I am so pleased with my Merrell Lorelei Zip shoes. I bought them for a trip to London and wore them all day for the first time the day I left Atlanta for the trip. Each day we walked between 5 and 10 miles and, on one occasion when the elevators weren't functioning, climbed 87 steps to get from the Underground to street level. My Merrells never let me down! I am a relatively inactive senior citizen and was afraid I would have aching feet, back, legs, etc. on this trip. Just didn't happen. I have worn these shoes nearly all my waking hours since buying them. I highly recommend them.

This is a great commuting shoe. It's as comfy as a sneaker but not obnoxious looking with a skirt. I am hard to fit and need arch support; these work great for me.

I needed a shoe I could do a lot of walking in and be comfortable. When I first tried these on, I thought they were too loose. I usually wear orthotics and so the sales clerk opened a new box of orthotics and put them in the shoe. Fabulous, they fit perfectly. I wore them through two major airports and have walked all over a major city. No problems and very comfortable.

This is a fantastic comfort shoe. I have an art studio and am on my feet most of the day. I bought Merrell Lorelei Zip in the deep tan color last spring and wore it on a trip, resulting in my wearing it all the time. So I decided to add a pair in black to my wardrobe this fall. The black makes your foot look smaller if that matters to you. It's so lightweight and so comfortable right out of the box that I wear it for exercise, travel, and work. It's so easy to slip on and zip up, and can be worn with or without a sock. The removable foot bed is a plus. It's also true to size and though one of my feet is a little larger than the other, the last feels great on both feet, which is important if you need lasting comfort. The is the best Merrell shoe I've purchased.

I love this Merrell all black shoe. This is my bike shoe since it has no laces. It is super comfy to wear anywhere all the time.

They are wider in the footbed so they don't look as slim as in the past but not too much so especially with socks.

I could not believe how great this shoe feels on my feet and me with one foot that just got stitches out. Best I have had on in a very long time.

I bought my Lorelei's 4 months ago, right before my knee replacement surgery and they have been worth every penny! I'm still recovering (slowly)and a bit antsy about walking and these shoes keep me grounded. I've worn nothing else since surgery. Of course, I love Merrell shoes anyway, as well as Zappos.

Loved the shoe, but the size 6 is at least a half size too big for me. Will be returning for a smaller size.

These shoes are super comfortable. They ran a little bigger than marked. I wear an 11 in another pair of Merrells, but these seem bigger. The first time out, the back of the shoe cut in, but it seems to be better now after a few wearings. Overall, really comfortable and light.

I love these shoes! They were comfortable from the first moment I put them on. They are stylish, but very practical and comfy. Definitely worth the price. I plan to buy the blue ones, too.

I love these shoes. They fit a little roomier than my last pair of Merrell's, but they are so comfortable! Shipping was fast, and I just love the customer service at Zappos.

My favorite overall shoe. Have them in 4 colors. Extremely comfortable and sizes run true. Much more attractive than tennis shoes.

This shoe is amazing. It accommodates my insert and feels secure on my foot. I wish I would have found it sooner.

I bought Lorelei in the blue, and have had many compliments! It fits well, and is very comfortable. I do wear a short sock with it for more comfort. I wear European size 39/US size 9 most of the time. I bought size 8½ which are just right. Thank you, Zappos, for such good service.

These run big. I had to return and will be ordering a half size smaller.

These were immediately comfortable, no break in required. I agree with others though, there's something odd about the zipper. It's difficult to get up and down. I may very well order another pair in the black.

Fabulous shoes, the best walking shoe in the world. If I didn't get tired I could walk 500 miles in these!

I bought these shoes to wear in surgery and in the office all day long (I work as a PA in orthopedics). They seem to get the job done. Comfy and easy to put on, and seem pretty supportive. I'd recommend them for those in the healthcare field or those who walk a lot or are traveling.

It is a comfortable but looks nicer on picture. Size a bit smaller than expected. All in all is a good pair of shoes.

Good fit, very comfortable. If you have any problems with balance, this shoe is a great help.

I ordered one-half size up from my usual and this shoe is just right with the orthotics I use for very high arches.

Years ago, I bought a pair of mesh Merrells similar to these and they are well-worn. I have been searching everywhere for these shoes and thanks to Zappos, I have found them. I bought them in white and fuchsia and am so thrilled that Zappos carries them. I have some walking difficulties and these shoes are perfect for comfort, style and support. Though expensive - they are well worth the money.

Surprisingly perfect! I recently started having serious ball of foot pain on standing and walking and have tried a million shoes ranging from highly padded, structured (think Keen, J-41) to minimalist running styles (Merrell & Vivo barefoot types). The Loreleis have turned out to be absolutely the best for me: The soles are super flexible and thin but seem to have great traction and lots of room for really "using" your feet on different terrain. I was worried that they wouldn't be shock absorbing or cushy enough on the ball of my feet where the pain is, but I'm not finding this to be the case at all. The sole, while super flexible and lightweight, seems to have a good amount of shock absorbing denseness while still allowing your foot and toes to spread out (reducing shock to any one part of the ball of your foot) and conform to the ground. Works for me! I haven't used them for scrambling around on rocky trails and slippery slopes, but I have a feeling they'll be great for that. Extremely happy with my purchase. Wish they came in more colors.
