I've worn this style for many years and I just love my shoes

It's hard to find narrow sandals, so thank you to Birkenstock for making them. It's only been two weeks of indoor use, but the sandals seem to be breaking in and becoming less painful and more comfortable. I've read that it's a process for Birkenstocks. I'm hopeful they'll be as comfortable as many people say they are.

The unisex style did not suit my feet!

Love these, though I did wind up having to size down. In normal shoes I wear a 6, and in these I am wearing a 36 (5-5.5). Great sandals that go with everything!

I bought this pair with the intention of wearing with socks and to allow my feet room to spread out. I have only worn them once but they are comfortable and I am able to adjust them to wear without socks. The foot bed has nice support for the arch. The color is neutral enough to be worn with anything.

Love them! Great style. Comfortable. Worth every penny.

I’ve owned many pairs of Birks over the past 20 years. My teenager wanted this pair so I bought them for her birthday and she loves them. Birkenstock is by far superior in quality and comfort than any other brand I’ve worn. Wearer for life. ??

I love Birkenstocks, but it is really important to know your European shoe size. I am a size 6 in all of my US size shoes, but in Birkenstock I am a size 35 which they call a 4 or 4.5 US. That is quite a difference!

I've been wanting to get Birkenstock's for a while to help with my toes nerve pain besides loving the style. I was in doubt between the soft and regular footbed and figured the best way to know the difference was trying them out at the store, I personally didn't have a preference so I went with the regular. I am a size 11W and tried the 42's but they were a full size smaller so I went up a size, 43's are perfect for me. I got the brown color and can wear with anything.

While all Birkenstocks are comfortable, these just might be my most comfortable pair yet. Overall? 5 stars. Comfort? 5 stars. Style? C'mon, they're Birks! :-)

Love them. So comfortable. Perfect for summer. Definitely notice what other commenters have said about the sizing & way the straps fit. I don’t have tiny feet & I am on the last buckle hole.

My first pair love them

I have been trying to buy my first pair of Birkenstock sandals. What a struggle that was. Their shoes come in 10-10 1/2 or 11-11 1/2 sizes., wide or narrow widths. I normally wear a size 10 1/2 - 11 shoe. Zappos was so patient with me! I ordered and returned 5-6 different sizes/widths in different styles and upper material. They allowed me to return them all until I have finally gotten my shoe that fit. I found out I can either wear a 10 1/2 wide or 11 narrow. When I got this shoe in, put it on, it fit perfectly. It doesn’t have the soft footbed, which I liked while trying on the shoes), but seemed comfortable right out of the box. So it was a keeper. Finally!! I have worn the shoe off and on for several days now and it is getting pretty uncomfortable. I read where others have worn socks while breaking them in, so started doing that. My daughter, who has worn Birkenstock for the last 25 yrs, said I’ve almost reached the broken in point. After that, I’m supposed to love them so much I don’t want to take them off. So, I’m going to continue working on them. I have since purchased my second pair of Birks in the Florida Fresh (Birkenstock’s Birko-flor top) in Dove Blue. I must have faith I can break them in. (Their like Lays potato chips, can’t have just one!) They also don’t have the SFB. LOL

Fit and size were great. I have small feet so I had to return them twice to get it right. LOVE Zappos for their great customer support and free shipping. I've never worn Birkenstocks before... I'm not sure if there is a breaking in period or if my feet are just messed up but I wouldn't call them comfortable. Maybe I would say "sturdy". Hopefully they are better for my feet, as I am used to wearing cheap flip flops. I definitely love the straps and feel more secure walking in them and having them for all day use. I love the style too. I can wear them with any outfit, dress or jeans, camping or going out. Although they aren't as comfortable as I hoped, I still love them and would recommend.

I’m usually an 8.5 - the 39 (8/8.5 in USA) fits PERFECTLY! They formed to my feet without any issues and they are so comfy and supportive for my feet! These are definitely sandals worth paying a little more for.

Initially these sandals felt great. They fit and looked good. However, I wore them for the first time and got awful cuts on my left foot from the material rubbing. It has been a few months and I still have scars. Luckily, Zappos customer service is so exceptional, they let me return the worn pair for a suede pair. The suede pair has been awesome. If you can splurge for the more expensive pair, I would highly recommend it. Also, I am a size 6.5 and the 35 fits perfectly in the length.

These are perfect, I tried the narrow but that doesn't work for me. My feet are not very wide but I don't like the feel of the sides rubbing. I am an old school Birkenstock lover so I like the original footbed. I wear a 7 - 7 1/2 in shoes but in Birkenstock I am a 5 - 5 1/2 . I've tried many shoes over the years and wore a lot of Vionic flip flops but there is nothing like the support of Birkenstock, I'm back to Birkenstock for good.

I mean, it's a birkie. You can't go wrong.

These were too big, I'm a size five normally and a 35, so I was already worried when I saw 35 EU was 4.5 US, so I bought the 4.5 and it was still too large. In addition, if you are getting these because you prefer not wearing leather, they are great. But if your indecisive, leather felt nicer and higher quality.

I was replacing the identical pair which I have owned for several years and worn out. I feel they run a bit large and definitely need some time to mold the footbed. When broken in they are the most comfortable shoe. I’ve been wearing Birkenstocks for 30 years
