I love my new backpack and get lots of compliments on the cool design. There is plenty of room to fit all my school supplies, gym clothes and lunch pack everyday to school. I use the outside mesh pockets to store my water bottle in for class. The padding on the straps and pack of the backpack make it so comfortable to wear as I carry it all day from class to class as we dont use lockers! I play ice hockey and use it to carry my ipad and homework when I go om hockey trips because we fly and drive all over the country! It is the perfect size as it fits nicely under my airplane seat and doesnt take up much room in the car when we are driving to hockey tournaments. I love my Northface backpack and know it will last me for a long time! I plan to give it to someone who may need a backpack when I grow out of it!

I brought this for my son who started his first year in Pre-k big boy school! He loves and adores his bag so much that we brought the smaller one to use as his snack bag. He gets compliments on the both of them all the time, and he just looks like such a big boy! I am extremely happy with the purchase and will continue to be a customer for years to come! P.s my daughter also has one!

I have this backpack for my Kindergartener, 1st grader and even my petite 4th grader has one because it's the absolute perfect size! Most backpacks are huge and bulky. This backpack is very comfortable and has a sleek design that fits perfectly on my children's back!

I got this bag for my daughter. The moment the layed eyes on it she HAD to have it. I was completely unaware I was shopping in the wrong section. She needed a woman's bag not a child's size bag. She was so upset when we received it and it was entirely too small. Had it fit her school belongings she would've used it. However it did not. So we are returning it ans have since ordered a new bag. The woman's jester backpack has yet to come but we sure are looking forward to it.

I love this backpack, it is perfect for a young child in school (pre-school/kindergarten), but will need a bigger backpack once they go into first grade, its light and fits my kindergarteners folders and school supplies perfectly! Next year after he goes to a bigger backpack this bag will be great for trips, or hiking.

I had bought this product for my 6 year old son and he absolutely love it!!! I love all the features of it great for a youth kid!!!

Our relatively small 9 year old loves this backpack. Her 1.5" binder is a little snug, but the zipper still closes completely. It comfortable and light weight, and she of course loves the design.

This is my daughter's new back pack for school. She absolutely loves it!! Upon first look, it appears a little on the small side, but once she opened it up and put her school books in it, we quickly realized that it is the perfect size. Thank you!!

I use this bike on a delay basis for school. Its very comfortable and a couple of things can fit in it. But I usually like north face bags they have many designs and colors.

Bought two of the Youth Recon Squash Backpacks in the lightning bolt pattern for my 5yo twin boys, who started kindergarten this year. I have my own North Face pack that I always use for our travel/hikes/etc., so I trust the quality to hold up over time/constant use. I wanted bags that would be big enough to fit folders, notebooks, and a lunch box, but not be too bulky or heavy - this pack is perfect. The boys love the pattern, have no problem getting the straps on and off, and can easily open all of the pockets.

Cute and comfortable!

Love this backpack for my daughter for kindergarten. It is smaller than an adult backpack, but can fit folders, school supplies, snack, and change of clothes; the adjustment straps are easy to shift and even though she is a peanut (42") the bag fits great. The pinks are vibrant and beautiful, there are many nooks and mesh pockets for goodies, and a place to label my daughter's name. She is absolutely in love with it!

Purchased this backpack for my daughter who is going into kindergarten this year. It fits great, with lots of room to grow. The padded back adds extra comfort and I can easily see her using this for travel as well. The color is true to the item photo, there are plenty of pockets, and the bag seems very durable with high quality construction. Overall, I would highly recommend this backpack.

I bought this backpack for my 4 year old son. He will be starting pre-k in 6 days. I was looking for a comfortable and durable backpack and I think I found it. I was a little apprehensive that it might be big on him but it was the perfect size. Ever since my mom bought me my first North Face backpack at the start of high school, it's been with me through college and all my travels after, I had to buy one for my son. So I'm eager to see my little one use his for his time in school and travels.

My daughter loves this backpack!

I got this for my 3 yr old to begin preschool, and now I use it just as much as he does. Every mom knows that we lug all our kids stuff around... Loving this backpack as it keeps everything on my back (yes, it fits me too!), it's small and not bulky, and keeps me hands free... Then can transfer onto my preschooler with just a tug on the straps. I wish I would have had this sooner... It would have taken the place of a diaper bag and could have grown with him til kindergarten!

Great for my five year old about to start kindergarten. I don't expect her to be carrying heavy loads, so I think it will do just fine carrying folders, a small pencil case, lunch, and a snack. Only wish it had a few more inner pockets to keep things organized, but there is a large and small compartment and two side mesh pockets.

We bought this bag for my son and loved it so much we bought one for my daughter when she started school. It's built to last and the kids love it!
