These shoes are very cute and nice and light-weight. They are great if you do exercises that include a lot of lateral movement. The first few times I wore them, I got quite a bit of chafing on the medial malleolus of my right leg that actually caused a scab. I thought about returning them, but decided to give them another week. As I have used the shoe, it has lost some of its stiffness and I no longer have that problem.

This XT is very comfortable, has great support and is excellent for cardio/plyometrics classes. I would definitely recommend it.

Great fit, but a squeaky shoe! Hoping it goes away, but have a feeling it's from the plastic tongue in the shoe. Bummer!

Great gym/cross-training shoe with pretty decent arch support and a comfortable, cushy, super flexible sole. I usually order a half size up in sneakers, but these fit true to size.

Comfortable shoe. Sides are a bit high and do dig into the ankles a bit, but I think with time and wear, it will soften up. Happy with my Zappos find.

The good is they feel good and not bulky which is what I was looking for my lunch hour elliptical sessions. The bad is they're squeaky and I can be heard coming down a hallway.

I loved how these looked and they were super light and flexible, but the side of the shoe was too high and rubbed against my ankle bone, which was uncomfortable. Sad to return them!

Good old Zappos! Ordered on Saturday, wearing 'em by Monday afternoon! I wanted a black or grey walking/running shoe that I could wear discreetly at work but it was difficult finding one that was completely dark. This one fit the bill pretty well. Unfortunately it does have a big white Nike written across the heel but I can live with that. Otherwise the shoe is very comfortable and nice looking. If I could change one thing it would be the synthetic tongue which comes up too high on the foot for my liking. I would recommend this shoe despite this.

Love the shoes, only complaint is that they squeak a little when I'm walking at home, but I don't notice it at work.

The imitation "leather" gives the shoe a very cheap appearance. Also, the toe is too pointy for my personal taste. However, the shoe fits well...we'll see how it wears. Probably wouldn't recommend this brand and would be hesitant to buy Nike again.

I am a Zumba instructor and got these sneakers for my class. They have a nice smooth bottom so they are easy to slide with and also very supportive. I also like how they are mesh in the toe area so it keeps my feet cool.

I have an older version of Nike Free shoes (about one year old). I absolutely love them and use them mostly for Zumba but I also do a little bit of running. I bought this pair to replace them and was disappointed. First, these shoes run big. I always wear a 9½ in Nikes and for these I should have ordered a 9. These shoes are also heavier that the other Frees I have. Finally, I agree with the other reviewers that the tongue is uncomfortable. It is fine if you wear long socks, but very annoying if you wear ankle socks. I thought the shoes looked nice. I am returning these and hunting for another pair of Nike Free shoes. I think these shoes will work fine for someone who likes nice looking, heavier Nike Free shoes (and who does not mind wearing socks that cushion the tounge). They just did not work for me.

I decided to buy this shoe based on the experience I have had with the Free Run shoe. I was disappointed with this shoe in comparison due to the stiffness of the Free XT everyday. I did not feel a connection with the ground that I feel with the Free Run. Also, I normally get an 8 in athletic shoes and this one just did not fit my foot well-didn't seem too big, just not a good fit for me. I should have stuck with the Free run. Thankfully Zappos makes it easy to return something that doesn't work.

These shoes look so great and I wanted to love them. They're probably great for casual shoes, but the toe box was very wide (even too wide for my bunion) and I felt unsupported. Sorry to have to return them.

I have a very long (women's size 12), narrow foot. I was thrilled that these shoes were big enough in the length, since many women's size 12s aren't, but the kicker was that my foot was sloshing around in the toe box. I also pronate like crazy and found that the provided arch support wasn't remotely adequate and I had to use my old insoles. Sadly, I have to send them back.

Purchased hoping they would work for a variety of gym workouts, but they do not have enough stability or cushion for anything other than walking around town. Slimming shoe even in size 12.

I thought this shoe was great until I tightened it up for extra support. The plastic tongue on this shoe is so uncomfortable. Wish they had padded the tongue. Nice cushion and support otherwise. I'm returning it.

I typically wear Nike size 8.5. However, these shoes are cut differently than typical Nikes. This style is cut narrower and longer. There is also a lot of plastic as opposed to canvas/fabric.

I wanted to keep this shoe because it was very comfy and didn't feel like it would need any breaking in. However, it literally squeaks when I walk around the house in it, seriously! I can't believe no one else has mentioned this so maybe I got a weird, defective shoe? If these did not make that awful noise, I would probably be using them instead of the Nike Air Max trainer.

Cute shoe but I had to return. My feet are somewhat wide but this shoe was so narrow I could barely get it on.

I wanted to love these shoes. Very light, and seemed comfortable. However, within two weeks I am having horrible heel pain. I thought the one prior review re: this was an anomaly but now, not so much. Definitely on the market for another pair of shoes.

Felt great when I tried it, but gave me plantar fasciitis within a week. The way the footbed distributes weight is all wrong. A painful lesson. Will not be wearing them again.

These shoes are the best walking shoe I've ever had! I've tried so many over the years but the support and comfort from the XT Everyday fit is incomparable to others...including New Balance, etc. I've been recovering from hip surgery and these have been wonderful!
