After 11 days I finally got the mat. I was a bit disappointed as the price of the shipping is 5. However, I've been enjoying the mat already for a few days. As always, it stars quite slippery but little by litter the grip in improving. The weight I'd say is somewhere in the middle, portable. The client support has been great. I am hopping to enjoy the mat for a long time.

I took your yoga mat quiz and said I do hot yoga and this came up as a #2 choice. Got it and it was the slipperiest mat I have ever used! Could not participate in class and even if my hands are slightly sweaty outside of hot yoga they still slip in a downward dog or wide legged pose. Wrote in about it and was informed its a closed pore mat so it would be quite slippery in hot yoga so why would it show up on your mat quiz AT ALL as a good option to choose??

This mat is very high quality and is worth the purchase. BUT the amount of work it has taken to break it in so that I can use it without slipping is insane. I tried the salt, I tried soap, I tried cleaner. Finally what did the trick was using a magic eraser to gently wear the top layer so it was sticky enough to practice on. Im exhausted from the pure amount of work that had gone into this. Manduka clearly has the ability to do this in the production line. For a $140 matI expect it to come ready to use. No questions asked.

So far so good havent used it enough in class yet to fully judge but it is cushiony and supportive when doing certain poses. The class is is on a hard roof floor which I used to feel on my old mat so a big difference.

Love this mat! Ive been doing yoga regularly for about a year, and I wish I would have purchased this a lot sooner. It has changed my yoga experience completely. I feel safe and secure in all my practices - no slipping! I highly recommend this mat!

I'm happy with the product. Definitely really slippery at first but after a week of use it is fantastic now. Color not as bright as I expected but still beautiful. Really easy to clean.

This mat is a slip n slide. I understand there is a "break in" period, but if I am paying ~$100 for a yoga mat I would prefer to not have to undertake a months-long process in order to achieve ideal use. I would recommend going with a different brand whose mats are ready to use off the shelf.

This is my second Pro mat - I wanted a thinner one than the classic 6mm to travel with. Love it! Ive bought many too expensive yoga mats and this is the only one that is worth the price and more. Its easy to clean, never smelly or stains. Great grip with use. I didnt do the salt method and grip is still great.
