I bought these because I have wide feet, bunions and a narrow heel. They have worked well for my daily three mile walks, though when I first wore them I did have sore spots on my bunions because they are leather instead of the softer mess that I usually wear in a walking shoe and I needed to get them stretched a bit. They have good support and serve well as a walking shoe, especially in the winter when I am outside and need to keep my feet warm. I probably will not wear them during the summer because I like mesh tops then that help keep my feet cool.

The shoe has a nice look to it and fits well. I have an extra wide foot and high instep. These are comfortable and supportive. I would buy them again.

Very quick shipment. I deliberately bought a size larger wand wider than I normally wear due to foot problems and this worked great. More toe room and nothing is rubbing. Not as cushiony as I normally expect from Saucony. I wish they had this in cloth for summer breathability.

Was hoping this shoe would give me a lot of padding, but I had ordered it in a half size larger than my normal and WW and it was too large & too wide, will try again.

Hadn't been able to find wide width shoes at local stores. Thought I would try these as they got good reviews. Loved them right out of the box. I joined gym again this winter and have been walking miles and miles on the treadmill and my feet have felt great! Just yesterday I was thinking of buying another pair in a different color.

These worked great with my prosthetic inserts (recovering from bunionectomy). The first few weeks I wore them it also seemed like they were covered in Teflon because they stayed REALLY white. I wore them almost every day for a year and finally gave up because I rubbed a hole in the back of the heel padding inside the shoe. They look like orthopedic shoes and do not impress anyone with their style but they are comfortable and pragmatic. I would recommend to people with foot issues like mine.

Great shoes! I wear these my busy job in a hospital, and then I walk 3+ miles home in them. Very comfortable, no break-in period. My only complaint is that they're a bit noisy (creak when I'm shifting body position while standing). Other than that, they rock!

I had high hopes for these shoes and still may try again in a different size. The problem for me was even in the wide width (D) they were still too tight across the forefoot. It's possible they would have stretched but I didn't want to take a chance on them rubbing there. They do also have a somewhat tapered toe, though roomy toebox. Again, for me it began tapering too near my big toe so might have caused trouble there. If I go to the double W (EE), they will be way too big in the heels & instep. I was lucky the D with were workable in the heels as I have wide feet in front with a narrow heel. I may just go up another size to get a little more width too. I actually already went up one size, so I think these run at least 1/2 size short. And as someone else said in a review, I think closer to a C width than D. Hope this description is helpful; I really appreciate detailed reviews myself. Granted I'm hard to fit so you might have better luck. Mega-thanks to Zappos which allows me to eventually find shoes I can wear (and when I do I intend to buy more than one pair of each so I don't have to go through this again). Except for the specific problems mentioned, I think in other ways these would have been comfortable, though not attractive, but I wouldn't care if they fit (unfortunately with my hard to fit feet I don't have the luxury to have much choice in style).

The shoes are pretty comfortable. The biggest draw for me is that their completely black. I'm partial to the Saucony brand and they stopped making the black/black Saucony Jazz. They aren't as comfortable as the Jazz's are; the back comes up higher than the jazz and is above my sock line (I wear low ankle socks) and the back of the shoe rubs on the top of my ankle. :/ It's a small price to pay to be able to wear Sauconys and be compliant with uniform regulations.

Needed a leather sneaker for walking outside in the cold weather. I tried the 6.5 B (my usual size) but felt a bit snug with a mid-weight sock. If wearing with a regular weight sock would have kept 6.5 B. Returned for 6.5 W. Keeping the 6.5W, but feels a bit large. Wasn't sure if I should keep this sneaker, but not many other choices with good support. This sneaker can feel a bit heavy. May feel better as the weather gets colder.

I needed to find a wide shoe with a generous toe box that provided stability. i have had a lot of foot surgery for bunions, hammer toes, etc. I found this shoe to be more comfortable and stable than most. The shoes are still a bit stiff even after a few weeks and daily walks of at least a mile and a half. I would like them to be softer, but all in all, they've satisfied.

This shoe was great - almost. Maybe I got a bum right shoe, but it really forced my right foot into an over-pronate position, and the right shoe was too deep and hit my ankle bones just wrong. I was tempted to re-order right away but decided to hold off so I didn't end up with a pair from the same lot.

The shoes look like ones my 90 year old mother in law wore. But, they're comfortable and great for walking 3+ miles in a day. I've had two foot surgeries during the past 2 years and appreciate comfort over style.

These were really comfortable. I have a big toe joint issue so have to have a big toe box shoe. These fit from the first that I put them on; however, the leather didn't wear well. After 4 months I was looking for something else to wear.

Bought these to replace my Saucony Triumphs, hoping that a walking shoe (since walking is mostly what I do) might be a little more durable in the heel area. My running shoes always wear down on the outside of the heel after 5-6 months, leaving me with back and knee pain. So we'll see how that goes. So far, these 10.5 wides are nicely roomy in the toe area. They feel a tiny bit slippy in the heel when I first put them on, but it goes away after a minute or two. I put my own orthotics in them, and they feel great. I could wish they weren't so dreary looking, but cool weather is on the way and they'll just look like hiking shoes under a pair of jeans.

I really like these shoes but unfortunately, with all my foot problems, it wasn't until I had worn them outside that I realized the toe box was not wide enough to accommodate my neuroma and bunion. When I wore them around the house, I was excited about them, cushiony and cute. $80 gone...now I'll try the wide width...indoors only.

I really wanted to like these shoes but they are a near miss for me. I am looking for narrow width athletic shoes. I wore New Balance for years but lately even their narrows are too wide. The Sauconys are almost narrow enough--like everything, still too wide in the heel for me. The arch support is decent, though I would still add an orthotic or substitute it for their insole. But the bigger problem is that the heel counter comes up too high on the back/side of my foot and rubs uncomfortably. Maybe with wear they would soften up but I'm not willing to risk it.

Loved these the minute I put them on. Wide width is perfect. Usually wear New Balance and love those too.

Shoes are stylish and provide a comfortable feeling. My comparison with previous shoes is that this shoe provides more support and comfort.

Okay...these shoes are not very pretty, but after a foot injury they have become the only shoes that I can wear for any length of time while I am healing. I usually wear an 8.5-9 in shoes and for comfort I ordered a 9.5 wide. They are perfect!

So far so good. The shoes are really comfortable! I had to get plain, closed-toe, black or white shoes for nursing school and these have been great. They're great for running around the floor and standing all day.

Shoes are what I expected. They fit well, both in terms of length and width. I appreciate being able to buy a 10-1/2 W shoe. Wish there were still more colors to choose from in this size.

I really like this shoes. I'm not sure they are very fashionable being all white but they work for me. They are comfortable even though they are quite sturdy.

I have horrible feet. It's just a fact of life. I went to Zappos.com after being unable to find solid black shoes that I liked. I bought these after reading the rave reviews. They are comfortable and have a nice toe box, but I don't feel they have any more cushion or support than other shoes. I just wish I could find a shoe that actually cushions my step.

I've been looking for a pair of shoes to replace a discontinued pair of Reebok sneakers. These are about as close as I have come. I ordered them in my normal size 7.5M which was too big so I reordered in 7M and they fit well. I decided to wear them to see if I wanted to order additional pairs. As all leather shoes do, they stretched and are now too wide. I have ordered them in Narrow and hopefully this will solve the problem. They have a nice arch and are overall comfortable.
