I love these! Merrell has a great reputation and I knew I had to buy comfortable practical shoes instead of just cute, often uncomfortable shoes, and these fit the bill. My feet are wide and the wide width fits great. They are extremely comfy right out of the box on bare feet.

I have 6 pair of Merrells, and 4 of those are Encore style that I've worn for years. (I'm glad there are different colors.) Always comfortable, great for walking.

There is no way you can find a more comfortable shoe than these. I wear all my Merrell shoes every day and my feet couldn't be happier. Only trouble is, there is no way you can wear them out!

The most helpful negative review of this product mentions a cat urine smell. A Nike rep once told me that this can be from the last of a batch of glue! Actual urine can be removed by washing with bleach; if this doesn't take smell away it's the glue! Just ask for a new pair.

I love these shoes! I am on my fourth pair and am getting ready to order them in red, which I've just recently been able to find. These shoes are so comfortable I wear them for everything--walking the dog, my own little walks, shopping, etc. They also go well with jeans or slacks. I'm hoping to get them in many colors. I've received many compliments and questions about them. Basically, they are all I wear - the dozen pairs of shoes(I'm a bit of a shoe nut) in my closet are out to pasture. The icing on the cake is getting them the next day after ordering from Zappos and for free! Anyone who has foot problems or is on their feet continuously and likes a comfortable, good looking shoe needs to try these.

The shoes arrived in a brief period of time and were in good shape. I was disappointed that they run large. I have an old, winter/leather pair, the same size, which fit much better. But are very comfortable. Service couldn't have been better!

A friend of mine who I was visiting on the Big Island was wearing these shoes. She slipped one off for me to try. It was so comfortable. I was really surprised, because it looks good too. I immediately went online and ordered a pair and within a few days I was strolling around in my Merrells.

My usual size is 9W -- when it arrived, it was just too big, and I walked out of the shoes. I exchanged them for an 8.5, which are perfect: wider in the toe box but not too wide in the heel. Love these shoes!

I'm a Californian living in Norway. When I visited the US in October, I ordered another pair of my favorite Merrells from Zappos, to be delivered to my sister's house, where I'd be staying for just three days before returning to Norway. The shoes were waiting for me when I arrived, as promised--but they were two sizes too big. My fault? Zappos' fault? They didn't even ask. When I called, the rep said, 'No problem. We'll have the right pair to you Second Day Air at no charge to you. Just send the other pair back whenever you have the chance." And so it happened. There's nothing like Zappos here in Norway...

This is the lightest most comfortable casual shoe I have ever worn. I am on my feet a lot and I wouldn't know it wearing these shoes. I'm going to get another color for the fall.

I work as a nurse and I am on my feet the entire 8 hour shift. I had 2 pair of this particular Merrell and wore them non-stop for over 2 years! I just ordered my second round of the same shoe. They are more comfortable than a slipper and provide great support. This Merrell has also been my main shoe on 3 different trips to Europe. Love them!

Color is not silver, more tan. Kind of boring, like a slipper. Runs big by about half size. Am looking for a walking shoe for Paris trip. Good walking sole and support, but it hit the top of my foot in a weird spot and I have nerve damage. Might have worked a half size smaller.

I purchased these shoes because Dr. Oz raved about them. When I purchased these shoes I also purchased the Easy Spirit Travel Time. I was extremely unhappy with the Merrells. The Easy Spirit Travel Time shoes had a lot more support inside, and were so much more comfortable. They look alot like the Merrells, but that's about it. I wonder if Dr. Oz has some kind of deal with Merrells, is that why he pushes these shoes!

I have worn encore breeze for years this is the first time I ordered Encore Breeze 2 They have changed the shoe, terrible fit, the arch is too high and doesn't hit in the right part of the foot. It actually hurts to walk on this clog! Whoever changed the design needs to put the clog back to the way it was! Also we need more bright colors in the Encore Breeze regular shoe, red, purple yellow, happy colors, I am very disappointed with this shoe and will only order the regular Encore Breeze!

I had high hopes for these shoes but found them to be uncomfortable - they were too rigid and clog-like and my foot was going up and down in the back in an uncomfortable manner. I also didn't find the inner sole to be immediately comfortable which is what I had been looking for. Lastly I have flat feet and the arch was quite uncomfortable.

Encore Breeze is excellent for comfort, especially if you are dealing with plantar fascitis. This shoe allows your feet to rest and walking longer distance pain free makes it an essential piece of your daily wardrobe. When a dress shoe is necessary ring these with you to change into after the dress up shoe is out of view.

This is my third pair of Merrells in this style. I love them for summer wear. Support and comfort for all day walking with style! I'm not sure if Merrell recomends it but I also throw them in the wash. The come out of the machine like new.
