This was not a comfortable shoe, as a matter of fact, it was uncomfortable to walk in and it does not look like an expensive shoe. Disappointed, I thought Birkenstock were supposed to be a high quality shoe.

I bought these for my daughter, she is typically a size 5 in most shoes. These fit great and are just a great looking staple. More support too than most other summer sandals. Great service from Zappos as always!

I purchased these for my husband and he really likes them. He has a small foot 7.5 men and I bought a size 40. I think I’m going to order myself a pair in black because he says they really support your foot. My only complaint is that the shoes were delivered to the house across the street. Zappos please make sure they deliver to the right house next time.

I wear a women’s 8 pretty consistently, b width, and the 38 regular fits perfectly. I love the Stone, and they’re super comfortable on my feet whether barefoot or wearing socks. I only have to adjust the strap closest to my ankle to allow for socks. I also like the look of the copper-colored buckles. I had to return the first pair I ordered because they were too large, and the customer service on my return was excellent. I received my replacement pair very promptly.

GReat quality as always! For those of you that have not worn Birks, they form to your feet, so if they feel hard or if the foot bed possibly feels uncomfortable, give it some time, before you know it you know if the cork will form to your feet and you will not want to take them off!

I had to return the first pair as they were too large. I wear a size 8, which corresponds to a 39 on the chart. I returned them for a 38 regular, which were perfect! My feet are neither wide or narrow, and the regular width is just right. I am in the process of breaking them in, but they’re already quite comfortable. I ordered Stone Birkibuck, which is a lovely neutral gray that goes with anything. I have worn them with socks and without and they feel great both ways; I just loosen the strap close to my ankle one notch when wearing socks. I wore Birkenstocks years ago and it’s great to be wearing them again. BTW, I was very happy with the Zappos service, the exchange was easy and I received the replacement pair quickly.

Very well made and comfortable. This is my second pair and I love these sandals. Birkenstocks for life!

Love these shoes! I bought them to wear outside but decided to break them in by wearing them around the house for a few weeks. They became my summer "house" shoes and now I just ordered another pair to wear outside this summer. They look a little wide, but my feet are wide and I think the narrow width would be uncomfortable for me.

I wear an 8.5 and got the 39 narrow. It is too big for me lenth-wise so I will have to exchange. Other than that I love them.

I ordered these for my daughter in her regular size 8-8 1/2. When they arrived they looked large so I had her try them on (they are a Christmas gift). As suspected, they were quite large. I reordered them in a 7-7 1/2 and they just arrived and fit perfectly. I have to return the original pair. She is happy with them.

shoes are way to hard

I thought it would be too narrow but after adjusting the bands it was perfect!

I haven’t owned a pair of birks in a few years, but finally decided to rejoin the ranks. Everything seemed normal until the first wear around the house. I felt a sharp pain on my left foot, and discovered that there is a tack, nail or whatever fastener they use to attach the straps to the shoe sticking out of the foot bed. It’s very small but it’s definitely a huge disappointment, as I’ve always found the build quality of these things top notch, and they are charge accordingly. I dealt with the issue with some needle nose, but as of now, it’s a bitter taste in my mouth and not what I expect from this company. The issue is pictured. Although it is extremely hard to photograph and I had already already been picking at it when I remembered to document.

Same Birkenstock quality, comfort and fit. Really fast shipping. Only footwear I use at home and out and about and pretty much year around.

Birkenstocks will be your best friend if you have high arches. These are my every-day shoes and my house slippers all in one! I have very narrow feet so I love that they're adjustable but not flimsy. I just got my second pair but my old ones are still great, just very worn after years of every-day use. 10/10 would buy again!

I love these shoes and the support they have. I don't wear narrow shoes regularly but for Birkenstocks, narrow versions fit my feet perfectly.

I have these for both me and my 12 year old daughter. I’m a size 7 regular width fairly consistently and the size 37 narrow fit perfectly with even a little extra room. These are great comfortable sandals!

I do not have a wide foot but the 39 Narrow I bought based on other reviews brought my toes to the edge of the shoes... right up against it so that if I were to have walked in the shoes, my toes would have rubbed against the out edge of the cupped footbed- not good. Another reviewer chose the narrow for the look but I buy Birkenstocks for the support of my arches and the longevity/ good value, including being able to wear them with and without socks. So, if you want the flexibility and room for your toes, but the regular width. Lesson learned... go with what you know and I know my 8- 8.5 size, regular width, high arch feel love size 39, regular width Birks.
