Decent shoes, they look absolutely great and they feel alright. But after about 4 months one of the shoes started to rip in the side. A bit disappointed in such a short lifespan, hesitant to buy Onitsuka Tigers in the future.

I bought these Tigers because I previously owned a pair of Ultimate 81 Tigers that I wore not only to work regularly, but outside of work. My old Ultimate 81s lasted about six years. I bought these Serranos to replace them as work shoes, and they lasted about three months. I loved the shoes - the style the comfort, the fit, but they started tearing up after a few months. I work retail so I am on my feet eight hours a day, five days a week, but I was shocked that the Ultimate 81s lasted so long and the Serranos did not. Depending on how much you want to wear them, take that as you will. I love the shoes, they just did not last long at all.

Only satisfied with 1/2 of the product as the left sneaker is put together fine; however, the right sneaker "tongue" is not set right in the sneaker causing discomfort to the top of the foot. This is why I'm requesting an exchange rather than return. It is possible this was the one and only defect pair in the batch. Let's hope so!

I like the look but the soles are very soft. If you tend to wear the inside or outside of your soles these shoes won't last more than a couple of months.

The shoe looks great, but felt flimsy and had no arch support. I returned it and bought the Saucony Jazz Low Pro. The Saucony feels like a much more substantial shoe that you would actually want to walk a lot in.

I got these shoes in my typical size, but they seemed way too tight on the sides. I decided I just didn't want to spend the time or pain to break these shoes in so, sadly they're definitely going back.

A good looking, stylish shoe that fits me well for its size markings. Things that make me rate it lower:
The light gray fabric is very thin, so these shoes do nothing to keep your feet warm. A good summer shoe, I probably can't wear them through the winter.
The soles also appear quite thin and are already showing signs of wear after a couple of weeks. I almost certainly will wear through the bottoms.

Great looking shoe! Always wanted yellow shoes that Uma Thurman wore in Kill Bill - sadly, too big! Followed the size guide for womens 8 but it was too big. Debating whether I should return it for a smaller size. Disappointed in the quality of the shoe, hate to say it but my son's cheap Target play shoes had better construction. I love the look of retro shoes but expect 2012 materials/performance.

They hurt my feet. I never wear them. Very pretty and lightweight but hurt my feet.

Shoes look great but appear to run a little narrow for me. Very little lace left to tie when trying to get them wide enough. I wear a medium "D" width in most brands but apparently not with this one.

I've work Tigers for years and this is the first time I bought a pair (my usual size) and they felt much smaller and narrower that previous purchases. Hoping this was a one-off and not a sign of things to come. I would recommend sizing up a half size or so.

I have wide feet and have never been able to wear adidas, converse, pumas, or any other of the classic court or running shoe for any extent of time. These were really nice so the temptation was really high to buy. But as usual I have to wear them without socks and with extra long laces. The classic trainer manufactures need to put out wider sizes.

I like the style, but this version is too narrow at the toe and the mesh is not my favorite amongst the other Tiger versions

I buy Onitsuka Tigers religiously. It is my favorite shoe; I've been wearing it for probably the past decade. I do not recommend the Serrano model for people with large feet. I ordered a size 12, and it feels like a size 11. I think the worst part is the width of the shoe--I had to loosen the laces all the way to the toe to make it feel better, but it's still not comfortable. I'm wearing them around the house to try to loosen them up a bit, right now.
In comparison, the Mexico 66 and Ultimate 81 look and feel true to size. If you have large feet, go with those; they're much more comfortable. I don't know what's up with this pair that I received. There is no way in hell these are size 12.

I am so surprised to be writing this - after purchasing two other different cute Onitsuka Tiger shoes (in other colors) and while loving the awesome red/paprika and blue mix color combo, I ordered four different sizes and none of them fit! I even held them up to physically match the Tiger shoes I already own, and nothing worked. I don't understand the Tiger sizing system -each shoe which looks exactly the same from the outside, yet everything is sized differently and it's annoying for the customer. I understand there are men's and women's sizing and even knowing that, and cross-checking the Tiger shoes I already own, I could not make this work. Super bummed, and Thank You to Zappos for the generous and easy return policy. Onitsuka Tiger needs to centralize one sizing system or provide some sort of sizing legend so customers know what to order. The shoes are really cute (no arch support, and I wear them with bare feet) but the sizing thing needs to be fixed.

These are the worst version of the Onitsuka Tiger BY FAR. These are the cheapest version, and marketed as a Zappos Exclusive, but there's a reason. They replaced the top and side material with some non breathing, cheap looking material labeled as "textile", so my feet get super hot all the time since they can't breathe. On top of that, there is zero support in the sole, so these are not good if you're on your feet all day. I've worn this brand for years, and I might not ever again after this version.

Great fit but absolutely the thinnest sole outside of a slipper. (My slippers are thicker). Love the style but not for long walks if you need a good sole.

I really liked this shoe... except for it's lack of durability. It fits well, looks great, and just doesn't last. What doesn't last you ask? The foam on the heal that joins the sole and the tread separated, and not just a little bit. In addition to that, the suede on the front of the shoes tore fairly soon after I started wearing them and continued to do so. I'm not hard on shoes, I don't wear them for anything other than every day wear. I expected these to last a lot longer than they actually did, especially for the price! If you are buying them to sit on a shelf, don't hesitate, but if you are buying them to wear, think twice!

Very narrow. I had a pair of these in size 12, black with gray stripes, that were just a little short, but fit fine in the width. I decided to go to the 12 1/2 since I liked this color. Unfortunately, it seems in their unisex branding, Asics forgot that people with longer feet also tend to have wider feet as you go up in sizes. So, if you have a normal size forefoot, the D width will doubtfully fit. Aside from that, a beautiful shoe for casual days.

I've been wearing variations of the Onitsuka Tiger (Mexico 66, Ultimate 81) for years, all in the same size. This was the first not to fit, and rather badly so. It felt like wearing an under-sized sock.

Cute, but very narrow. I do not have wide feet, but after about 5 minutes my feet were numb from wearing them. Glad I only wore them around the house because back they went!

I am a gal with wide feet and Onitsuka Tiger usually fit well These shoes were much too narrow. I can't imagine a fella would be too comfy. Great look. Much too narrow.

My husband wore these on vacation and walked in them quite a bit over 4 days. By the end of the trip the sneakers look like they've been worn for a couple years. They aren't dirty, they just look worn out. They are not holding up very well at all.

With all the positive comments I hate to submit a negative one but was very disappointed with these shoes. When I received them I thought they were a very nice looking shoe except for the 60" laces (long enough for high-top boots). I went and bought some much shorter laces but should have saved my money. The shoes felt good at first but after wearing them awhile my feet were killing me. The arches are so high - much higher than any other shoe I've ever owned - that I cannot wear them without major foot discomfort. I can't return them since I've worn them so they'll go into my Goodwill donation box. Maybe someone else can tolerate them.
I'd also recommend:
Other ASICS shoes, anything but these.

Stitching and white fabric started fraying where side striping is sewed on after only moderate use and after less than 90 days. Unless you are going to use these for indoor kick around use, they just don't seem to hold up.
