Extremely comfortable and stylish. Great to wear with pants or shirts. I have flat feet so i had to insert my arch support into my shoes with no problems.

My 12 year old daughter loves these. Comfortable, walked long distances in them. Easily scuffed, however, need to get some polish to try and fix up after wearing only twice.

Loved the look of these shoes. They took a little bit of wearing in but once they stretched out a bit they were extremely comfortable. They did get holes in the soles within 4-5 months of wearing them and the zipper on the left shoe broke within 1 month. I just ended up wrapping the laces around the boot for security but it would have been nice to have the zipper, especially on rainy days. These boots are super cute, I received a lot of compliments, but for the price I just wish they would have held up a little longer.

These boots are attractive. The side zipper makes it easy to get them on and off even going through airline security. The laces do not always stay tied.

This boot is nice. It's not tight around the leg at all. It's a little on the looser side which is what I wanted. It seems looser than in the picture. You can wear thick socks and/or leg warmers without the boot constricting your leg. Also they look amazing. They can do-up an outfit and they can also be very casual. They go with just about everything. They seem fairly durable as well. They're not heavy duty sturdy though. They're fairly comfortable. Also there is not really any grip on the bottom of the boot towards the front and only the heel has grip. But once the bottom gets scuffed up a little there really isn't any problem. The quality is decent/good but it could be better considering how much they cost. But if you value style than it's worth the money.

These shoes are wonderful. I have them in black and they go with everything! They took a little breaking in before they felt completely comfortable but it was never uncomfortable and feels great now. They look good with dresses and skinny jeans and leggings. My only complaint is that they run a bit long - I'm usually an 8 and these are quite roomy - but it means I can wear thick socks no problem. Great shoes!

Zappos is amazing as always and had these to me super quick! This boot (I got it in black) looks better in person and works w/ tights or skinny jeans. For me there was a break-in period, mainly the stitching over the toe did not want to bend and was tight across my narrow foot. I can't say they were "comfortable" right out of the box; I live in Boston and do a ton of walking. I do however own a wooden shoe stretcher (also purchased from Zappos) and I kept this boot stretching for a week and the problem was solved! I highly, highly recommend a shoe stretcher. I haven't worn these in wet weather and likely won't given all the negative comments here about sole issues. I would however recommend the Troopa if you are looking for a cute boot to get you through the fall and dry winter days.

These are great boots I wear them with almost everything. I walk everywhere since I live in a city, and they have held up for a year with only moderate wear in the heel. Otherwise, they look almost brand new. The best thing about them is that I had room to squeeze in a Dr. Scholls arch support pad. The leather eventually stretched out so that it's not as tight as it was when I first bought them. They are super comfortable!

I'm a 15 year old girl and I got these shoes about two months ago and I love the style. These shoes go well with almost any outfit I can put together, and add some edge to my daily style. They are super comfortable for walking around school, or even doing yard work. My only problem with these shoes is that they scuff easily, if I scrape them on a rock or even pavement it will leave a scuff on the toe. This is my only problem with the shoes, if you get them and you want to keep them in pristine condition you will have to be careful. I would defiantly get these shoes again, and I love them!

I read mixed reviews about this shoe yet I was willing to give it a try because it's the exact style I was looking for. At first I ordered a 6.5, which ended up too narrow. I exchanged it for a 7 (thanks Zappos) and it fits just fine with plenty of toe wiggle room even with wool socks. I heard about the shoddy soles that it wears off easily and cracks. To prevent this, prior to using it, I took it to a cobbler to fit new soles with "winter grips," which came with free leather conditioning. I've had this shoe for going on one month now, worn it everywhere and have had no problem. The soles have not cracked, the leather has not scuffed and the body is holding its form. It hasn't snowed yet but I'm sure I'll be walking on icy sidewalks just fine with the winter soles. Bottom line is that I do recommend these shoes. It cost me extra for cobbler fees but I buy shoes so infrequently and tend to keep and use things forever that it's worth the extra hassle to make sure this lasts as long as it's worth.

Cute! I got them in black, size 6. They are the perfect width but a little long. I wish Zappos could stock these in size 5 and 5.5! I'll get them somewhere else in size 5 and 5.5 and see how well they fit.

These boots are awesome! They are my go to, for skinny jeans and leggins! I read other reviews about cracked soles, but mine are great so far, no problems at all. I've had them since August.

Love the style and the leather. I have ordered this boot more than twice. I am usually an 8.5 in most shoes and boots. But this boot was huge in 8.5, ordered an 8 still big. So now I ordered a 7.5 !! Thank you Zappos for making my boot shopping easy since I dont have a mall near me that carries steve madden boots.

The boots aren't quite as beautiful as they look in the picture, but they are very nice - comfortable, stylish. Have only had them for a month, and I'm waiting to see how sturdy they will be. Overall, I'm glad I bought them - other boots in the same style are priced so much higher.

They take some breaking in but they are really comfortable cute boots. They are great in the rain too! Your feet will be perfectly dry. My only complaint is the sole is really hard so it gets tons of gravel lodged in the bottom and little chunks of it get taken out by rocks. Nothing a trip to a shoe repair place couldn't deal with though.

I got the black Troopa boots a few days ago. These boots are adorable, and totally on trend this season. The size and width is good, but the leather is stiff, even after a few solid days of wear. I really like them, and I won't be returning them, but they are stuff around the ankle.

These boots are so cute! The leather is soft, and the color is exactly what it looks like online. Unfortunately, the toe box area wasn't very roomy, and the crease that forms when you walk dug into the top of my foot. I might try to go up a size, but think my feet may be too wide for this style. Wish they had worked out!

Very comfortable and stylish. The workmanship is excellent with the exception of the rubber piece on the heels, which is just glued on. One rubber piece actually came off before even wearing the boots. A quick trip to the shoe repair guy to nail the rubber piece into the wooden heel cost $12.00. Once I start wearing the boots this fall, I hope the heel problem will be solved.

I love these boots. I have had them for a couple months now and they have been serving me well. They came looking very worn already if you get the caramel color but I like that about them. The laces actually tie up but I can never seem to get them really tight; I tend to wear them with skinny jeans though so that is never a huge problem. The sole is rubber and the boots themselves are pretty comfortable. They are very cute overall and I get compliments on them all the time.

These look homey with skirts, laid back with jeans and pretty rock with my skinny jeans. They are as great as the photo. I have worn them many places.

the ankle part was too big. I laced them as tight as possible but they were still too loose around ankle and calf.

Very cute style, but not a boot to walk all day in. Style over comfort!
