Wonderful shoe - Very comfortable for all day wear. True to size and wears well. I can see I will have this pair for a long time.

Much like the other reviews, I found these shoes to be really heavy, so be aware. I am a consistent 8.5 and found them a bit large, I have to wear heavy socks to make them snug enough to be comfortable to walk in. Overall, warm and a very distinct look. Color is true to the picture.

Leaf - I got these in a 5.5 and the heel is a bit loose and could probably try a 5...the leaf finish is not quite as 'green' as it is a moss/blackish color. They are a bit heavy, but expected that from a Frye shoe. Oh, and they are fabulous with skinny jeans!

Heavy...but looks great! The mule is lighter than the boot but still very heavy because of the construction. It is very stylish, and the wide heel makes walking easy. Looks great with jeans.

Very cool looking clogs and they fit fine, but they are very heavy (be ready for that) and they make my feet (size 7 1/2-8) look enormous! I look like I'm wearing my husband's shoes?! I'm hoping they will grow on me. They do have that tough look going for them. I'm going to keep them, but, sorry Frye, they need a re-design. I wouldn't buy them again.

Hip but heavy - Shoes are great looking, with arch support, great for standing, but weight of shoe gave my knees an aching.

Loved the look but..... Two words...TOO heavy! I should have taken other reviews to heart regarding the weight of these very attractive mules. If I could just stand in them and admire the look I would have kept them but I needed to walk in them. Besides being unacceptably heavy they also felt clunky. The heels could have been a little higher for the longer style bootleg jeans that these were meant to be paired with. If they could make these with lighter materials I would be back in a flash.

I am in love with these shoes!! They look so fabulous with a pair of jeans or cords. I wear an 8 1/2 so reading the reviews, I ordered a half size smaller but the 8's were too big so Zappos exchanged them for a 7 1/2 and they fit right. My feet feel nice and snug in them so even though the shoes are heavy, I have a good grip on them when I am walking (since your heels do pop out). I wear them with no socks and just love the way they look.

Frye Harness Mule - Great Mule..Although I had to exchange them for a size smaller they fit great..they look great with jeans..

Very cool shoe - Very cool and comfortable; I could wear with bare feet the first time. I would order 1/2 size up if I wanted to wear heavier sox.

How cool are these? I'm in love. I already have the harness boots, but these mules are perfect with skirts and capris. I think its great that these are made in America. I hope Frye doesn't get the idea to make these in China.

love my fryes - Just love them, though I had to send back for a half size smaller. I ordered the chestnut which are a awesome color, when I can afford to. I am ordering the tan crazy too. Made extremely well, that's Frye for ya.

One hot Mule! This mule is excellent! It is comfortable with a great, solid feel to it. A very hip fashion statement!

Same shoe for less on Zappos! I'm loved this shoe when I saw it in a magazine. I thought I might be able to find it cheaper so I went on line to Zappos. I got the same shoe and saved ALOT! I also got free shipping. yipee!!

Frye Mule - Great looking shoe: true to size, rugged, comfortable. If you accidentally scratch the leather, just rub it with your finger and the scratch disappears. Love it!

Made in USA - These are so cool! I did have to exchange them for a half size larger.

My shoe size falls between 5.5 and 6M and the 5.5 is the perfect size. I also have a narrow heel. For me, this mule is cut truest to size and width than the 12 inch and 8 inch Harness boots, which I also have. This is a versatile, between season shoe that looks good with jeans and doesn't require care. It will probably look better as it becomes more worn. It's a little heavy in weight, but quite sturdy and very comfortable without socks. Besides, who is going to pick up your shoe while you're out and about? I'm very happy with these shoes!

Doesn't require any break-in. Very comfortable from the start. Should order 1/2 size down.

Rockin' Mules! I've been a Harness Boot girl for a long time and now I'm a Harness Mule girl. I took the other gals' advice and opted for a 1/2 size smaller, and they couldn't be any better. Great looks, great feel, and loads of compliments.

Boot Lovers - The perfect boot for summer. I've been wearing Frye since high school and didn't hestitate buying 2 pair of these great shoes - what I call my summer boots. Black and Crazyhorse. Comfortable doesn't even completely describe the amazing feeling these shoes offer! Try them and you'll see.

Boot look without the hassle - I really like these clogs for the Frye look without the weight of a full boot. (And no break in time.) Easy to slide on and comfortable for walking.

I love them - They fit great, I have wide feet and was worried they would be tight, but they fit and look great. They well made. Worth the money.

I wanted to like these, but I felt that I would be gripping with my toes to keep them on while I walked around in them. They are heavy, but attractive and well built. I have a lot of feet issues, and probably this boot would of suited me better with a back, just to keep my foot in place.
