My daughter has wide feet so her dance teacher recommended Bloch brand. Seem to do the trick and I’m happy with price point. Definitely reordered for my preschooler’s growing feet well before the shoe was worn down. Good quality, I recommend.

Perfect for my 3 and 4 year old tap dancers. Had to get it in a W for my 4 year old.

My daughter is exactly a size 13, starting to buy 13.5 in Target shoes and Vans brand. The 13 fits more like a 13.5 --- maybe even 13.75 -- but the heel keeps the shoe on her foot with room in the toe. Feels better made than the Capezio brand tyette.

Great! We ordered 1 1/2 size up since the dance studio sized her at a 10. Love that they have 1/2 sizes!

My daughter wears a 10. I read review that this shoe ran small and knew to get tap shoes big. Ordered her an 11 and it was perfect

I ordered a whole size larger than my daughter’s street shoe size per the other reviews & they fit perfectly with a little room to grow. I love the elastic band that is under the tied ribbon; it really helps keep the shoe on. The shoes are really cute & my 3 year old hasn’t complained at all, so they must be pretty comfortable.

Needed to order a size larger. However, these were able to for my daughter's wide width foot and were comfortable.

We like this brand over another brand due to the shape of the shoe. My daughter's feet skinny and long. These tend to be a bit narrower (or the other brand is too wide) and they fit perfectly. This is our second pair.

Very well made and comfortable shoes. My daughter was very excited to get these, and she really liked the comfort and the fit. She said that these shoes felt great even on the very first use without having to wait for breaking in.

I originally got the wife since dance shoes seem to run narrow, but ended up exchanging them for the mediums. They fit perfectly and zappos exchange policy made it so easy and fast! Also, these two shoes have soft edges so they don't cut into feet. We've had other dance shoes in the past that were very painful and these are not one of them.

My 3 year old has very wide chunky feet. This is her first year in tap class, and we were having a hard time finding shoes that fit. We tried two different wide sizes in Capezio brand and they were still way too skinny, and the elastic band at the top was too small. I ordered this brand because I saw other reviews that said that they were wider. They were much much much better. I was even surprised to see that the elastic band had a snap closure on it as well. Only thing is I wish I would have ordered a bigger size. She's in a sneaker size 8 and I bought an 8.5W but I think she will need a size 9 before spring. I've heard that dance shoes run funny in comparison to her sneakers and that so far is true! But I am very happy with the Bloch shoes and Zappos!

Love these for my daughter who just finished her first year of tap. The wide width was much wider than other brands we tried on and fit great. They lasted all year and now I'm buying a second pair only to size up. The ones from last year still look brand new.

These shoes are great for my 4 year old's dance class. I took the advice and ordered one size up (she is wears an 11 so I ordered a 12) and they fit with just enough room to grow a bit. I didn't order the wide and they are fine on her feet. She loves them! She immediately put them on and started tapping around the house.

This is our 4th pair of Annie Tyette tap shoes from Bloch over the years...it is our 10th pair of Bloch shoes and we have an 11th pair on the way! We love Bloch...shoes, tights, leotards...we love everything Bloch makes. The taps are thicker than other brands so they sound better, the patent leather is thicker and sturdier than other brands and they just fit better than other brands. Our favorite feature is the elastic so a child who doesn't know how to tie their own shoes yet can still get into their tap shoes on their own! Highly recommend!

My daughter had them on right away tapping around the house. They have a snap closure in addition to the tie, which is nice.

I loved the information and comments from other buyers on the width of this shoe. It helped me decide to buy this brand as my 3 year old granddaughter didn't fit into the Capezios I bought at another store. She loves them and her dance class.

These tap shoes are the best!! My daughter will not wear any other tap shoe. The only problem is that I'm not sure what I'm going to do when she has outgrown the sizes they offer.

These are great beginner tap shoes, like them better than the Capezio. Tap shoes do run narrow, so I ordered a wide and they work perfectly. Zappos customer service was exceptional as usual.

I bought these for my 4 year old granddaughter. She absolutely loves them. There was no break in period, no blisters. Great value. Well made. Highly recommend these shoes and tap shoes in general as a gift for a little girl.
