I have very wide feet and really want to love these. I can wear them in stints for a day or so but not for multiple days in a row as I will develop blisters on my smallest toe. Going larger sizes also didn’t seem to help.

I've had 6 pair of Vans the past 4 years. This is my second pair of the SK8-HI; the first pair I bought last year fit perfect and wore out....heads up--the sole prematurely comes unglued, but I really liked the comfort and glued them (repeatedly). Ironically, this new pair is WAY too narrow for the exact same size and shoe. I wear a 9.5 and have never had this problem before; I wore them the first day to work to stretch them thinking they would adjust; boy was I wrong. Now stuck with Narrow shoes--wtf Vans?

The sizing on the shoe was weird. The Zappos suggested half size bigger was too big, and the actual size was too small. It’s too bad because they seemed like they would be comfortable.

I haven't worn these much since I bought them. I think that I just keep reaching for my converses that I added arch support in. They make my feet look bigger than I would like, and they are hard to get on and off. They seemed too snug of fit. I had seen a friend of mine wear some that looked worn down and small, maybe a size five in women's, and her's looked so cute. It doesn't translate like that into the bigger sizes though. Oh well.

Some vans have leather on the inside of the shoe. These do not. I can imagine that this means a shorter life, but they will look cool until then. Sad part is it's suede on the outside.

My husband usually wears a 9.5 in many styles and brands of shoes. The 9.5 is too small. I need to exchange them for a 10.

I want to love these shoes, but only 4 months in and theyre falling apart. I've been wearing these every day for work and I walk about 10000 steps a day according to my phone's pedometer.
No skateboarding in these. And I haven't even worn them in rain or any weather besides sunshine (texas is sunny, yall)
The problems:
The left shoe has had the upper suede separate at the lace eyelets. In addition, the suede itself is tearing. Also two eyelets are tearing towards each other.
Both shoes are having an issue where the black rubber around the edge is separating from the waffle tread.
Why am i putting shoe goo on a 4 month old shoe thats been used for walking around the inside of a library all day?
The good:
very very comfortable, great ankle support and just enough cushion without losing tactile response. I barefoot run and I enjoy a shoe that allows me foot to feel the ground. Some people might hate that.
Conclusion:
Great shoe is you want to spend $80 every few months. I am going to buy some shoe goo and see if they can't last a little longer. I am extremely disappointed in the quality/longevity as I find these shoes exceptionally comfortable.
Going back to adidas, my sambas lasted for 3 years of heavy use and abuse. finally gave away months after using them for daily longboarding

I love Vans, I've been wearing them for years, but I WILL NEVER purchase the pro version of these shoes again. I usually just buy the classic core version, but I opted for the pro version in hopes of longevity. NOPE!! I had these shoes for 2 months and had to throw them away because the shoes tore at the shoelace holes. I have never had this problem with the classic. I've owned so many pairs of them, too! So disappointed. Why would Vans not include metal shoelace holes on a pro version of this shoe? Such a waste of money.

I'm pretty disappointed in these shoes to be frank. I really hoped for a lot more out of them but I suppose that was my mistake. I originally bought these in November of last year (Nov. 2, 2018). Had to contact support and issue and exchange for those within a week due to a hole tearing in the suede for no apparent reason. I received them the next day or so (Nov. 12, 2018) and the next pair lasted a bit longer but within 2 months I ran into another issue. The sole was separating from the shoe. I want to mention that I'm not rough with these shoes by any means. I'm a college student and most of their use is just getting me from building to building on campus. So, upset about the shoes breaking again after less than half a year, I contact support yet again asking about an exchange and am granted one (Jan. 23, 2019). The new shoes arrive and everything is great. No issues with fabric tearing and no sole separating, that is, until last week. The sole is tearing away, yet again. I'm at a loss of words. I understand shoes aren't meant to be something that last forever but I've had cheaper shoes last a much greater time than these have. I really liked the style of these and hoped that after each successive exchange that *this* pair would be the ones to last a normal lifetime of a shoe. Ultimately disappointing. Great customer service though.

I absolutely hate these shoes. The suede is like a hard plastic and It pinches my foot at the widest part. The "suede" is so hard and won't break in. I will end up throwing these in the trash.

Liked the style and after one month of wear the fabric at the heel has ripped a hole. Terrible quality, which is too bad because the shoes are stylish. Would not re-order.

The shoe completely exploded after less than 3 months of daily moderate wear (walking only). The sole fell apart from the rest of the shoe starting about 6-8 weeks of wear and is now barely attached to the rest of the shoe.
