shoes and they work great in the studio - comfortable, supportive and easy to clean. The only negative is that I find with my high arches that I can't wear a thick sock, since the top band will bind. With dress socks they are fine though, and I like the ample toe box.

Bought these based on the positive reviews. They are very comfortable and look fantastic in my humble opinion, but not positive they relieve all the discomfort I have standing on my feet at Home Depot all day. Home Depot has a bare concrete floor, and I'm not sure any shoe could overcome that. I ended up buying a pair of New Balance tennis shoes with their gel inserts and as long as I take Advil, I'm able to make through an eight hour shift. Nothing against these shoes, I just thought since everyone else at Home Depot wears New Balance they must know something I don't.

While these shoes are very comfortable, they are NOT slip-resistant. They have great grip on dry surfaces, bur the moment the shoes hit liquid it's game over! Having wide feet, I appreciated the wider toe box. In fact, if you do decide to go with these in spite of the sometimes-slippery traction, I'd recommend ordering both your normal size and a half size smaller. I really did want to like these shoes (they are comfortable!), but when you're busy in a restaurant, you can't be moving at a snail's pace for fear of slipping. It's almost funny that they call these non-slip and specifically market them to people in the service industry! If you find yourself mostly on carpet or matted flooring, you can't go wrong with the comfort. Just be careful the moment you step onto some tile or hardwood! Yikes!

Bought these because I am on my feet 10 hrs a day and needed something that I could count on. I have only had mine a little over a month and they are already worn pretty bad on the inside. I wouldn't buy them again due to the fact they are worn worse than some cheap shoes I have bought in the past. Not worth the cost.

I've ordered these shoes before- in fact, I've worn Keen slip ons pretty constantly for the past 5 years or so. Simple, comfy, good for standing long days. The first pair I ordered is no longer made- I think it was a Bidwell? Anyway, it lasted a good year or so before wearing out. And I'd go through about one pair every year. For about $100 a year, it was a good value in shoes.
But the last couple pairs I've ordered have definitely not lasted as long. In fact, these Keen Utility shoes I ordered six weeks ago are starting to fall apart in the back, inside by the heel. I called Zappos, and as usual the service is great- no questions asked other than "Where can we send you the new replacement pair? Sorry about that!"
So we'll see if this was a "defective pair", which is what they're calling them- or if the quality has just gone way down.
Very comfortable shoe, otherwise.

My husband and I are big fans of Keen. Unfortunately these shoes did not hold to the standard! After only 3 weeks of use, the inner sole/heel began to fray and detach from the rest of the shoe. My husband is an ICU nurse and usually gets a solid 6 months out of his shoes before they start to fall apart. We were hoping these would last but we were wrong! Thankfully Zappos was awesome and gave us a full refund. Disappointed they didn't work out. 2 stars on the shoes, 5 stars for Zappos customer service!

I finally decided to take the plunge, ditch my $30 Crocs Bistro Clogs that provided no arch support, and spend the money on these Keens. I work in a kitchen and I am on my feet for 9 to 11 hours straight almost every day. These shoes definitely provide much more comfort than my last ones, but they are absolutely NOT slip resistant. I have had them for a week and I have been slipping so frequently at work that it's become a running joke. Sometimes I can't even stand still because my feet just start sliding out from under me, and when I am working on the line, it makes it extremely difficult to move around when my feet can't get any traction. These shoes are definitely comfortable, but I am extremely disappointed that I spent so much money on a pair of shoes I can't efficiently work in and put me at risk of having an accident.

I received my shoes on April 1st. I only wear them at work. I am a chef/purchasing agent for a high volume private country club. I noticed on May 5 the right insole has a hole wore in it already. The shoes also don't feel like they fit to a true size 10. I feel like they are bigger and maybe I should have a size 9.5. This is a hassle because my feet are very important to me and so are the shoes that cover them. I am not impressed with this product and for the amount of money the shoe should hold up.

I have been a Keen fan for many years. Work in a restaurant. These are great shoes in terms of “grip” and comfort. But… what happened to the durability? 9 months in. Stitching is week. Front, outside upper is peeling away. Very disappointed. Would continue to buy these if I could get 18 months (like I used to). Didn’t used to be a problem. What happened Keen?
