Subpar durability. Interior of heels wore through. Soles showed wear. Shoes began to squeak. This was probably within 1-2 years of light/moderate use. Very nice looking, and light, but my Adidas Samba probably lasted >2x longer.

I have a wide foot and the shoe is too narrow for me.

The fabric looks bad and it's wrinkled. Bring back the old models, they looked better, and had arch support.

Cool looking sneaker. Couldn't get my wide toes into it. And it felt quite stiff as well.

The shoes have zero support. I wore them while running errands and by the end of the day, my foot was sore. They were stylish and I received lots of compliments.

Style looks great but very narrow toe box, went up a half size and still tight. Does not fit like other Onitsuka Tigers I own

these shoes look terrific... my husband has several pairs of different onitsuka tiger models - he wears 11.5 - this one was his first serrano and they are too narrow... will keep it for my son, he will wear them after 6 months or so...

It said it was my size but was tiny, like I'm not sure how anyone could get their foot in it. Really liked how it looked and everything but fitting on a normal for didn't seem plausible.

This is an odd shoe. It looks like a retro sneaker but feels more like a slipper. Its structure is strange: there is zero support at all, but significant padding and the padding feels very soft, like walking on an athletic mat. Not terribly practical. Okay for casual wear, but walking long distances (>2 miles), the balls of my feet start to hurt slightly. Makes me feel light on my feet, which I like. Tread is also fairly weak, allowing slipping, much like a tennis shoe. I can see the weak tread preventing ankle injury if changing direction quickly on a grippy surface like concrete, but I could also see it leading to dangerous slips and falls. I have very good balance so the weak tread is an asset, but if you want a shoe with good traction, avoid this. Also, seems awful expensive at $65. I got this from a brick-and-mortar retail store on clearance and it was much cheaper, but I would not pay full price for this; it's a cheap, minimal shoe. Doesn't wear well, neither treads nor uppers are at all durable. Wearing it around a city will quickly wreck it. I barely wear mine and it's already wearing out. It's also thin and not very warm in winter, but not breathable enough for hot summer weather. What were they thinking when they made this one? This shoe looks good and is comfortable to wear when lounging around in an airconditioned building, but that's about it. Compare to other retro sneakers like NB classics or Saucony Jazz and this shoe looks completely inadequate and overpriced.

This is a very thin shoe for very flat feet. So, this was a huge mistake for me. They look awesome though. I should have purchased the Ultimate81.

I've been a fan of the Ultimate 81 for 10+ years but I really like the black/white combo. At the time I purchased the Serrano, that color combo wasn't available. This shoe whams a very nice look and breathes better than the Ultimate 81. That said, I felt like it was narrower and provided much less arch support. I will wear them but probably wouldn't order again.

I absolutely adored these for the 6 months they lasted. They are such a throwback and I received comments on them all the time. There were only two issues: the sole is elevated slightly, which is nice, but the front half of the sole that is not elevated is extremely thin. I could feel pebbles beneath the balls of my feet. The second issue is that they stretched considerably as they are constructed with a thin nylon. By month six the sidewalls were so stretched that my heels would slip. And that's six months of just wearing them on the weekend. So, yes, they are super cute, but don't expect them to last forever.

I'd describe these as a slim, lightweight fashion shoe. Definitely not for any kind of running or sports use.

I love the look of this shoe. Sleek and classic. Perfect casual shoe. Only problem is that it is too narrow for my feet. I have a pinched nerve in the front of my foot and this just squeezes too tightly. Sadly I need to return it.

Very cute, but the toe box was much more narrow and thinner (sole to top) then other OTs I have (Mexicos). Had to return.

I had high hopes for these shoes given all the positive reviews. I have an old pair of Runsparks that I looooove, but these were no where near the comfort level of those. I got a blister on the top of my toe and at my heels trying to wear these. They are super cute, just not comfy on my foot. A shame, I had to return.

Love the shoes except that they had black dog hair in one of them. Looks like someone tried on the left shoe and had a dirty sock with dog hair on it. You guys really should check that before shipping it out. Just wish I didn't have to clean them out before wearing them, especially since I paid $75.00.

This shoe looks great. The length of the shoe was perfect, however it felt narrow. It may loosen up over time, but it just wasn't comfortable and I didn't want to go up a half size so I returned them.

These shoes are super cute, but I definitely felt like I was buying little boys shoes, not women's shoes based on how they fit. I ordered the M 5.5 / W 8 and the sneaker fit lengthwise but was very narrow and tight. I had to return them. I wish they made them in true women's sizes.

These run quite narrow, so if you even briefly consider your feet to be wide, skip this style altogether. I have size 5 feet w/ narrow ankles and thought these would be good in a 5 1/2 (I always go up 1/2 or 1 full size in sneakers because I wear thicker socks with them), but didn't factor in the bunion on my right foot. Also, I agree with one of the reviewers below when noting that they start looking grubby really quickly (unless you're meticulous about cleaning them -- weekly? Nightly?). On a side note, the soles aren't removable for those that wear orthotics and with the style, even going up a size wouldn't accommodate one. I'll try other Onitsuka Tiger styles, but wouldn't repurchase the Serrano.

These DEFINITELY RUN SMALL. I didn't see too many reviews listing them as small, so I got my normal size. And they're just a bit too snug. I can see where many would say they're comfortable, and for the most part they are. But the shoe seems to narrow right where the ball of the foot, big toe joint is, and then to the toe, making them feel a bit small and scrunched at the front. These are like wearing nothing, which can be good or bad. The good: light and airy. The bad: very little arch support.
