I love this jacket, very happy with my purchase! I have the blue pool/blue sea two toned one. The color is bright and beautiful. This jacket has a feminine fit and is cut and tailored perfectly for me. I am 5'7" and 140 lbs and the medium is a perfect fit so I would say it fits true to size. It's fine without a layer under it and also fits nicely with my fleece underneath it. And guaranteed for life is about as good as it gets. It's very nice to have something of such high quality. Worth every penny!

This is the perfect jacket! Lightweight, windproof, really well constructed. You could wear this over a lightweight fleece and feel very protected from the wind and cold. I love the high quality of Marmot products. I just wish they made the exact same jacket longer, so it would hit below the hip, deflecting water.

Love that this coat has vents under the arms. Some coats around the same price range don't and it gets too hot in the summer months. Really love this coat and the green color as well!!

Love the color size runs small so remember when you order usually a 2XL would be big on me and I can't zip it up but I knew they ran small from reading the reviews so I am happy.

Perfect light rain jacket for summer storms. Super lightweight and easy to pack. Very classy looking (in black). Nice fit. Overall, a great light jacket for the spring and summer months. Do note that this would not be a good coat for the winter, rain or cooler rainstorms - unless you layered it with other pieces.

I LOVE this jacket! It's a little longer and more fitted than a typical windbreaker, so is less sporty-looking. So pretty and flattering! Worth the price.

Jacket is a perfect fit and is comfortable on. It didn't rain on my vacation so haven't worn it yet. And we're in the snow belt , so it will have to wait until spring.

Love this rain jacket. Lightweight and comfortable. My only complaint is that I wish it were a tad more fitted to the waist, but overall really happy with it.

This is an awesome waterproof jacket. The hood has a hard time staying up but once you get it adjusted (which is a little hard with the tiny tabs) it works well. I would buy this again! It kept me dry in the rain for over four hours. It doesn't have any lining so if it is chilly I would suggest wearing something warm underneath.

I love this jacket! The XS is really true to size (unlike other brands' XS) and fits very nicely, especially on the shoulders (not broad/wide making me look like an NFL player). It also has adjustable velcro straps on the sleeves so I can make the sleeves fit better, instead of being all long covering my hands. I ordered the jacket yesterday morning and got it in the mail this afternoon (thanks for the free 1-day shipping, Zappos!). I just wore it out to dinner (misty rain & chilly out this evening)...and had to write a review for it when I got home!

I bought this jacket for a trip to Maine, and it came in very handy! It repelled the rain while remaining comfortable. I usually take an XS but got a small in this to allow for a sweater underneath. The color is beautiful - not too bright but vivid enough to be cheerful and flattering.

I am a true plus size and I purchased the 2XL and it was too small in the hips, the bust and arms were perfect but the hips didn't work. I wear a size 20 in pants and 18/20 in tops, but a 2XL in jacket wouldn't work. If I were smaller this jacket would have been perfect, great flexibility, very lightweight, warm enough for Washington rain, small storage amount for travel. I have returned it and will be trying the North Face version.

This came the very next day, just in time for a trip. I had checked the weather and rain was forecast and I realized I needed a lightweight rain jacket. This is exactly the weight I needed, just for walking in fine mist or light rain--not for a downpour. Although it may work for that, haven't tried it.

Exactly what I was looking for - a cute, lightweight rain jacket. The color is perfect and I'll be able to fit a fleece underneath it if necessary. The only thing I'd change if I could would be for it to be a little longer so that all of my butt is covered. I'm 5' 10" and long-waisted so this shouldn't affect most others.

I loved this jacket, and I can see it got very good reviews. But I ended up not getting it, because the side pockets were too high. They are several inches higher than most pockets on jackets, and I felt awkward sticking my hands in them.

This rain jacket has a flattering fit and great features. It keeps you dry, but breathes pretty well at the same time. I love that it has the underarm zippers to let in air if needed. I am 37/26/34, 5'5"/110 lbs., and size Small fits me very well. There is a drawstring at the hip, only on one side but I don't really need it. One thing I'm not crazy about is the noise it makes when you move (thus 4 stars overall), which hopefully will lessen with use, as another reviewer said. I got the dark pewter and the color goes well with my red hair. A bit pricey, but does have good styling and durability. And, you can register it online and it's guaranteed for life!

I ordered and returned multiple jackets before settling on the Marmot. I plan to go on an Alaska hiking trek and wanted something roomy and waterproof. I am a classic pear shape and found the Marmot to fit the best through the hips. I normally wear a small or medium top but for jackets that fall mid to lower hip, I order large. While the shoulders are big, it really does not show too much given the style of the jacket with open arm vents. I ordered the blue and it is pretty. The pictures on the website do it justice.

Marmot's PreCip Jacket is stylish, durable, lightweight and is affordable for the quality received. As a plus sized woman who usually wears an XL, I ordered the PreCip Jacket in size XXL based on reviews. It was somewhat snug around the waist but overall it was a perfect fit. I would recommend ordering the next size up if you have wide hips.
