This is your basic gym/cross-training shoe. It is, therefore, very light weight with some cushioning, mostly in the back half of the midsole. If you have issues with over-pronation, this shoe will not work for schlepping around town and will only function at the gym provided you are not doing high impact aerobics. Basically this is really comfortable shoe if you are looking for something that will not weigh you down during aerobics and provided you do not have foot/ankle/leg pain or issues to begin with. As another reviewer remarked, the tongue is unpadded, save a couple of small portions that cover the instep. If you end up tying this shoe too tightly, you are liable to choke the instep and cause pain across the top of your feet. A lot of Nike shoes fit widely, so I would say that people with narrow feet should be careful. Those with 2A feet will probably be swimming in these; A widths would probably be OK. I have a higher instep, so I am careful not to lace too tightly, but otherwise there is enough volume. I bought these shoes to do dance aerobics at home, so these fit the bill perfectly. I imagine they would be comfortable for walking outdoors if you have fairly healthy feet and joints (neutral pronation). Otherwise, these probably will not offer the right amount of cushioning and have absolutely no posting to control over-pronation. This is a training shoe, after all, not a running shoe.

I have been taking Zumba and Body Pump and have been looking for a shoe that I can use for both. These provide just enough grip for Body Pump without being too grippy for Zumba. There could be a bit more arch support, but compared to the other trainers I have tried from Nike, Ryka, and Asics these were by far the most comfortable. I had to order a half size up from my usual Nike size. They are a perfect width for my narrow feet.

I'm not a Nike fan but this pair of shoes is awesome. I use it mainly for Zumba class; it's the best one I've had. I've tried other shoes for Zumba and this is the only one that works for me.

These are great shoes for the gym! My personal trainer wanted me to stop wearing my running shoes in the gym. Their thick, wide heels and stability/motion control features were preventing me from developing good balance muscles in my feet and ankles and would catch on mats, etc. Enter the Nike XT Everyday Fits! The shoe gives just enough support and plenty of cushioning, but has a flexible enough sole to let me move in the exercise classes and to let my muscles do the balancing they should be. They are lighter weight than my old running shoes, too. I do no use my Fit+ accessories with these shoes, but I could.

These shoes give excellent support, and are extreme light weight. I can walk in them all day long and my feet don't get tired. They are a joy.

These are great gym/training shoes. They are versatile enough to wear during BodyPump/ BodyJam classes and for a quick run on the treadmill. I wear a size 6-1/2 in heels and dress flats, and the size 7 works for me.

These are a really nice color and the fit is nice and light. Only complaint is the tongue and it is made out of rubber which feels really strange on my foot (over my low rise socks). Alas, weird enough that I returned them.

Heavier than my last pair of Nike Free's, and I didn't care for the tongue of the shoe. It's made from a stiffer/plastic type material, not fabric, and sits high enough to rub against the front of my ankle. Style wise - was okay. My older model Nike frees have a "slimmer" look on the foot.

Great, light weight shoe for high impact workouts. These don't drag and catch like a lot of running shoes with heavy soles do. Love them!

I really love these shoes! They're great for workouts and simple training. Very flexible, very light, and also very stylish! This shoe works very well with the treadmill because of its lightness. :)

This is the third pair of this type of Nike Shoe I have purchased. I find them extremely lightweight and supportive. Great Mom "run around" shoe. Great for walking.

Great cross-trainers. Very lightweight yet very supportive. Super comfortable, too - the first pair I've had that I didn't feel like I needed to wear-in.

These are comfortable, cute and stylish! I am loving these shoes for running and boot camp classes. They do have a tiny squeak to them, but it does not bother me. Great purchase!

Love these shoes. They're not exactly stylish, but what sneaker is. Easy to use with my orthotic inserts. Definitely feel like my ankles are getting stronger from wearing them.

I'm liking these better now, but I am between sizes and felt these were a little short. After wearing around they feel better even tho my toe is close to the end. I usually wear an 11 in a Nike, but someone said these ran large, so I bought the 10 1/2. Also they are hard to get on if you have a high instep.

As usual Zappos delivered and I had my new sneakers overnight. I recommend these sneakers. They are very comfortable and stylish. I like the white look for summer and I am a big fan of purple, so this subtle combination really appeals to me. I did have to replace the laces as they were a bit to short for all the eyes available.

Pretty much the perfect shoe. Light, airy, and so cute! I normally get blisters from sneakers, but not these. Once I wear them for a few hours, I get a little discomfort on the outside of my foot, but they are the perfect shoe for the gym.

I love these shoes! They fit true to size, and they feel nice and supportive through the arch with room in the toes. I love the bright green as well. They look and feel great! And I love Zappos. These shoes are listed for full retail price on Nike, but here they're so much less expensive. Plus with the free super fast shipping, totally worth it.

I really like these shoes. They are very lightweight and really move with your feet. There is support, the flywire, on the insole. The color is like a dark salmon. Not really peach but not shocking pink. I also have wide feet, and these shoes do not have stiff leather in the wide part of the foot, so they feel comfortable.

I was looking for a shoe that I could cross train in - just started working with resistance bands/ stability ball exercises but also wanted something that I could run in. This shoe was recommended by the fabulous staff of John's Run/Walk Shop in Lexington, KY and it has been a perfect fit. No break in time, super light and comfortable and they're cute too. Highly recommend these; well worth the money!
