This is my toddler's second year in Keen Whispers. They are great, but run long compared with the Newport H2 e.g. a 6 Whisper is only a touch shorter than a 7 Newport. If your kid is between sizes in the Newport, and has a narrower foot this is a great alternative.

A fabulous sandal for kids. It has support. The color is terrific and our granddaughter loves it!

Love, love these - and so does my 2 year old daughter. However, the velcro must be a flaw on these, because I also had the problem, that it wore out quickly, like within a month of (almost every day) wear. It even began to tear at the seam. I expected a bit more from Keen quality. But overall very cute, my daughter can get them on and off by herself, and great for river walking... but the velcro situation is a bummer.

Wonderful shoes for my daughter's chunky feet. Flexible and wide. I love them. Colors on line appear more peachy, they are .ore pink in person.

I bought these for my 2.5 year for her summer shoe. She really could have used a half size, but seems to be doing well in these. She can even put them on herself.

Adorable. My little girl loves to wear her Keens and they are perfect for exploring on hot days and tiptoeing through the creek. Easy to get on as the ankle strap opens completely and fastens with a pretty wide range of sizes depending on the size of your child's ankle.

These sandals are wonderful. They are sturdy support for a toddler, waterproof and cool for the summer months. They are a breathable, open sneaker. Very cute too!!

Great shoe for new walkers! Fits true to size, maybe a little wide for those pudgy feet. Fairly easy to get them on, but not so easy for the little one to get off. Will definitely buy another pair of Keens when she outgrows these!

I got these water shoes for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. The Whisper runs fairly true to size, perhaps slightly small; it is more "delicate" looking when compared to the Newport, which I prefer for girls. These are definitely very wide, which is typical for all Keen styles. They seem easy to get on and off and I am hoping these last the entire summer and our trip to Hawaii. So far, my daughter wears them without any issue, so they seem comfy right out of the box.

These shoes are awesome. Since kids tend to mostly wear these without socks, I'd tend to order the smaller of the sizes if they are in between. Exchanges via Zappos are also extremely easy and convenient. I ordered a pair for my son as well!

The color is a nice pink color and they seem sturdy - like they'll hold up all summer! A friend says they will start to stink really bad so we will see - I hope not!

I bought these for my 15-month old. They are perfect for daycare in the summer, since her toes need to be covered - great protection yet still breathable. They are super cute and are holding up very well - I know I'll be able to pass them on to her cousin in a year. The only drawback is that they slip off easily - she can take them off herself, and once in a while, they slip off on their own if the velcro isn't tight enough. But her feet are on the normal-to-slim side, so that may also be the cause.

We love Keen's for kids! They are durable, easily washed/cleaned, and hold up well for a warm season in New England. Only downside - our child's feet stink after wearing them for just a few hours. Remember this happening last year and with this season's pair it's happening again (but still worth it).

These are wonderful sandals for a walking toddler. The lining is soft and smooth and the whole shoe is flexible and easy to get on. The covered toes are great and the strap didn't leave any marks on my daughter's feet. Love them!

Love these. My daughter loved her Keens last year, and they held up so well they looked brand new at the end of the summer. Expect this pair to be the same.

I get a pair of these shoes for my daughter every summer. They are perfect for everything we do. She wears them from the playground to the beach to the boat. They do really well in water and on wet surfaces. She will continue to get them every summer.

My 15 mos olds a little smaller than a 4, I ordered a 4 and they are pretty big but hoping they will fit for summer. Otherwise we love them.

We buy our kids Keen shoes every year for summer wear. They hold up great and the kids love them. They do make their feet smell horribly (other parents and teachers at school also complain about it) but won't stop me from buying them because of comfort and duribility. Keens in general are a bit wide and I have found that the Whisper shoes seem to fit my petite daughter better than the H2s, which flop off of her foot. Even the Whisper is still a bit too big since it doesn't come with a toggle strap to tighten the smallest sizes.

Great shoes. Color goes well with most clothes. Toddlers can take them off easily (that could be a plus or minus for you). They are a little wide which works well for my kid.

The shoes are great. Delivered overnight as promised. But mostly I'm just impressed the the staff at Zappos and their amazing standards for customer service! I made an error and had order misdirected.... they were right on top of it. Thanks Zappos!

This is a great shoe. I've bough this shoe before for my old child. No complaints.

My toddler loves these shoese and I love that they are good for running around in the sprinklers and on the playground. No blisters or rubbings. Only wish that they dried faster.

Great summer shoe for play or casual dress. I bought one in pink and purple and both of my girls love them. Easy to put on for myself (Dad) or my girls.

Sadly, we have to return these. We love Keens, and our 2-year-old daughter wore a pair of H2s non-stop last summer. But the Whispers (toddler 7) are so wide! The length is right, but even with the Velcro as tight as possible, her heels pop right out. We can't get them tight enough. Bummer. Think twice if your little one has petite feet.
