These are the widest Vans that I've found, and I've owned or tried on Wards, Atwoods, TNT Advanced Prototypes, Style 112 Pros, and Chukkas. However, while they were wide enough in the toebox, the outside of my foot rubbed against the stitching which would have definitely been miserable if I wore them for even a day. I had to return them. So close!

They look much brighter in the picture than they do in person. “Pale Banana” is pretty accurate. They look good though. They fit like Vans usually fit, I like it but I can’t speak for everyone. It was a hot deal when I got them for $38.50.

They fit. They’re Vans. I have kinda wide feet, I like Vans.

Not sure what was up with this pair, the right foot seems a little off some times, they fit pretty well other than that. I wish there was a constant colorway of these that didn't have any animal parts. It bums me out every time I put these on that cows had to have a lifetime of torture and get slaughtered to make the leather on these. Vans, please we need plant-based SK8-Hi Pro's.

I love these shoes and would have given them a 5 star review if they had been vegan. They seem very well made and are a great value at about $70. They definitely run a little bit large. I normally wear a size 13 or 12.5 when I can find them but I am able to wear a size 12 in this shoe. I have already gotten several compliments from my high school age students.

The shoes fit great! They also came with black laces which I personally love. They look and feel high quality. Little snug sliding your foot into the high tops but they feel great once you’re in. Great shoe.

Nice, good looking sneakers. Not a lot of support, but that's to be expected with this kind of shoe. Really good board feel, they feel low to the ground. Mine lasted about 8 months of moderate wear before the sole separated completely, but they were soaking up water through the sole, getting my feet wet every time it rained after only a couple of months.

These Vans are nice! I Love material on them I recommend to any one looking for a stylish shoes to rock anywhere and anytime.

Removable in-soles is the main reason why I purchased the “Pro” model over the “Classic.” Swapped them out for quality SuperFeet insoles, and these sneakers felt much more comfy. The high top is slightly annoying while driving, wished it had a notch-back. All in all, these SK8-Hi Pros in Black go with everything in a casual environment.

There's something that feels ever so slightly... off about these shoes. I can't put into words exactly what it is, but there's just that last little bit of comfort missing. A few other pairs of shoes have felt like my favorite pair ever right away, these feel like they're going to need a little time to get there. Overall, it's still a nice pair of shoes. I don't mean to give the impression that I'm not happy with them overall. They look great, and the quality of the construction seems absolutely top-notch.

They look great, but I wish they would include better insoles. This is my third pair, but I've replaced the insoles every time. The included ones don't have much cushioning and after a couple days wearing them, the balls of my feet hurt. They're also extremely squeaky. This goes away when you upgrade the insoles.

Nice shoe. Comfortable

Very comfortable. A bit snug so if you have a wide foot, be aware of that. They were slightly snug but when broken in, it was fine. The replaceable insole is fantastic. Love the shoe. Had an ankle injury and these were the go-to shoes to support the ankle. No pain while wearing them.

I bought these for skating, but I end up wearing them every day. I just wish the size was correct on these - they're at least a half size too big, and REALLY wide.

The new pro insoles are a welcomed addition. Provides a lot more cushion especially on the heel than the standard insole. The shoe was a digging into the top of my foot by the first set of eyelets for a couple days until it broke in and stretched out a little. I don't skate in these since I don't really like the board feel of these shoes but they are great for working in especially if you are on your feet a lot.

Love the styling of these sneakers. They are like my 5th pair of vans, and disappointingly they feel like they run much narrower than the other vans i have purchased. I opted to keep them, because they were what i was looking for, but i wish they were wider.

I prefer to buy the Pro's nowadays as they have slightly stronger construction and the insoles are more comfy. This my first Vans Hi-Top after rocking low's for 20 years.... I dig em. I do however wish they had a pull tab at the back and my only other complaint is how the tongue is constructed on these... They really should have added a gusset so that the tongue stays locked in place better... also, the padding of the tongue is very minimal-to-nothing so if you end up lacing tightly your gonna feel not so comfortable IMO. Style points for these shoes are high however. My recommendation: rock these with a pair of Dickies and stay true to tradition. Clean lines, classic styling.

Runs small, and these aren't made like they used to be. Way less comfortable

Cool Vans though didn't fit my husband. He's a 9.5 which were too narrow through the ball of the foot. He exchanged them for size 10 but they too have to go back since they also were tight in the width of the ball of the foot. Luckily returns are easy peasy with Zappos!!!

I have wide feet. These were super tight in the toe box

If worn for a while will hurt top sides of foot due to the stitching of the tongue and also very snug in the toe area so if one has thick toes won't have any wiggle room in the toe area

My husband wanted new high top Vans and these "Pro" versions were the only ones with the color combination he wanted. Unfortunately, they are nowhere near as comfortable as the regular sk8 high tops. They are stiff and tighter in several places along the foot. They had to go back.

Stylish. Arrived quickly. But these things are HUGE!. My actual foot size is around a 9.75 so I typically buy a 10. A small amount of extra room, but better than getting squeezed. I got these in a 10 and feel like I have at least 1-1.25inches of room left in the shoe and removing the insole and standing on it confirms this. Would definitely suggest a half, perhaps even a full size smaller. My foot width is normal and these still have a ton of room in the toe area. If these weren't High tops which, when tied tightly, can offset the extra length of the shoe i'd be sending them back.

Though these shoes are comfortable, not durable. My husband shredded through them pretty fast. The suede fabric is not as durable as the canvas.
