I am extremely happy with this Keen Emerald City Sandal. For the first time, I can walk my dog our 2 mile route and not have to wear clunky heavy gym shoes. I can walk forever in these sandals and I've tried them all. Thank you Keen!

The shoe is of great quality, extremely cushioned yet lightweight, and the color is unique. These are also nice because they do not make my feet sweat like some of the other Keen sandals. It would be nice if they had a piece of stretchy fabric in the back instead of a buckle. I could slip it on and off much easier.

Great sandals. Very comfy right out of the box--no adjustment time needed. Can wear 7.5 or 8, but 8 is what fit perfectly. Ordered the 'slate black' which is actually brown and now am going to order black. Great and quick service from Zappos as usual!

Very comfortable, stable on my foot and not pinchy over the ball of my foot or my toes, where I am widest. Comfortable cushion. I did take a 1/2 size larger than normal, but that's normal for me in Keens. Can work with really super casual and can stretch up a little bit to town-casual.

Incredibly comfortable. The sole, footbed and leather is soft and squishy, yet still sturdy. Love them.

Very comfortable, yet funky. Hoping to walk all day in these. Seem to run pretty true to size, perhaps slightly small.

My mom bought these, after having suffered from plantar fascia for a while. She also bought some other shoes that offered great arch support. She said that she has felt a significant improvement in comfort and little to no pain after wearing these for a week or so. (She also bought some other Keen shoes, and some Borns). They are also a lovely shade of marigold yellow and look super cute and stylish for the Spring/Summer.

Keen is the only brand of shoes I buy - extremely comfortable and very well made. I could not recommend these enough.

Keen is my favorite shoe company, and this new style does not disappoint. I usually wear a size 9 in any shoe, and while some of my other Keens are 9 1/2 or 10, this style is perfect for me in a 9. My width is average and this non-adjustable style fits me fine, but someone with narrow or wide feet would have a problem with comfort. I do not know why they used slate black for a color name, as it is definitely a dark brown - the color is as pictured on the website. It is neutral and I anticipate wearing this sandal anytime I am not wearing my Keen Whispers (another favorite).

I ordered the black Emerald City Sandal, and they are so comfortable and cute! Just what I'd expect from Keen. But, I also tried on a pair in the brown, which weren't as comfortable, and the leather on the shoes didn't match. Not what I'd expect from Keen. Love, love, love, the black pair though!

Cute shoe, very unKeen-like. I like their versatility and their comfort, but there are a couple of problems to be aware of. First of all, they're about 1/4 size short. I usually wear a 9-1/2, and I'm right at the edge with these (a 10 would've been a touch too long). Secondly, why a buckle? It hits at a point where you have to be a bit of a contortionist to secure the strap (and it won't pull up over your heel). Velcro would've been so much better. That said, it's difficult to find a pair of sandals that are good for walking but don't look like modified sneakers - so these are keepers!

These shoes looked more stylish on screen than they did on my feet. They were very comfortable, but I felt the ankle strap was too short. The fit was fine, but I fumbled with the tiny end of the strap every time I went to buckle them. The leather is soft, and the inner sole seemed nice for walking, but they made a sighing sound every time I took a step. I returned them and found ECCOs that are nicer to look at and just as comfortable.

I've been looking for some non-athletic-looking sandals to wear for work where I have to stand for 11 hour shifts and I came across these. They were very well-reviewed so I figured I'd give them a shot. I like them pretty well overall, though I do occasionally experience some leg fatigue by the end of the day (I think that's just a given for me at this point, I've invested in so many "perfect" work shoes that just don't cut it). The arch support seems fine for me, not as severe as my Birkenstocks, but better than a lot of sandals. I also used to experience a lot of heel pain, but I do not in these sandals. They are very nice for walking, with flexible, cushioned soles. Many people don't like unbuckling them all the time, but I haven't unbuckled them once since I first sized them.

Cool looking sandal, nicely made, and comfortable. The "slate black" is actually a dusty brown color. I have low ankles, and the ankle strap rubs so I'm returning it. If you don't have that problem they might work for you.

What can I say? Keen has outdone themselves yet again with this sandal. It's super comfy, cute, elegant and sporty, and goes with anything! I ordered the black and wish I also had the brown. Perhaps I will. I would like to see an easier on/off mechanism. Not a huge fan of the buckle clasp, but it doesn't lose any points b/c the rest of the sandal makes up for it! Buy these!

Very comfortable, the leather feels already broken in. Perfect compromise of cushy comfort and style.

I love these sandals very comfy and they look quite elegant Many walking sandals often are a bit on the heavy side but these can be worn with everything. Zappos delivery was swift and wld use again.

These sandals were comfortable from the first time I put them on. There was no need to break them in. The footbed leather is very soft but provides ample support. They are lightweight and not clunky at all. I wear them with skirts and casual dresses.

I love this sandal! I already had it last summer in brown, and it's so comfortable that I decided to get a second pair!

Loved this sandal from day one. No break in period. I have narrow feet and this was a good fit for me. It is more of a neutral olive brownish color...not slate black at all. It goes with everything. Really cute. Highly recommend.

I only took one star off for style as this is a little too sturdy looking, but this is certainly one comfortable sandal! It would be perfect for a walking trip. Most Keens are too wide but this one was great on my narrow foot. It's only being returned because I need something more dressy.

I have wide feet and these sandals fit great. My first pair of Keen's and I can definitely see myself buying their shoes again. In the past I've purchased Mephisto sandals and so far these are just as comfortable.

Loved the style, super comfortable but my foot kept sliding forward. Too big in front and didn't hold my foot in.

I have long been a fan of Keen casual shoes. They last forever and my walking in comfort seems to be Keen's focus. This was my first pair of Keen sandals and, no surprise, they are extremely comfortable. They are so lightweight but still provide some support. And I love the rich brown color and texture of the leather.
